this issue is terrible besides the Super Booster
i don't get why they are putting it up at all

Not that bad, cool to see the return of some old foes, and more faces, this is a really good issue, not the greatest ever, but not garbage as you seem to think

the tf makes no sense and is filled with holes, from what I hear it's still lolpvp, and the costumes from the last time I looked at them still had glitches and didn't match at points, unless this has been fixed. The new faces are alright, but I'd rather have a task-force that makes sense heroside rather than throwing 4 AVs with Reichsman and a bunch of other weird plot points and call it a day, and a little bit more work on the one villainside to make it better.
this issue would be far better with some polish to it; if the only praise you have for it is "return of old foes and some faces" then I doubt it's gonna be a "really good issue", considering the other past content issues have added whole new zones with a far smaller team, but I'll right that off as the game being younger and the devs being more in-touch with the smaller and more tight-knit community
you don't even mention the Super Booster which imo is the best part of the whole thing, even though you have to buy it to experience it; so many character designs could be accomplished with the whole "different costume slots can have Male/Female/Huge" aspect of it.

If you've been playing for more than two years, then you'll understand why this issue is so important to the canon of CoX. The return of the Column is huge! Yes, yes, it was in the ITF, but not as a "holy crap, they're back and in player missions" villain group.
If all you're interested in is new toys to play with, then I'm sorry you're having to pay more for the Science Super Booster as it sounds like what you're more interested in experiencing, and I can see how that's not fair to you. For the rest of us old-timers, though, this is kind of a huge deal. And TFs get tweaked all the time. The Jade Spider used to not do anything but wait to be shot... -
As you can see by my incredibly enormous post count, I'm a man who doesn't feel the need to say much. But I will say this:
For all of you who have constantly complained and moaned about how "My favorite AT isn't set up exactly the way I want it!", you need to step back and realize that you can't even run a Starbucks with 15 people. Think about your job and how well it'd go if you had a staff of 15, including management. The fact that the game didn't sink or tread water shows that these guys (and ladies) cared enough about us to try and give us what we wanted while still trying to figure out how to get us to the next stage in the storyline. So, to the "my pvp sux cuz i cant run 8 toggles and one-shot kill nubs" and "this sux wow is so much cooler cuz of loot and invetions sux and im so much cooler than you suxxors", may I give out a hearty and heartfelt, shut it. If you honestly think that you and 14 other people you know can crank out a game that engages, entertains, and still manages to look better than CoX, then by all means, go ahead. I'll file you next to Archlord, Vanguard, Matrix Online, Star Wars Galaxies, and the other 15-20 MMOs that have come and gone.
The devs have not only made and updated a truly amazing game, but they took time to answer our questions, ponder our what-ifs, tempted us with pie, and still managed to make me want to come back time and again. So, thanks, folks. Thanks for answering the PMs while you were rendering. Thanks for posting on the forums while you were poring over tiny numbers on giant spreadsheets. Just thanks.
Okay, I'm done. I have to try and solo a villain to 50 around a 4 year old, which isn't easy... -

One other things I noticed, I think that elec/* brute used a temp power earned from the mayhem mission. In one part of the video he throws a fireball at a PPD guy.

That's actually a patron power, from Scirocco. It's called Mu Blast. Also, the Lightning Rod power is a two-parter. The PC calls a bolt of red lightning from the sky, causing him to teleport. When he reappears, a PBAoE effect happens, causing an arc from one person to the next (possibly, I could be mixing that up with something else entirely on the chain effect). You target the ground where you want to go, like Teleport, and when you arrive, you blast the holy bejeezus out of everyone. -
Okay, I'm chiming in for all the badge hounds...well, most of them...okay, some of them...fine, just me, dang it. Is there a possibility of the Hordelings and Hellfrosts making their way over to City of Heroes? Some of us got wrapped up in real life toward the end of the Valentine's Day event and are sitting with an almost full (5 kills away) bar from getting Coldhearted. So...yeah, if that's in there, then I'll personally mail you some Mexican wedding cookies that are homemade...as soon as my wife makes some more...

Okay, here's my two cents worth...
1. Powerman 5000 - Danger Is Go!
2. Tool - Intermission
3. Black Sabbath - A Hard Road
4. Nine Inch Nails - The Day The World Went Away
5. Stone Temple Pilots - Sex Type Thing
6. Mudvayne - Nothing To Gein
7. Kid Rock - Only God Knows Why (guess what's leaving the hard drive tonight?)
8. Sevendust - Denial
9. Puddle of Mudd - She Hates Me (last time I let a teenager on this computer...)
10. Korn - Blind
That's a random sampling from 10,496 tracks which, if left to its own devices, could play for 707 hours...or 29.45 days. I've got to finish putting my collection on here one of these days...
