  1. As promised, here's the new configuration. right now I'm running +1/x3 in solo missions with few problems. *grumbles about ring mistresses.*

I haven't found boxing to be all that irritating at all, the redraw for claws is not frustrating at all....now on broadsword, that redraw is a witch!

Follow up has been ok, Noticable but not amazing...though doing over 200 damage with slash, focus and eviscerate makes things dead fast.

Fast healing will come at level 38, I want all the defence I can afford going into the 40s.
  2. Thanks for the advice so far, I respec'd and hit 35. I took spin and follow up. I'll post of my new build tomorrow, but thanks everyone for the claws advice.
  3. I've been playing Co* for a long time with some account deactivations here and there, but I've always enjoyed this game furiously. I've never been able to get that into villains until recently however.

This just might be the villain I can get up to 50, I know claws has issues with Lethal resists, but even then he feels like a rabid badger with a chainsaw! I love pulling an entire group around a corner and eviscerating them all. Right now he's at 33 and I see nothing stopping him.

This isn't much of a post, just a "I love my Brute" rave, but Here's my build if anyone wants to comment or just see the secret of my fun. (I' don't have much infamy at the moment so just plain ol SO's slotted. If anyone has suggestions for IO's I should look out for later that would be much obliged!))

    I5

Two issues have poped up in I5 that im not happy with.

The first problem is the change to Invulneribility is way out of proportion. if its not smashing/lethal damage coming at you, then you are going to drop...FAST. Fire, and Stone(post granit) do not have this problem, becuause thier Energy, Neg. Energy, Fire and cold(save fire) resists are more than double what INV.
unless the element/energy resist are brought up to 50-60%, Inv will not be as good as tanking as the Fire and stone.

Second problem, the stealth nerf (there is no other word for it) to Enervating field. Frankly, your team owes an apology to the players who spent countless time checking and rechecking their numbers to make sure they were right, and for months, your team told them they were wrong.

Those are my issues with I5.

Every Archetype should be extremely happy when the Defender provides a resistance or defense buff...

Ok, but when its a little south of required that a peticular AT has that buff to do their job, thats a problem. (im certainly not saying that the buff IS required for a certain AT to do there job, but its darned close to it)
