Here are my experiences and why it's sometimes not so funny to be the all-around supporter.
Well, after having played my Rad/Thermal to lvl 30 by now, I still enjoy her a lot. Although sometimes buffing is a real annoyance to me. I find myself buffing up 8 people with Fireshield (yes, I didn't take Radiationshield yet, because buffing without it already is a fulltime job) and having people die in the meantime because they won't wait to let me finish buffing up... But that might be every healers problem

I know I'm not a real healer, but people expect you to or why would they tell me asking "are you a healer?" or "do you heal?" before inviting me into the team.
Don't get me wrong, I picked this combination because of the debuffs and most versatile healing capabilities on Villain side. And I certainly don't mind healing because I enjoy playing support characters.
But due to the game mechanics which require you to stand still to buff, the short duration of the buffs (yes, I know there are even shorter ones

) and the sometime short area of effect I find it very difficult to play my char as I would like to.
So the soon to be respec drives me into a deep dilemma

Right now, I can get along alone rather well, and I don't have that much problems in smaller teams. But in big teams with high difficulty mishes it's sometimes very stressful...
I really don't want to miss most of my Damage Skills, but there are also some additional great skills in Thermal which I consider as essentials. But is it really necessary to have both shields? I mean keeping 8 people buffed up with 2 shields, Thaw on 3 people all the time, keep bosses debuffed with 2 debuffes, the occasional round of aoe debuffs and keep everyone alive with Warmth, Cauterize and Aid Other... well I think thats no fun playing anymore
Or did I simply not get the point in being a Corruptor?

(playing this game for approx. 5 weeks now)
