I've created a new topic in the forums which hopefully peeps will add to if they're experiencing similar issues.

If it is more widespread, it should help the devs pin it down with more examples.

Hi Bridger, thanks for looking. (I'm assuming that you'll see the reply as well btw)

right at the top of the screenine you can see my TG has just hit for its usual amount (349.69) but admittedly most of this is obscured by the tabs.

Even so, that means that point 2, when the second TG hits, my HP (again, assuming the start point is 1) has received 2 hits of TG @ 349.69 and a transfusion @ 407.97 - 1107.35 hp for those counting. So, I'm without a doubt at full health by point 2 on my screenie.

Now bear in mind that we're AV battling, so I'm ctrl-clicked TG to spam for -regen.

I appreciate what you're saying about animation times, but exactly how long is the animation time for Psionic Lance?

You can see that it hits at point 2. It then has time to recharge and hit again at 3, then recharges and misses between 5 and 6.

So, if Swan (cheater) activated her Lance before I was at full health, that means the interrupt time is equivalent to AT LEAST 2 recharges of TG and its associated animation time.

That's without even taking into account that she's somehow managed to down our granite brute at almost the same instant I faceplanted.

Can i have a Swan-Origin interrupt reduction please?

Now, speaking of last night, I was robbed - by Swan.
She DEFO one-hitted me, and I can prove it.
SV has a HP of 921. It might be 921.7, so let's assume it's 922hp.

Now, I've linked to a screenie of the combat log, and annoted it for all to see.

So, let's assume I have 922 hp, and assume that I am down to just 1 HP before point 1 on the screenie. (in reality I had at least 50% health, but nvm)

So, 1 HP to start, transfusion heals me for 407.97, taking me to 408.97 HP. (I'm also assuming I have no regen btw)

2. I haven't been hit since the last heal, so the 349.69 heal takes my HP to 758.66

3. I'm still not hit, so Dr's 210.17 heal takes my HP to 968.83 hp. this means I'm at my full HP of 922.
4. Still not been hit, but TG heals me
5. STILL not been hit, but am healed again. By this time, if my HP wasn't capped at 922, I'd have 1726.49 (which would be lovely)

the point for all this, of course, is to prove I was at 100% full health - without a doubt.

In between 5 & 6 TG missed, which is 2 slotted with lvl 53 Acc SO's, and missed a lvl 49, but that's another issue

6. Swan tickles me for a mere 3456.87 (nearly a flush!), killing me outright, because at 7, when combat log helpfully tells me I am no longer flying, I'm eating floor.

now come on, am I reading it all wrong, or did I get one-shotted, which alledgedly doesn't happen any more?

And ok, it doesn't matter cos I'm 50 now anyway, but in some situations you can see how this would be the difference between a team wipe and staying standing.

I do have the quandry of which toon to bring though, cos I've got Scarlet Ember and Firescar, both at 22. Ember is great - loving her much more than Cobalt, and if I ever took a brute to 50 I think it'd be her.

Firescar is rubbish solo. I've slotted for heal effectiveness up until now (yay! finally have "thaw") so she only has 2 attack powers which are both pretty poo. I'm intentionally avoiding the AoE powers at this point and won't be taking them until later.

The main reason I want to level firescar is cos I have plans for evolving her cossie! but as she heals too (and she carries a bottle of TCP for all you villains that keep falling and grazing your knees) she has her uses.

So, by now, you've probably realised that there's no point to this post, I just wanted to share my quandry with you

So, overall feelings for how the double xp came in anyone?

If you ask me it didn't seem to make a great deal of difference once you were through the first 15 levels.

Got my new brute to her travel power and beyond though, so that's all good. Finally cleared the debt on Cobalt too!

Mind you, it's a shame the debt cap was dropped, cos I found it was peaking at 110k debt on SV at some points, although I did manage to get it higher by random chance on a couple of occasions, although never higher than 220k.
