hmmm 60 poins with psy scream? at level 42 with PF and Concentraion I am doing 181 points to leve 43 minions, and its not even slotted well (air burst at the moment).

if the mob has some psi resistances, yes you will have problems, but in my experience, Psychic Blast has been a pretty nice damage to it.

You must have missed dark astoria, radio missions in the 40s, citadels tf, nemesis, council bots in general, malta bots, arachnos bots, banished pantheon and any time you had a group spawn more than three because of the shortage of aoes in the set.

Well the stun in the set is horribly slow animating. 3 seconds for a st stun ???

The one aoe in the set is a slow dot.


Now if you combine the primary with /MM its even more good news bad news. Good news is MM is very very good, bad news you are doing even more of that damage type that so many things just shrug off

Hmm Psinado, Psiscream, and PSW with drain psyche and Psychic Wail. I seem to take out a lot of groups quite easily.

I did not take scramble thoughts, WoC works rather well keepin gme allive most of the time. with PF and Concentration, my first attacks do rather well.

I have fought psi resistant foes, and they are a difficult. But all in all I havent found the set to be bad. heck, mix me with a fire blaster, and the rest of the team gets bored because we are slaughtering everything to fast.

I only have one set in that increases damage by 2.5% ( he is 42, and yes i have fought a myriad of the foes you have described)

So no, I do not find Psychic Blast a bad set. I hit with PSinado, mind scream, drain pysche and pSW and finish off what is left.

I like my Pure Psi blaster. I find both Psi and MM fun to play.

So since I14 came out, my drivers keep crashing etc.

I have both tentacles and Night fall, and love them both, tentacles does smashing damage and immobilizeings, night fall does damage to in like an aoe... so immoblize, then blast with night fall.... at least that is what I do
