Isn't that many badges for making story arcs really, except the people's choise award and that dev choise award you can't really do much about, but I can se a whole lot of heroes (not many badge hunting villains) hogging breathing space in the labs trying to get 8 man teams for mad grinding of test missions etc.

It's so silly, badges for testing test missions... for crying out loud, badges has really lost the appeal to me, beggining with those idiotic invention badges. Devs broke the badges!! All your base are belong to us!

Edit: Oh, ah pre-I14 moan, soz about that, but I'm so darn good at it!

Personally, my brain sort out all info that comes from my left eye as long as my right eye is open (yup, total domination) so 3D is of very limited interest to me. Not to mention this type of technoligy hasn't impressed me so far (probably because of my eye problem, but...)

Nah, update the textures, gfx engine etc. Give us DX10, real shades etc. I mean, have you ever tried standing at the trainer in grandville and turned around? The effect is horrible, not to mention how many still get black boxes/missing textures, horrible overlapping etc. Imagine if their work with Aion gave US (pun intended) Unrealengine?

Well, he does have a point, MA might bring a lot of creative people back into the game, and even a bunch of new people. How many MMOs do you get the chance to actually make content in yourself?

With the defiant villain haimraid postponed, I thought I'd still have some fun on my cake day, this sunday, so here's the plan:

The non-annual Defiant Cimeroran Bridge Co-Op drumdance/linedance bonfire april sun festival dance party in preparation of the 5th anniversary of CoH post I14 release party AoE and Nuke bonanza!

This sunday I urge every hero and villain of appropriate level to head over to Cimerora and meet me on the bridge to make another Line Dance video. Clothes optional! (but eden or roman outfit does come to mind)

For those eager to start, We'll have som bonfires running on the beaches before the dance5 emote association starts hitting the big drums!

While some people might not like the level requirements, I love the idea of people being able to Nuke the living daylight off the poor hampsters running the server. Yes, there will be nukeage, hot'n'cold rain and strange madness a'plenty!

For the rest, we'll start (drum)dancing at 14.00 CET, thats 1 PM for the people living on the isles just west of Europe!

...and for those on the smelly server (that might object to me posting here)! BOOHOO!

Yeah, I think this is just another horde of badges similar to the stupid invention stuff, day jobs etc. I can't be bothered anymore even on a single alt. Guessing Chilling Twilight on the smelly server has passed me anyway by now, since I can't even be bothered to log in and move Sing Star every 21st day!

There's really no reward for the badges and they're dead boring to grind. I'd rather keep doing ITFs, Treespecs and whatever "rewarding" stuff still in the game, including the villain hamiraid. Actually the villain hamiraid might be THE biggest news in-game this year IMHO apart from the other thread I'm about to start... Yeah, you just watch it!

Any evening is normally fine with me. Holidays are usually the hardest ones, because they're never planned and I've realized real life's way more important and fun than a 5 year old game.

Would be fun to do the raid on my cake day, but sort of glad I don't have to make that work! My sister can be a bit much!
