  1. I appreciate your assistance with this matter. Apparently I just needed to update the drivers for the ATI Radeon 9100 chipset. My brother can now log into city of heroes just fine now that I have updated drivers! Thank you for your assistance and time!
  2. Hello,

Hopefully this is not a known issue or I will feel like an idiot. I am actually posting this for my brother as he plays CoX as well. He is using a slightly dated computer but it has always been able to run CoX up until we updated to Issue 17. After the Issue 17 patch download, we now get the CoH updater which runs fine, when the game loads, where the normal loading screen is, the screen just turns black. When the login screen loads. I get two gray shaded areas which are the username and password boxes. I can actually log in and load the game when when I do, everything looks like an alpha or beta rendition of the game and only a cape and some of the surrounding landscape will show up. Nothing has changed on the computer and we were able to play using this computer prior to the Issue 17 update. CoHUpdate log is as follows:

I am sincerely hoping that the Issue 17 didn't make my graphics card incompatible. We also run "K9" accountability software on this computer but that hasn't not affected play ability before and hasn't caused issues with previous patches. I have also done a full uninstall and reinstall of the game files thinking the Issue 17 download got corrupted and it happened after reinstall as well.

    Can anyone help?
