I would love for one of my comic scripts to be turned into a comic. I recently posted this thread Comic Scripts to gage the communities opinion on seeing more comic scripts formats on the forum instead.

I'm a shocking artist and was going to take the approch using Comic Book Creator with screen grabs to make my stories but if someone was willing to draw it them it would be fantastic.

Not wanting too throw to much at you, but would you prefer something short or aim a little higher with the number of pages? I can get a bit carried away sometimes

Hi guys, thanks for the feedback just what I was looking for. I wasn't sure what would be the best approch as I love writing in both formats... well I lie, for some strange reason I can write comic formats quicker (possibly I think visually better with comics).

I think for me the whole planning of my stories is what I'm strongest at which helps me come up with scripts quickly. Here is a link to my site which details my Creative Process I'd love for you to take a look and let me know what you think...

I love this idea... hope to see more interviews from shocker. Same as RedCommissar, got to have a go at this myself.

That'll be a no then. I might just do some stories in the comic format and see what the reaction is...

I'm seeking members for my new creative / RPG super group "Patriot Brigade". I've just finished setting everything up and aiming to get members with a keen comic book role playing style and creative ideas for their characters:

Super-Group Aim:

The Patriot Brigade has been created as dedicated “creative epicenter” fan base with in the COH/COV universe.

The aim of the group is to become a comic book creative team using players own heroes to create rich origins, back stories and to form the Patriot Brigade super-group:

A SG for players to create and submit artwork, stories, comic strips / scripts and discuss all aspects of the superhero media.

Getting together as a creative team to come up with story ideas and planning on line comics for their own characters and the Patriot Brigade.

To have fun, enjoy the game and getting together with friends.

I want the Patriot Brigade SG to be unique and give players of COH/COV game a creative outlet. If the above appeals to you then please read the following rules.

Super group member types:

Creative Super group Members (CSGM):

Those who sign up to the creative aspect of the SG will be know as creative super group members (CSGM), and will be given a dedicated character page where their character origins and creative submissions will be kept.

None creative super group members (NCSGM):

These are those members who want join the super group purely for the role playing experience and be part of a dedicated super group.

How to gain membership:

Only SG Leaders and Commanders can recruit member into the Patriot Brigade. To gain membership you can either email on-line, through the site at http://www.patriotbrigade.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk on this forum or try and locate the SG Leader or Commanders listed in the Patriot Brigade SG Roster. The SG leader or Commander will then arrange a meeting on-line so you can be invited into the SG.

Only NCSGM Leaders and Commanders will be actively seeking in game members.

Depending on what aspect of the SG you want to take part in, you will need to identify those leaders or commanders who are CSGM or NCSGM.

CSGM leaders and commanders will be running the creative side of the Patriot Brigade SG.

NCSGM leaders and commanders will be running the in game super group aspects like task force missions, base raids, PvP events.

Its coming along nicely, your action pacing is really well written.

Just a quick note, its safe to assume their daughter has gone missing but due to number of time mentioned since chapter one maybe a quick explanation should be incorporated somewhere in this chapter to kind of give a higher sense of loss and give that connection to the characters.

Nice cliff hanger can't wait to read the next bit.

I've been going through a number of posts regarding fan fiction and some of the fantastic submissions that have already been posted (just need to find more time to read the rest). I have noticed that most are short story novel based pieces which are obviously CoX based in origin.

Now CoX is based on the comic book superhero genre which is a very visual medium. I love comic books and love to write. Recently I started writing comic book scripts and find this a fantastic approach to telling a story, but how visually representative is this to others.

I’m hoping to start submitting some stories soon and I would love to get some peoples opinions on which format they might want to see. A normal novel based script or a comic book style script.

Also a quick plug for my SG site which is taking a very creative approach to CoH and giving members the opportunity to submit stories and really flesh their characters out by creating origins / back stories and ongoing story arks for there characters.
