Hmmm, nevermind I found the answer to my question: It gives Pool D salvage.
(Pool A: enemy drops, Pool B: mission drops, Pool C: task force drops & Pool D: trial drops)

Yep, I've also done it twice in less than 10 minutes.
The key for the sync is to use mission timer instead of just counting at the chat box.
