this is a bit that has always kinda got me upset. as someone from south africa we automatically normally fall into the "europe" category when it comes to gaming simply cause it makes sense since we are in the same timeline. so i went onto mmorpg.com and i see they are giving away promotional codes to unlock constumes for City of Heroes.. and i cant get one.. cause i dont live in europe or the states (not yet i will next year..) my point it why is it always like this ? why do the rest of the countries get screwed out of stuff like promotional codes with games ? our money is good enough to buy games but we are not allowed to take part in promotions ?? how does that work exactly?? i just think it's unfair and i am actually unhappy about how this is always handled. can staff from CoH please explain this to me ?

another question.. does your origin really make a diffirence in the powers you'll have access too ? doesnt really feel like it at the moment ?

wall of textonite!!! *cringe* lol thanx guys well i tried hero.. kinda felt weird to me.. so i made a villian. Toxic Infernal - Magic Corrupter. lvl 7 on Freedom server (which i njoy playing a lot now since i dont lag from downloading the rest of the game haha.. but tempted to make some sort of melee too.. just i cant make up my mind as so what his origins/powers should be. so many choices even in the free version. i can literally sit for more than an hour trying to get the perfect look for my hero/villian.

thanx. someone on that website should be fired then. busy downloading the game at the moment (might take a while on 384k adsl.. it's all i can afford at the moment in south africa.) but i'll get there. really excited to try this out. diablo 3 was a utter failure. so thinking a new genre might work.

according to MMORPG.com.. city of heroes is f2p... and city of villians has a $14.99 subsciption ?

why is heroes one free to play and the villians you have to pay to play ? someone explain this one to me pls
