Oh yeah, brown leather. I forgot about that as opposed to metallic for an acceptable over-layer.

And I apologize for being elitist.
This was all done in good fun. -

Today's bit of knowledge: Superhero costumes traditionally use the heraldic method of 2 tinctures(color) and one metal(silver, gold), black and white being used in both fashions.
I suppose you won't be happy without some screens, so have this one and that one and one over there

I like this one.
Purple has been pretty tough to work with.
But you confirm what I thought, that 3 different colors are near impossible to pull off and look tasteful without one being a metallic color.
Have you found yourself trying to incorporate a contrasting 3rd color into all of your designs now? I seem to be overly avert to only using 2 "tinctures". -

I am not sure what is worse:
The fact that he thinks its a cool costume or the fact that is looks like something you could achive by hitting the Random button enough times.

I really like your Snowman Frost.
But I just don't get the other character in your sig. Like Turbo-Ski, maybe there is a great bio to make up for lack of imagination at name and character generation? -

That's an awful costume and you should be ashamed for making it.

I like this combination.
Your participation in this thread has been invaluable. -

You quoted Star Trek? Now we'll have to fine you thirty thousand Quatloos!
Oh, and for the OP... Light-Speed is rainbowriffic!

I like it. I'm impressed.
It's a shame more people couldn't be manipulated into playing along.

I found the OP'sawesome costumes in another thread (posted below), but when I tried to count the colors, I got a little confused. One, two, three... ? Nope, I lost it.

Then you agree with me that the 2 color combo is terribly bland.
This is the character that got me thinking about the 3 color combo and it's superiority over the 2 color scheme.

I can no longer even stomach looking at the other costumes in that post. Looking at them makes me physically ill, and I weep at my own mediocrity.
As an admitted novice I made no claim to greatness other than being leaps and bounds above the sheer number of black and red "Heroes". -
When I look at my awesome character with 3 coordinating colors in the theme, I can't help but look down on the 2 color people.
What 3+ color combinations work for you?
I'll admit that I'm a costume novice, and I find myself stuck with 2 base colors and metal accents.
I'm very interested in seeing other characters with a minimum 3 colors.
I classify a multiple color scheme as:
3 different colors, not different shades, across a minimum of 3 pieces. Fewer pieces are allowable with more color combinations.
And try not to look like a 5 year old that dressed themselves for the first day of kindergarten.
I'm sure that someone will impress me.
