D: whew last 2 days have been rough, Ive been working on Lady Liberty..I got 2 attempts at her, neither is particularly complete but I will come back to them later.

^_^b its a great start hun, I am abit curious about what your goals are as a artist, Whether you are just testing the water or looking to do it as a serious hobby or otherwise. I would suggest you go out and find pictures of people and draw them from in magazines or on the internet. Deviant arts photography sections are a great place to find references for things you need to work on.
Just keep on praticing and have fun!

Ello' Here is a pretty done piece for me, I spent round 3 1/2 hours working on it, its of my main hero amartasu in some lovely beachware. I dont really take to realistic styles very often but I do have a good time doing these when I do....ANYWAY

Okay so I picked up a trial copy of coral painter ((I LOVE IT AND SHALL PURCHASE ASAP))
