  1. Greetings! When i click on any build i receive the Update pending notice that a recently downloaded update pack has not yet been applied. It states it needs to restart Mids to apply the previous update. It states it needs to exit. Then a new window pops up with MHDLoader.exe and my computer warns me that the publisher is unknown. I accept and then it opens Mids to the last build i viewed.

    So far so good, right? Well then i click a different build i was working on and it does the same thing (update notice, etc) and again opens to the same build as the first. The only way i can get a build opened is to click file, then open and the select from the browsing window. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times to no avail. I am inquiring if any of you have had the same problems with mids and what you did to fix it. Please help, as i have several toons to respec and have been fighting with this since the new mids came out (btw, this is the version from the forums). Thanks in advance!
  2. Greetings again! And thank you to all who posted. I tried a few variations and this is what i am running now. It allows me to jump in Confuse the dickens out of everyone, cast Roots, drop Freezing Rain, Carrion Creepers, and Ice Storm. Lightning Storm, go into Hibernation, (if necessary) and watch the fun. Strangler and Roots for the stragglers. Repeat. Frozen Breath for variety & Tornado, just in case. I went Ice Mastery (because i Love me some Ice Storm) and i find CJ does fine for height of my Storms. I will likely upgrade some of my enhancements as they become available. Any thoughts?

  3. Thank you, New Dawn & Aett! I had similar thoughts but i really was not sure about Jacob's Ladder.

    I am trying to get some basic power ordering figured out. So another question: Would you recommend Crystal Armor & Minerals late in the build or somewhere in the middle? Some say you will not need either until late (some said Minerals until last power choice). I am trying to get tough and weave right after Granite to maximize it's durability. And i am reviewing the list of recommended sets to achieve my other goals.

    In the early levels i am finding considerable advantage to my endurance bar. I like it and i think i even have a good look for this armor set. I just want it to play well. Thanks again to all who reply!
  4. I was looking to build something different but i still want an effective Tank. My Goals are to softcap at Granite or before and still hopefully overcome -recharge, -damage and -speed to a reasonable degree. I talked to a longtime player and he said all the secondaries worked well with Stone. But my friend told me electric melee had no synergy with stone. I wasn't going to Jacob's Ladder (cone on a stone?) or lightning clap, nor brimstone armor. I am not sure about Crystal Armor or Stone Skin. Teleport and Fighting Pools seem a given from my reading on the forums. Anyone out there who has a Stone/Elec and can give me some advice? Any advice on power choices? And are my goals possible at the same time or do i have to choose between them? If i have to choose what would make for a good tank (primarily teaming). I appreciate your candor and help, this will be my first stone tank.
  5. Thank you to all who have replied; please allow me to clarify my thinking. I am fond of a fast moving and efficient play style ;as most of the teams i play on are very quick and destructive. This is why i didn't take Spirit Tree; barring AV's, i am not in one place long enough for it to help. Maybe it was my slotting but i didn't find Thunderclap or Vines very useful (for vines - just did not hit very often). Tornado is my "Oh Crap" button - combined with roots it does more damage and without it removes them from my vicinity. I agree that my best mitigation is to control & obliterate my opponents and if i could i would have Freezing Rain and Carrion Creepers up at every spawn. I will consider your advice and try to come up with a better build - not just one slapped together from what i have stored.
  6. Hello and thank you! I figured my friends build was better but i knew some things could be tweaked. The sad truth is that my current build (which i will now post) is great for Sister Psyche TF's but my toon gets exhausted or dies far too quickly now. It also has some legacy enhancement issues. I love the powersets for the most part (not so fond of vines,spores, O2 boost or Spirit tree). But i loved it more when i was a force of nature and held/immobilized and destroyed all before me. Anyway, once you see the build that evolved you will understand my need for a new one.

  7. Greetings! I am seeking advice on my build for Green Judge. He was an absolute blast to play in his early forties. But since i have slotted him for IO sets he seems more vulnerable and slower to attack. So i and a friend have each come up with a build for him.
