So there was drama last night? :/
-
Well, I was kidding when I said it, but that really is my own, personal desire for league match days/times. I didn't consult my own team about it or anything and post that trying to get support, if that's what you're asking. But yeah, I'm always a "maybe" on Saturday nights.

Agreed. I second the motion to DQ Peril's seizure-inducing avatar. -81 points as well. Also, all league matches to be played Tuesday night @ 9:00PM Eastern. Discuss.

Cat fight!!! Meow, meow, rawr! I got the winner! :P

gl hf GDHRT (What's that stand for, btw?)

Those were some crazy rounds-pretty evenly matched there. GGs

Sorry. That offer expired like 2 weeks ago.
I'm patching Test to see if my copies worked. I was just now able to select all the servers, see characters choices, and got the message that they were copying, so we'll see. -

I see this is still broken. I'll check again in another few months.

That's good news. I see you guys are in first place now, btw, Philly. Congratz on that.

It's nice to log in and not find any vote requests in my inbox. And did Oz and/or his team decide to stay? Oh, and are we fighting anyone this week-not sure about my plans atm.

Quote:ty Yeah, we're pretty calm for the most part...except for Pixel. That dude rages like 24-7. Oh, and our team is starting a side competition for most matches missed during this league. I think Lib's putting some bbq pork up for prizes, though I'm not sure how well it'll keep through December. Pixel and Mebs are falling behind by actually showing up to all our matches so far. lol@themOn a side note I posted on dUmb's forums about joining one of their forming teams beause they have the best PvP attitude, everyone could learn by their attitude and sportsmanship. They where always my favorite team to go against in the league because win or loose you where bound to have fun. I am a complete and total liability to my team and they still play me and like me so A&C rocks

Sorry I couldn't make it last night, so our team had to go without me and Lib. Take comfort in knowing that I did the CoH in-game dances irl in honor of you guys. Sadly, I think those moves were better received than my others-guess my running man and cabbage patch skills have faded a little.
The points system...I don't care. If we show up for matches, we should be fine. If everyone likes the new system and wants to make points retroactive, that's cool...if not, that's cool too. I can see why some teams want it one way or the other. I'm not concerned with yellow titles and t-shirts or whatever we'd win, so the only thing I really care about is if the rules encourage people to stupidly go for ties.
And that brings me to this latest vote. Okay, I'm all for hating on ties, but whoever asked for this vote didn't think about some possible scenarios: like if both teams bring weak damage and strong support, thinking they might get lucky and score a kill...or if teams are forced to play similarly ineffective line-ups because of a particular night's attendance, etc. What are you going to do, replay 0-0 rounds until someone just throws in the towel and goes to bed? I voted against the no-tie rule solely because of these possibilities. Look, I hate ties and when people play for them, but rules need to take into account the "what if" scenarios. If I had a better idea on how to take ties out of the equation, I'd shout it out for sure. -
I was trying to figure the votes out myself. From the posts here, I would assume Artic, Kara, and your team (Bud is captain, right?) all voted to not limit healers, meaning the proposal wouldn't have passed (since I obviously voted to not limit). There are a couple of other captains here that I would've certainly thought would've voted that way as well, so I'm scratching my head here.

Quote:I thought the matches had been pretty good up until now too...which is why I'm asking why people think a healer cap is needed.all matches has been pretty good and except ties that happen last week. Which the point system has been change. Which solve the problem. U freedom peeps need to stop assuming that teams aiming for tied or setting up for ties.
And I'm from Infinity-most of dUmb is-and the only thing we're assuming is that people are voting for something without fully understanding the consequences. -
I don't know what kind of drama you guys have had here in the past, and if that is creating illogical votes or whatever, but I can tell you with 100% certainty that limiting our team to 1 healer (or 2 with 4v4 or 5v5) is not going to make things more difficult for us. It irritates me, because it forces us to play toons that we've played so much in the past, instead of offering a bit of a challeng by playing dual-role toons. Anyway, for teams like us that know how to take advantage of a healer cap, this will likely just make our line-ups a bit boring...and result in our future matches not turning out too well for others.
-
Well, for you other 4 captains that voted to keep unlimited stalkers, let us know if any of you change your mind. Otherwise, I'd at least like to hear why you like unlimited stalkers.
-
I'm fine with public captain proposals/votes. I figured Kat was just trying to keep votes organized by doing it through PM's here. I generally just post her message to my teammates and get a general consensus before replying with our vote anyway.
I don't see a good solution to the multi-healer issue other than making fun of teams that soley play for ties. We've given our reasons for voting against the proposed healer bans, and I think our reasoning makes sense...but I haven't read anything from the 5 captains that voted to keep 3+ stalkers as an option. What were you guys thinking? -
I sent in our vote. I'm with Lib in that I think we can live with a 2-healer limit, 3v3 to 5v5; however, a 1-healer limit essentially punishes players that are attempting to play dual-role toons such as my son/pain and Lib's son/therm. If you watch our matches and/or check the scores, you can see that we're not interested in playing defensively for ties.
