  1. Do female archers still use the male run animation?
  2. Is this the right place to ask for the run animation to be fixed for females with a katana or bow? They use the male run animation when they have the weapon out (and jump animation too for that matter - but that's not as jarring).

    It would be really sexy if you could fix that or pass it on to someone who can.

    Because if they give SR scrappers good Defense AND good Damage mitigation, they'll rarely get into near-death situations.

    I've alluded to this in a couple of places, but I wanted to describe something we'll be doing for Super Reflexes quite soon...

    Super Reflexes Auto powers (Agile, Dodge, and Lucky) now add some minor damage resistance. This Damage resistance starts at 0%, but improves as the caster loses HP. The Resistance kicks in at 60% HP (when HP bar first changes color) and markedly increases at 40% and 20% (again, when the bar changes color). We have not yet determined the exact values.

    This change is in addition to the recent modification that gave most Defense Primary and Secondary powers resistance to Defense Debuffs (self Defense powers).

    Well, Jack, that sounds marginally better than defiance since it does at least provide you with some protection from dying once you've screwed up to the point where it activates. So thank you for not saddling us with that piece of crap instead.

    But if the resistances aren't getting up to 50% by the time hp are down to 20% then they seriously are not worth having. No competent player is staying at 20% without serious resistance to back that up. Don't throw us another 5% resistance bone like those joke inspirations and expect us to be satisfied. That's just a cheap trick to get people to forget that you have nerfed their powers and ignored their concerns for the past 8 months when there wasn't even anything overpowered about them. There wasn't any balance about that, it was just stupid and vindictive.

    And another thing, Jack. Don't call me a caster again, you EQ fanboy.
  5. Wow, TA sucks. It is just bad. Really really bad. I didn't try it before the nerfs, so it might have needed to be toned down a little. I don't know. But you overdid it. It's just crap now.

    Entangling Arrow - does nothing. Worst power ever. We get this instead of a heal for the first power, it should at least have an effect. It is inferior to the immobilize powers of controllers and blasters because theirs at least do damage. And take effect as soon as they hit instead of 2 seconds later. And don't have a stupidly long animation time. Plus a weapon draw time. And why on earth was the accuracy bonus removed?

    Flash Arrow - does nothing. The accuracy debuff is so small to be unnoticable. And stealth has been nerfed to be ineffective in I5 anyway.

    Glue Arrow - does something. Now that you're level 2, you can use a power to actually affect a battle. Not drastically mind you, but it can have a small effect on how much damage people take. Every 2 minutes. That's obviously not something you'll get to use every fight... because it would be too powerful for you to use your only marginally effective power in every fight.

    Ice arrow - at least it's a hold. It's the worst hold in the game, bar none, but its the best power we've got so far so you can't complain too much. And you can use it every fight! The animation time is almost as long as the hold duration though, so you can't do much else.

    That's as far as I've gotten with it, but why would I want to go farther? By level 6, you still can't even put up a passable semblance of being a defender. The only primary power you can use consistently is a feeble hold. Instead of being useful to a team, you're just an inferior controller. Vastly inferior in fact considering controllers do x2 damage now when they hold someone.

    You have to fix this.

    Glue arrow needs to be usable every fight. At the very least.

    Ice arrow needs to be able to perma hold (or close) out of the box.

    Flash arrow needs to do a debuff. One that has a noticable effect on enemy accuracy. You know, make them miss occasionally. Like all the other defender debuff powers. Darkest Night, Radiation Infection, Hurricane - am I getting through here?

    Entangling arrow needs to be scrapped and replaced with a useful power. Really, this is the worst power in the game.

    The animation time for every power in the set needs to be reduced.
