The WST is normally updated early in the morning on Tuesdays, around 5 AM Pacific, 8 AM Eastern . Today's update was not applied until 9 AM Pacific, Noon Eastern.

Since they ran the event before the update, OV_ohms and preachmoore should be able to repeat the Mortimer Kal SF to receive the WST bonus for this week.

Beta Server 01 is the correct shard for Beta testing.
Player access to the shard should be available shortly.

Client and Server should both be 2050.201105190739.0.0 for the start of Keyes Island Beta.
If you are running NC Launcher, you can right click on CITY OF HEROES BETA and verify that your client is running the same version as the server.

It would also help us to know which server you were on when this occurred.

Can you provide an approximate time of day and time zone when this occured?

We would like to see if this happened to all of you around the same time or if this is something that is happening at random intervals.

We do not have a Mac version of the Beta installer but you can access the Beta with a Mac in the following way:

1. Control-click on “City of Heroes” and choose “Duplicate”.
2. Rename the copy "City of Heroes Beta".
3. Control-Click on the "City of Heroes Beta" and choose "Show package contents".
4. Open the Contents folder.
5. Open the Info.plist file that is located in the Contents folder with TextEdit and edit these lines at the end of the file just before the </dict>, and </plist> lines:
<key>CiderGameOptions</key>
<string>-- cohupdater.exe -beta</string>
6. Close and save the Info.plist file.
7. Double-click "City of Heroes Beta" to download the beta client.

In preparation for the Going Rogue Loyalty Closed Beta starting tomorrow, Thursday, July 22nd, 2010, the game client will be made available for pre-download in order to alleviate the expected load on our patching servers.

The North American Beta client is available here.

And the European Beta client is available here.

Please bear in mind that this is only a pre-download for all of you who have taken part in the Loyalty Program that ran between August 15th and November 15th, 2009.

Access to the Closed Beta servers will be effective from Thursday, July 22nd, 2010 on. Participants will be receiving a Beta invitation and their access to the Closed Beta forums will be enabled on the same day.

We know you've been eagerly waiting for this particular phase of the Closed Beta to start and thank you for your patience with this.


Known Issues:

The first attempt to grab the installer may result in a 5-10 second download of an empty .zip file. If this occurs, just try again and you should start the full download.

The CohBeta folder will install by default to Program Files\NCsoft\CohBeta this is different from the usual default of Program Files\CohBeta.

I am new here to the City of Heroes family and will be working on Publishing with Doc Delilah as we head towards Issue 18.

Consider me impressed at the thoughtfulness, friendliness and level of detail that has been shown in many of your posts as I have been standing in the shadows the last few weeks.

It's great to be here with the Paragon team and all of you Villains, Heroes, Vigilantes and Rogues.
