Long time player here, not a poster. 3 50's on my account 5 more in high 30's, 19 more in high 20's 19 others. Also have a 40 mastermind on account. About the endurance discount. It does not benefit anyone. Its a bone they tossed to us players after they took away the steak.
It in no way offsets the endurance costs generated by the lowering of the accuracy of all powers across the board. After all 3 misses in a row against an even conned mob still uses more endurance then the three x 13.3% it saves since they all missed anyway. Had a fight today, earlier, where it was hit, miss, miss, miss, hit miss,miss, hit mob died. even con that is in spite of having every one of those attacks 3 slotted with damage and 2 accuracy so's lvl 35 at level 32. This is not an uncommon occurence. The fight used 60% of my endurance in spite having stamina 4 slotted with so's lvl 35. If the mob had conned yellow I would have missed more and hit for less damage because of enhancement diversification. I do not understand why it occurred and probably never will. I do understand its effects, however, and they make it tough to create and build a successful concept character. Unfortunately I have 46 concept characters so the changes have greatly reduced their survivability and their effectiveness. Positron the developers really need to start relying on player input more. In my supergroup on Virtue,(all my 50"s on different servers) there are 16 different Player Characters with 24 lvl 50's between them, and none are happy. Some like me, been playing the game since a month or two after it came out. Some have been there since the initial release and 1 or 2 have been there since you were testing the beta. In another SG on Guardian, none of the 50's have played since the last release. I have queried the developers and received no response to my question What paying character benefitted from the recent changes? My ice/elec blaster certainly has not. The character was 11 a week ago last friday and with rare exceptions has solo'd to 32 which was attained yesterday. Trying for 33 today. The changes have meant that as I come to the stage of the game where grouping is a necessary evil. (evil because I really don't like finishing a mission 12k in debt (happened yesterday in a team which is why teaming is a rare occurence)) I do less damage, miss more often, run out of stamina faster in spite of having the power stamina, and die much more quickly,(since tough no longer can be slotted to provide a squishy with some defense). Please give us some steaks instead of the 13.3% reduction in end cause on powers that now miss more then they hit.
