Quote:I haven't even been able to install City of Heroes, and I've reinstalled NCLauncher multiple times after throwing out the preferences folders. Still nothing.Looks like some file NCLauncher is trying to read into memory is too large for it to handle. Try throwing out your City of Heroes preferences (you'll need to use the Go menu in the Finder and type ~/Library/Preferences to find those) and then try launching NCLauncher again. If that fails, you may have to re-install both NCLauncher and City of Heroes.

The log's really long so I'll post the file.

Looks like it goes into an infinite loop or something. -
Quote:After doing this and redownloading the laucher, the User Agreement form pops up, and after hitting accept, a window pops up for a split second before closing, and then it goes back to what it did before - memory usage swells until the app eventually dies.Core 2 Duo Macbook Pro means you're using nVidia, I believe. First, throw away your NC Launcher preferences. Do that by using the Go menu in the Finder, and typing ~/Library/Preferences, and throw out the file that's something like com.ncsoft.nclauncher.plist.
After that, throw out the NC Launcher application itself, and download it again from here: http://na.cityofheroes.com/en/my_acc..._of_heroes.php
See if it behaves better after that. -

And I know I can run the game, I played it on this same computer last year after Going Rogue was released. -
I'm having the exact same issue with my game. I download the NCLauncher for Mac, open it up, it bounces a couple times, and then my computer gets really laggy for a bit, and then it closes unexpectedly with the same error report here.
