I'm hosting a casual arena night this coming saturday Sept 12th probably will make a seperate thread about it since noone has posted in this one for 2 years
Hopefully some people will show up, if not I'll just run it with the SG people O.o
There might be a lottery among those showing up,prize not decided:P -
Think there is any interest of doing a PvP night on a weekend? I could host one maybe.
Even if I'm not sure which weekends I am able to be online, but it woulden't be hard to start some kickballs or some such if there is atleast some core people who feels like doing some weekend PvPing. -
Been a lot of fun Ido!, I will miss the lolduels we used to have!
I also did have fun in that pvp duo tourny when we ran dual noobs,we might not have won.. but we should had gotten style points
I've probably never ever seen a player with such pure talent when it comes to being a noobThen again noobs do have more fun!
You will be missed in COH land, and I hope you have had a great time playing this game.
I would tell you to keep your stuff! but I also understand that when the game loses it's fun it's hard to get that fun back again, and even if you do there are so many other fun things in life! -
Nice to hear that you had fun Annabel! Arena events like these are generally kinda laid back and trash talking isen't very common.(and who has time to type when pvping anyway!,messing around with friends on voice chat might work better if you are into that
)
It's just very far from zone PvP that ussually includes a vararity of wierd broadcast conversations which sometimes makes you wish you rather were listning in on the Atlas Park broadcast..
I wish more people tried out PvP in the arena because it's not that different from PvEing with your friends, the goal is the same for most people,to have fun while playing the game with friends.
Ofcourse there isent much other reward, then fun to PvP and in some circles it tends to get more competetive, but in the end like with many other things you get out what you make of it.
Anyway I could only stay for a short while so when I d/c'ed I kinda did not bother to log back in,but was fun for the rounds I managed to stay for, even if I'm not sure I was awake or not -
I agree with mercury_down and Nanoob. I have a had an Elec/MM for awhile now,she has an io'ed out duel build.
I would say from my own experinces it's a good duel build and it has the potential to be a great one,but like some have mention it has it the obvious weakness if you miss DP on a target, a good player should be able to land DP on a held target tho.Or atleast use KB and try set it up that way,(hold procs makes this somewhat easier too.)
But like with most duel toons there has to be a good player behind it before you can really judge the real potential with a toon, maybe when/if more people makes elec/mm's you can tell how good it is but right now there dosent seem to be that many around.
I'm a duelist at heart but there is really hard to find duels these days..maybe when issue 14 goes open beta. -

Awesome list!
Can you go one step further and as an example for us all type out the bind or macro I'd use to switch over to my characters "woodsy" costume (costume #3) along with the nature lover badge (badge #197)?
Costume Slot #3 - Badge #197
Thanks!
[/ QUOTE ]
I am not very good at makeing macros & binds, but this should work
/Macro Woodsy "$$settitle,197$$cc,2"
/Bind <key> $$settitle,197$$cc,2
And this is an example if you want to trigger a power, set a badge title and change costume at the same time.
/Macro "Bluestuff" "local Gather for some bluestuff!$$settitle,113$$cc,3$$powexec_name Recovery aura"
Oh the costume slotts are:
Slott 1 = cc,o
Slott 2 = cc,1
Slott 3= cc,2
Slott 4 = cc,3 -

Correction: Received the Stalwart Medallion 126
I don't know what 129 is, as I don't seem to have it.
[/ QUOTE ]
I checked that with my toon and it was the badge 129 but, then I logged on my scrapper and she had it on number 126.
Abit wierd but I guess it has to do with the fact that I have used the Stalwart Medallion (respeced my toon) and activated/used that allcolade.
Because my scrapper haven't used any of her respecs and her badge number for stalwart was 126.
So maybe the numbers 126-131 are the same badges, but the number ID changes depending if you have used the respec allcolades/badges or not.(I know you get one of those yellow reward texts when you use one of those respecs at Jack wolf)
It would be easy to test if this is true or not, just go over to the testserver and poke abit on Jack Wolf and then see if the badge numbers are changed or not.
I would do it, but for some evil reason I can't use the test sever at the moment

Can you have badge titles for badges you haven't earned yet?
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh you have to have earned the badge to be abel to set it as a title.
So for an example if you haven't earned the "Cold warrior" badge you won't be abel to set it as a title, but somone who has earned it can just type /settitle 26 -
[ QUOTE ]
Just to be anal, because I'm insane about badges, you still have the rest of the X Times the Victor badges labeled as "non-implemented/non-working".
[/ QUOTE ]
lol well I was a bit sneaky with the wording
*= Badges that might not be possible to use as badge titles either because they are not implemented yet, or just don't have a badge title that works.
And the only X times Victor badges that do work with the /settitle command is the 10 times Victor badge, the others 1-9 times victor badges wont set a new badge title, it will just give you the message "your badge title has been cleared".
And that message always comes up either if you don't have the badge or if it doesnt have a title to be set.
Maybe it doesnt work with the 1-9 times Victor badges because of the fact they dont show up in your badge list or well just in the form of an allcolade called 10 times the victor. -
Thanks!
I edited my original post and filled those blanks.
Not sure how useful this is, but at least I have my new macro! that, activates a power changes my outfit and selects a badge title -
I kinda always wondered if it was possible to set a badge title without going via the badge option screen.
Always wanted a bind/macro that could execute a power, and at the same time changes the outfit and select a title suited for the outfit!
And the other day when I was reading the guide section on the Euro COH forum I found a guide called Setting badge Titles
In that post I found this command /settitle, apparently every badge has a number ID and if you know what number a certain badge has, you can type:/settitle followed by the number of the specific badge you want to use as a badge title.
So if you type this for an example: /settitle 0 that would give you the Burkholders Bane as a current badge title.
Since the EU guide wasnt complete I decided to log on my toon in COH and see if I could find any badges he had missed, I found some more but since I dont have all the badges(sigh!) I cant make a complete list.
But here is the list so farfeel free to add the missing badge numbers if you can lol)
