    Hi all, and excuse me if I'm not approaching this properly. I had an interest for an RP in game and on the forums here that I was interested in exploring. Nothing too unique, actually. I just wanted for a couple of people and myself to make young characters of around the same age and RP them as they form a coven together and slowly learn magic. I figured it'd be most interesting if all the characters had history together, linked past and relationship. Much in the same way as the characters from the movie "The Covenant".

    Basically IC it can go anywhere as they discover the different aspects of magic, maybe get tempted by dark magic, and grow older. I figure we start off as children and as we get bored, or decide it's time age them up to the next chapter in their lives.

    I think it'd be both forum RP and in game. Would anyone be interested?

    Hmm, thanks for the advice. I didn't really look at it that way but it is quite sensible. My characters are all still there, I'll contact support about how to improve my security.

    Contact support either by telephone or a ticket and see what they can do for you. They may be willing to change it for you, especially since it could sound kinda dirty if you really have a twisted mind(like I do)

    Aha, I'm afraid of what types of thoughts that would trigger. But Thank you, hopefully they will. Is there a forum specific ticket area or is this with he normal PlayNC support area?

    Yeah, that's actually exactly what I was thinking. After it told me my account was already tied to an account, I went to the forgot password area where they old me that they made some change to make the account info linked. I'm glad you said that, I began to become worried.

    Now, after I saw the name, however, I did exactly what you did and tried to log off and back on, hoping for an error. There was no difference though, I was still named Pink puddle. I'll try PMing someone when I figure out who I should PM.

    Hey thanks, I'll PM them and tell them about my problem. If not a simple name change would be simple enough, I can change all other account info.

    Haha, well yeah those were the three I was thinking. But..

    1.) This was the one I immediately thought initially. Oh crap, my account was hacked but after posting my request for help, I saw that it was the first post to my account. If they went through the trouble of hacking me, wouldn't it make sense for them to have made a post? Then again, why hack my forum name?

    2.) I never gave my information out but I suppose its possible that someone got it, my account password really is terrible, but again I would have expected more havok from someone who does all of that. How does someone randomly go about something like that anayway?

    3.) This is the one that to my knowledge makes the most sense but also seems least likely. I really and truly don't like the color pink. (ha) And I'd liek to think I have a better taste in names. If I did do it way back when, I sure don't remember doing it or know why I would.

    I was wondering if it was possible for accounts to be crossed. It was in fact my game info put in so i didn't accidently log into someone elses. As far as character-wise, that all seemed to be accounted for. I used to be quite the alt-monster though so I admit it'd be hard to keep track. Nevertheless, I saw I think all of my characters there. Though yesterday I did notice my characters were lacking any enhancements in their slots, a team member reminded me of respecs which I knew was pretty likely. So all in all, I think that account was undisturbed. Maybe it was 3, idk. Just hoping it wasn't. XD

    I've just returned to the COX games about a week ago and I was hoping to dive into activity and really integrate with the community this time around. None of that is really important though, what is of my concern is that when I tried to register an account just now, it said my actual game account was already in use. At first I wondered if I might have made an account before now and forgot about it but after signing in with that information, I discovered that the email account did not match any of mine and that the user-name "Puddles of Pink" doesn't sound like anything I would have ever chosen. Anyone have any idea what may have occurred?
