I've just rolled one and I like it so far. Fire has a good single target attack chain that works great with Static Field. The AoE's are best saved for teams and/or when you have Synaptic Overload confusing a group.

I was not trying to imply that they were not. I meant the fluid Lego look of the shields in the movie. That was an image that stuck with me from my childhood and the Ice Armors have always reminded me of it.

Quote:I have several temporal themed characters. I usually go for the obvious Kinetic route and/or some form of Ice. I usually explain the Ice Blasts as a form of "Temporal Shearing" that can cut/selectively stop an objects molecular motion.Anyone have any ideas for what would be good to simulate the ability to control time?
I find this kind of explanation to be particularly effective for my Ice Armor Tank. The shields remind me of the personal forcefields from David Lynch's Dune while Chilling Embrace and Icicles are the temporal warp/fractal tearing (respectively) that is happening around him.
Granted, I've never been able to work Ice Control into this concept. Too much snow. -
Just remember that the markets are connected across servers so you can do a market trade to transfer some cash between characters even between servers.
In case you are unaware of how to do so I will elaborate...
Have your poor character purchase some low level TO that is rarely used/slotted (I find Intangibility/Interupt/To-Hit Reduction to be the best) and put it up for sale on Wentworths/the Black Market. Make sure that there are no other bids/sales listed for that item. Note the last few sales on the market and how much they were then log out.
Log into your Sugar Daddy on the other server and go to the market. Look up whatever item your other character put up for sale. Make sure that there is only One item for sale. This should be the one your poor charater put up. Be aware that it can take a min or two for the item to show. Check the last few sales of the item. Make sure that they are the same as what you saw on the poor character. If they are identical then purchase the TO for whatever amount you wish to transfer.
Log back into your recently poor character on the other server and he should have the proceeds from the sale. The only limitation is that the reansfer has to be between two heores or two villains.
Hope that helps. -
That is an elegant little tutorial on a power that I gave never actually seen in use. I might even try squeezing it into a dual build to give it a spin.
Thank you. -
Glad to see you got around to posting this Crim. This is beautiful insight for new Stalkers.

This is an excellent guide. Educational and entertaining. You covered all the bases, both Pros and Cons. I thank you good sir.

Just a little nitpick here, but your Endurance Cost numbers for Dark Embrace, Murky Cloud, and Obsidian Shield are all a little bit off. They cost 0.12 End/tick, which is every half a second. The actual End Cost should be 0.24 End/second.
Good guide though. I'm surprised there hasn't been more support for the Dark/Dark Tanks in the guide type area. I'm working on one right now and enjoying it immensely. -
I thank you for this. I tend to avoid leadership/recruiting on teams because I hate all the typing and I haven't really looked too deep into macros/binds.
You, good sir, may have turned that around for me.
