Cry said only a few words, "I like him." Scarlet Eye was a beast and at most times irrational but rational. "Get him out of my sight, a drained Mu sickens me." The Fortunas dragged the Mu out of the room and Cry formulated his plan, his attention at the growing energy in Kings Row.
Cry didn't want to penetrate the bubble of psychic energy that engulfed Kings Row, he did not have the time or effort. He knew that Scarlet Eye was facing agaisnt a demi-god of sorts. Snuggled in the arms of Dead Aim, his mind ventured within the battle from that of Scarlet Eye seeing past the time distortion. He relayed the next few seconds to Scarlet Eye.
I am here The giggles reverberated through Scarlet Eye, Cry was within the jumbled messes of defenses and networks that Scarlet Eye had put up, but the backflow seemed to short circuit those defenses allowing such a easy penetration.
I will do no harm, I want to watch. -
Statesman: He can solo GMs, well I can... do that to! *whine
-
((occ: lol sorry I get quite lazy!))
Cry quickly came up with a excuse as Dead Aim turned away, "I am ensuring my stay within Arachnos, Malak. I am not a person to be trifled with." Dead Aim started to walk off Cry putting the blanket around him.
Cry didn't want to talk to Malak anymore he was tired.
Get me a Mu. The message echoed to the Fortunta who quickly responded with whispers of yes. It wasn't until he heard the clanking of chains and the door opening to the makeshift office did Cry whisper orders, strong orders, ones that would enhance the Mu Mystic's powers ten-fold to see what Cry couldn't see.
Look... for the elementals... Scarlet Eye, peer, see, watch, I need to know. The Mu Mystic didn't hesitate to seek what it needed.
((occ: TeChameleon you can take over the mystic)) -
Dead Aim looked up his mindless look changing to a smile unnatural to his face. A hand came up from the blanket and Dead Aim held it rubbing his thumb through the palms of the baby. "Which part?" Cry then resorted to his psychic to retell what had happened while he was gone, then from various others around the entire base he stole insight, Imad might of felt alittle pinch from the cross fire of information taken.
"O... it is unfortunate that I was unable to... control myself." He giggled silently to himself, "I know that we do not tolerate failure and that someone must take the blame. Daddy wouldn't mind this tussle." Cry then came from the blanket his head looking Malak.
"How is poor Ghost Widow, has she passed yet from reality to me?" He smiled, the thought of having the ghost of such immense power return to the realm he over saw made him shiver with excitement. He tried to change the subject to something less touchy, he remembered Malak's affection for Ghost Widow, and it must of been hard to know that every day Ghost Widow slowly faded away. -
The villain known as Dead Aim was part of the intelligence sector, he was in charge of finding Cry and delivering a message to him. "Lt. Cry! What happened?"
"In attempt to play I let down my guard and suppressed myself to far. My playground has gone amok, I need to reorganize my toys." Dead Aim was surprised at the condition of the child, he noticed a bump on his face.
"You are hurt..." Cry tried to touch his nose but is flexibility as a child was limited.
"Give me the teleporter, I took a straight blow from a enhanced Archon, some kind of physic blackout turned the favors agaisnt me and I was unable to sense the change." His hands were over the red pad as he entered a code. Dead Aim touched Cry as the teleporter activated as they both were transported to a infirmary within the base.
"My original intention in seeking you was to deliver a message that Scirocco is coming to the Fortress. But I am lucky that I..."
"Do not speak of this, now pick me up." Dead Aim hesitated knowing what would happen next.
Cry raised a eyebrow, "well?" Dead Aim shuttered and went to pick him up.
"Yes, as you wish." He touched Cry and instantly he was dominated by the hold of Cry. A blanket materialized and Dead Aim wrapped it around Cry as he started to slumber.
I am but a tool for you Scarlet Eye. Use me, use us, together nothing can stop us, nothing. Cry desperately needed someone who could look out for him. Scriocco has Ice Mistral, Mako has Barracuda , Black Scorpion has Silver Mantis, and even Ghost Widow had Wretch. He needed not just a bodyguard but someone to learn from, a relationship that was both beneficial for both of them. -
The kick surprised him. How could he not see it, he had seen it before just minutes before knowing every single move. That stupid physic interruption must of disrupted his hinted chance, but even then fate was set unless some other realm intertwined. "The Shadow Shard was sealed... unless someone or something was hidden within."
That does it! He looked within himself and beaconed himself. "My new found playmate, where ever you are I have a task that we shall dwell together on, put aside our past conflict and think of it as an assessment of your power. This haven for our pawns has been overrun, their isn't enough room for the true chess pieces in this game. I will await for your response my second Eye."
He floated and wiped the now crystallized dust off his face the stinging of it still penetrating. He shifted and the foreign substance fell of his face. He looked up and saw a flying figure who seemed to have watched the fight. "You there!" His voice amplified one hundred times by his psychic. "I order you to give me your transporter to base." He was using his physical eyes and that of a baby's eyes were only 120/20 such that the figure was foggy.
He scanned the figures mind and quickly picked up a name. "Dead Aim it is? Help me, I need to rest, Cry needs to rest."
((edited!)) -
"I may be notable for my skill, but it is my Eye that I am most known for." The seed that was within the Archon allowed Cry to see through the eyes of the Archon. "They may be out for my blood, but not even a mystic can see as far ahead as I can and use it in battle." Cry hinted his victory in battle, the Archon had to retreat if Cry still wanted to play.
Cry went with the leg and grabbed it, in that moment inhumanely for his size and supposed age he was up at the head of the Archon and smiled. "Let me fiddle with this thing you call a brain." The physic fuzz no longer bothered him and he put his full mental effort into a concentrated section of his fingers that were planted firmly on the temporal and frontal lobes of the head.
"Think of it as a temporary lobotomy my toy, a punishment. Because now there is a new enforcer in these parts, I am laying down my hands, it is now a toyland for girls and boys." He laughed as he pulled the song from his own memory and placed it inside the Archon in a continous loop.
"Toy land, toy land, little boy and girl land, while you dwell within it, you are very happen then. Childhood's joyland, mystic merry toyland! Once you pass its borders, you can ne'er return again."
((occ: ^erie just remembered it. Not to be overpowered, but I am coming to fruitation with my character that Arachnos like the OP says is all controlling and loans out space to "payers" and such Arachnos has its strongest "landlords" and the landlord enforces.)) -
Cry snapped his knuckles, something a baby shouldn't be able to do. His hand made a erratic twist and wave, "I learned this from an ole' friend." Several bodies on the ground convulsed and straightened, then a small orb flew up and gathered around Cry.
"I wouldn't call it Soul Storm, for now see what it does." Cry arched his head back and grunted forward as the orbs followed and twisted along with him being propelled. The volley of the last blasts bounced off his shield and he put it down momentarily to let the attack initiate.
"Soul Seekers!"The orbs flew across and collided with anything living, and the unfortunate ones twice. Most War-Wolfs stopped in their tracks and started to clasp their bodies a dieing howl as the Seeker ate at their body and soul. The War-Wolf went to howl when purple light shone out of every opening in its body and it convulsed and died.
Most of the War-Wolfs were dead and Cry was about to put up his shield when it wouldn't respond. "Arachnos... listen... gone... silence..." He heard these whispers as they echoed across his mindscape. Cry went to put up his arm to end this, but he hard a time moving it alone.
"Quite unfortunate Archon that I won't be able to kill you by my own hands. Something is causing a temporal fuzz that inhibits my powers at the moment. If you haven't noticed, we only use Kheldians as ship fuel anymore not weapons." Cry cringed and tried to move more his body still suspended in air.
The Mech-man below were aiming, not even firing, the physic shockwave was strong enough to cause some short circuiting. "Guardian, protect."
Rubble erupted and the invisible hulked crouched ready to jump. "Don't... let him... touch me." A gust of air signaled that it had jumped at the Archon.
Cry was going over plans, the Seers had seen what he had seen. Though Cry was an excellent fortune-teller it was unlike the Seers to see an accurate future like he did and they had just accomplished this task. 'I only wish they understood the riddles.' -
"Unlike you, I have yet to show all of my potential. You Archon's are all the same since that diseased orginaization called the Council has made you clones off one another. I have twisted your own ranks into a ironic mockery of its state as it is today, just a few of you left and it is no threat to me."
Cry launched and brought forth the invisible hands to grab the Archon firmly this time by the legs. "How does your mind taste Archon, like that of my sweet mother's milk?" The Archon was let go from the hands as some sort of seed was implanted into the mind of the Archon.
"All I needed at first was to touch you, to become you. You Archon's maybe secure from a frontal assault, but backdoors are always unlocked."
Cry was within the mind of the Archon and saw and knew what the Archon knew. "I just need skin contact that is all, that nice cut on your leg did nicely, did you ever think of the revibrations from my shield?"
((occ: Is this a npc controlled for some insignifacant amount of time, or is this a main of yours sov?)) -
Cry's face went into pain as the bubble held, his eyes aglow with pink energy sustaining the bubble. The bubble had nearly ripped, but the energy feeding it kept it from tearing and allowed it to bend. Still the kinetic run through of the kick was enough to send the ball slamming to the ground.
Cry turned around inside the bubble looking at the Archon. "Don't be stupid, your death is inevitable." The ground started to crunch and and a smile formed on the face of Cry, and then black blood trickled from his nose. "I said your death was inevitable."
Cry put forward his hands and flew off the ground at a amazing speed catching the Archon in air in a grip hold of psychic hands much like the guardian below. Cry twirled around the hands following and let go sending the Archon below to a cloud of dust. -
((occ: Wawawa! shenanigans! It was a NPC created by me! Its strength at the moment wasn't very strong since Cry's interrogations. Anyway its invul, he should of been granite.))
-
"They have been built by you Archon, but like all that is on this planet it is but the essence of the Earth. Besides what fun is destroying a mind when I can squeeze the contents with my hands?" Cry laughed as the blasts slid down the physic shield that surrounded him.
Once again the ground trembled as a invisible formed materialized, a hulk of a physic manifestation. "The guardian has been called my friends..."
"I find this fight quite in my favor Archon Frenzk, though as you might notice and agreed to under the agreements of the Contract of the Abator, a nuisance or any threat agaisnt Arachnos is punishable under death. With my authority I can make the punishment as of... now."
A sudden movement and one of the Mech Man was lifted off the ground and crushed, spilling hydraulic fluid and oil over a terror now covered in physical liquid. Its size nearly the size of a small tank, and a small detached spherical head with a now glowing red single eye. The liquid now covered detached titanic arms holding the crushed Mech Man.
"Can you fight a thing that is present only in the mind of its maker?" Cry laughed and started to float higher into the air to avoid melee contact. -
((occ: I want to add to the story that Recluse is fighting on a eastern front agaisnt the rising rebellions in Europe, since the invasion was largely unsuccessful in tearing down some of the major super groups, his presence is only minimal in Paragon as he feels it secured. But, now the internal squabbles of the inner Lts. has only increased with Cry's position and corruption is largely tolerated within Cry's own department as long as it is in his control))
Cry's rampage was fraught with anger as his power increased. He nearly missed it, just in time the bullet stopped before him just a foot away. He smiled, but then the bullet exploded, a incinderary round. The explosin wrapped around a small bubble that formed around Cry, crisping agaisnt his undead flesh.
Metal and rubble started to rise, they started to spin and build force until flung at the spot the sniper was. "Bring one forward that can play with me!"

His tracks gridded across the ground as his tail revealed a glowing talsorian blade he installed after the Rikti Civil War, the light across the room showed he tail penetrate the hero through the head as it went limp and the tail retracted as the body was flung to the wall denting it.
He rode forward pushing aside several Bane Spiders, though his intention was to kill, the Bane Spiders were about to take the blunt blow of combined Psychic Shockwaves from several Night Widows. -
((occ: will take on BS npc, though I plan to kill him off.))
Black Scorpion cursed that the Skyraiders were not able to fulfill the job, though now he understood Cry didn't like surprises and would over judge situations that could clearly come to his advantage in the future. "Is the base clear at least commander?"
The Bane Spider Excuetioner looked up and nodded no. "Cry is gone, but it seems one of our mercaneries acted in retalition. Cry has deemed him a non-combatant so files have been dropped from him."
"Strange, Cry seems to like this fellow, but we will do our best on our side to file charges of insubordination. What hostiles are left?"
"I don't know how to say this but there are five heroes within the building heading in this direction and several rouge Mu and Fortuntas." The Bane Spider had just got this information as the physically charged heroes came through the first barrier to the lab of Black Scorpion.
"Your dead Cry, good as dead! Call for help!" The room grew with frenzy as the prepared for the heroes arrival.
"Can't the communications are jammed, we can only see outside and recieve info I can't send it!" The Bane Spider brought up his mace and charged it.
Black Scorpion cursed as his armor powered up, the new modifications to it since the war were more of a disability due to the damages done to his body during Lord Recluse's siege on Paragon. His legs were now tank treads and he was more armored then ever before.
"Bring it on Cry, send your goons to take me on."

((occ: yeah Cry is playing godzilla with the landscape, he is still pent up about today's eariler struggle and needs to let his rage out. no post just conintue on and anyone who wants to engage do so.)) -
Cry hated to be ignored, but he realized that he wasn't the center of attention anymore. He let go of the physic link and the world shifted back into the Arachnos transports. He opened his white eyes and fussed about how Steel Canyon had and would always be a dead zone for combat and fun. Cry got out of his blanket and started to float mid-air.
"If I can't draw the heroes here, I will force them." The transport started to groan and then fell several feet as a giant weight materialized into tangibility. The door to the landing craft fell forward and a invisible hulk walked out. Cry was busy his eyes closed seeing through his psychic eye.
The air around Cry fuzzed and hissed with psychic energy gathering, a channal was being made between him and the Eye. His eye opened in a flare of pink substance, draining like a unclogged drain. He put his hand out, targeting through the vista of his hand and then clasped it in a small fist of the baby.
The leaning building already injured by a energy transfer attack from a brute on energy crack exploded in a blink of a eye. The aura of psychic energy illuminated the sky and Cry laughed as the rumble came crashing in a kinetic tumble of gravity.
"WARNING! WARNING! GROUND BARRIER BREACHED!" Inside the pits of the Bastion just dust came from the ceiling from the collapsed building and the after shock of the psychic energy. Any explosin worthy of notice brinked alarm and for any free hero to check the surface from a scout point in the distance.
"Estimated damage: barrier crack."

Cry was focusing another attack on a more structurally strong building. "Boom!" The building did the same as the last and vaporized into construction scrape. -
Cry was confused, he was outside Arachnos patrols and other factions just waiting sleeping scanning slowly across the area. He couldn't get over the silence in a particular area. He started to rise suspicion and started to increase his physic output trying to peer pass the veil that grew stronger as he peered in.
His suspicion grew into curiosity and he peered harder forgetting that he was monitoring his physic levels. He then felt a sudden backlash from the veil as it moved across the entire zone enveloping it in darkness. "Whoever you are I will break you!" Cry opened his mouth a sudden light of pink energy erupting from it, the Fortuana holding him held Cry out as Cry poured physic energy filling the veil.
He was everywhere in the veil, he couldn't see, hear, or touch but he felt the presence of hundreds of beings. "What the..," then he was shut out by a cascade of red emotion, a phantasm blurred his vision, it drew him into some reality as he was part of the chaos. His form shifted the mold of the room of horrors focusing around him.
"What is the Netherrealm doing here, control yourselves!" The room of horrors became organized now shifting away and parting to reveal a man in fear. "Who are you, one who dwells in a realm of shadows?" Cry was staring at the body of Marty, Cry existed only in this realm as long as the Tombstone's grip over Marty held, Cry was intrigued at what was happening, though now the commotion stopped as he was here.
"Tell me your name?" Cry was now lost in this bubble of chaos. "Come out of this shell and we shall fight this together?" Cry was trying to trick Marty, trying to make him talk. -
Cry picked up stray thoughts and ideas from those which he didn't bother to read. This era in this world had weeded out the Super Heroes from the Demigods. Feirce compeition on the Villain side had caused all if not most to either group together or be destroyed and then those who were to powerful to be eliminated were left alone.
The Hero side has been hunted since Lord Recluse claimed North America for his own and the conquest of Eurasia began. Now the strongest were left to deal, and Cry felt a rising war, and he was prepared to reap the benefits.
Cry wasn't actually born into existence, he was always there and forever was. It came upon a point in time that he was commanded into the world by the withering mind of Ghost Widow. Lord Recluse was to busy on the Eastern Warfront where rebellion of supers had begun. Cry was doing his best as head of intelligence and information he had kept this movement away from the prying eyes of the former Paragon for nearly seven months.
Not a word came from Lord Recluse in the Isles not even the Arbiters knew of his absence. It was perfect if things were right, if Cry was right by his fortunes, "a statue of knowledge shall fall and a shadow shall take its place." The fortune was easy enough to read but it drew two possibilities. Would it be that Cry's own shadow shall take his place or that of Steel Mantis.
Cry woke from a juggle in the landing craft, "don't worry my master, just a drop." He closed his eyes the transport now in the center of steel at a slow crawl, this transport had to trigger an alert somewhere. -
((occ: yeah BS isn't there just a hologram communicator.))
BIC:
Cry was frustrated to the point where he couldn't fall asleep. "I wanna play. Send a convoy through Steel Canyon, make it as loud as possible..." Cry's thing was to set up traps and it was something he was learning to do well.
The Night Widow and Cry came to a hanger full of Fliers and other transports. Cry decided to take on the landing gear that initially was used to invade the Americas. Shaped like a wedge and heavily armored in front and back, and could possibly carry a battalion of Arachnos troops or some sort of weapon Daddy made up. He required three and several fliers, along with a small group of Initiates to Arachnos, what Arachnos called its beginning villains since the Chosen One had... failed Lord Recluse.
"As requested Lt. Cry three Heavy Landers, 2 Fliers, and a requested... meat fodder." Cry chuckled as the ships lined up as the hanger door opened.
"Head through Steel Canyon and make sure your presence is known." Cry laid back into his blanket the Night Widow was holding and immediately scouted the zone with his mind for any heroes.
He didn't want to meet Scarlet Eye again this day, that would ruin his fun, but if Scarlet Eye were ever in the Commissioning Office he would fine a hefty sum of money and a invite for a tutor. -
Cry couldn't win he would have to negotiate. "You have won this time Scarlet Eye, but neither of us shall take today as a victory." Cry stopped squirming and closed his eyes, his body became transparent and intangible. Cry neutralized his own physic energy and that of Scarlets negating both of their efforts to win. He had created a physic blackout in the area, leaving a good amount of Night Widows and others blind.
"If you shall retreat I will do to, but do not awaken the inner conscience that is my weapon." Cry grimaced at the thought of losing, though he reassured himself that he was young and that as before many of Daddy's servants had retreated and come back.
The Night Widow was guided by Cry through the door into the spreading hallway and then down a elevator carefully eclipsing his retreat. "I didn't lose did I?"
The Night Widow looked down and shaked her head no. "I didn't think so, he was strong, too strong. I want to make sure he doesn't listen on to Daddy's big plans, but I want to learn from him. His physic mastery is at its fullest and mine has only just begun, I can't reach my potential until my mind develops!" -
Cry squirmed in the Night Widow's arm he was about to cry. The Night Widow tried to hush Cry to calm him down. A demonic voice spread through the minds of every mystic, physic and any potential listener on the physic plane, "I got what I wanted when my eye gloomed over your past. Just let me touch your mind and lets see how vast you can fill my mind." Cry was leading him into a trap.
"Just let me touch you..." Cry felt the presence over his shoulder and grabbed with his mind as it evaporated in physic energy, Cry screened his physic energies to expand feeling everything Scarlet Eye had set out.
"Let me touch you." Cry like Ghost Widow used the power of souls to do bidding for his attacks, the reason for his physic power was that he himself was a mini-gateway for all spiritual and physic energy. Any who dared to peer into his own physic network would only look into themselves and a vast chamber impossible to fill and a place where Cry was strongest. -
Cry felt someone peering on his bubble and quickly withdrew all his extremities and mental links in the bubble. He was able to pinpoint the disturbance to a half invisible villain. He smiled as his eye rolled to focus on the one. Cry had plenty enough power to sap this fellow dry and make him his new caretaker, but none the less he was worthful in making a good fight.
"Don't interfere." The Eye was fully submerged in Cry and looking upon Scarlet Eye. The now started to envelope Scarlets own physic energy's against him, sending him feedback like a microphone held up to its own speaker. Then he started to sap.
"There are things Ghost Widow and I share and others I keep to myself, Scarlet Eye. Do try and protect yourself, your own mental cubicle is pitiful." -
Cry heard the door to his office open and saw a troop of Bane Spiders run in. They encircled Cry and a hologram projected that of Black Scorpion. "Lt. Cry, your alive. Sorry about this attack but they had the codes and clearance."
Cry lifted his head to look at the hologram. "Get me a Widow to hold me, I trust we will speak with Daddy about this you buffoon. Just kill those sky raiders, if I have to resort to the eye there might be causalities in the base." He felt the hands of a Night Widow and the warmth of a blanket as it picked him up from the air into her arms.
"I want to go out, I won't be able to sleep this week for sure." The door closed and Cry sent a mental image to Tamesis. *A hero placed a flamethrower into the box full of amunition, there were four of them in total each with a badge. The image zooms in on one of the badges "Point Blank" Cry knew the image was rather old, about a week or two but the ammunition was a new place and where the string began it led back to the spool. -
Cry was getting agitated, the blades were pouncing off a field of energy, then one broke through. Like the process of cutting a diamond a scratch was made as Cry made a grimace and then a tear fell down his eye.
One of his eyes focused on the bot, a ripple like a stone falling in a lake moved across the eye. "Die!" The ground shattered in a cone of metal and kinetic force sending the jump bot out of the hole in the window to the Arachnos training grounds below. Cry blinked and a switch somewhere in the building activated
"Villain Proving Grounds, level 49. All personal clear the area..." Cry now lifted his hands and the invisible force behind him soon followed like a puppet. He formed a angry face and ran forward in place floating in the air. The ground crumbled underneath forming footprints that ran forward. The enslaved heroes returned to their stances and started to attack the Sky Raider group.
"I shall make you all my caretakers." -
((lol kk its sentimental will fix post!))
-
The hero stood there every effort until the last of the life was gone. She dropped to the floor cradling the baby protecting it. Gunshot wounds were spread around her body, she fell gently and laid the baby next to her smiling until she closed her eyes.
A little giggle came from the bundle. The room shook a heartbeat awakening it. The shockwave sent a burst of air rising and the bundle lifted into the air. "One of you shall take her place." A flash of yellow eclisped the eyes of the baby and the assault bot was lifted from the air and shot across the room sending it skidding to a halt. "I like living things to hold me."
Cry's immense physic abilities took the shape of 4 beings. The guard, the eye, the hand, and the fourth one he had yet to use. The scrap metal fell to the floor and a blur could outline the firgure representing Cry. Cry lifted, though in a sense he lifted himself it was his abilities acting alone that lifted him.
"It dies or we all die? Amusing." Four clad heroes came from the shadows their blank faces empty. Their powers lit up and their energy charged. "Lets see how a group of mercenaries can take on a elite group of heroes."
One of the heroes was incased in ice and fists glowed in pink pom-poms. It took shades to its face and then lept in a super jump focusing a energy attack while the others behind it activated their powers as Cry watched. "Intresting on how a group of them could attack my office, glad I was prepared."
