Two specks flew in the distance their suits ablaze with newfound connection with the world. Ruby was ahead, showering pink sparkles and pale fire. "Paragon has changed, how I used to love Atlas Park." Search lights hit the two, night was coming down on Paragon City.
"He intends us to go to Mercy Island pronto and seal the meteor within his realm. And then we can live forever in eternity." The specs suddenly made a right degree turning to the Rouge Isles their speeds increasing.
"One day Cry, one day, you will find the ones who you manipulate to manipulate you."
[u][u] [u]Back at the Fortress[u]
"How sensitive I am in this chamber, Scarlet Eye should of returned by now I wonder what keeps someone like him absent for so long? Surely death did not come."
Matters that concerned him were the meteor, others would be interested in it. Only few new of its power, attainable power at least. A Fortuna came forward distressed at thought.
"Such a blow from that hero, I did not think could harm me. Of course I predicted the unpredictable and made sure there was a way to heal." Cry pestered himself on Scarlet Eye, perhaps Scarlet Eye would find himself go rogue, now how to deal with that Cry did not know, of course safeguards were in place.
"My lord, we have secured the meteor from civilians and Arachnos lookers, we shall Pocket the meteor to Ghost Widow's former tower. Must we speak to her?"
Cry laughed and chuckled, "Ghost Widow is in no way able to keep her possessions anymore." -
"You can't be serious, Cry wouldn't want to bring those two back to life. They hated him and even worse they fought with each other. And then he even steps on the bounds of rules and authorities, he is breaking so many regulations."
"As if he follows them now... once Recluse is back he will step back in line, with him at the ropes he is making sure Recluse doesn't fight another war, he fills our ranks with powerful brain-washed heroes and accurately predicts breakdowns and retaliations."
"He reminds me of the old Lieutenants before the Destined One's fixed each and everyone one of them." The Captain shuffled with the chest moving it to a more comfortable position. The captain entered the office with the Fortuna.
The chest was put forth in front of the stone, locks clicking instantly. "The chest opens to its owner, now take the objects and place them around me." The voice was a whisper in the room, bouncing off every surface. The Fortuna and the Captain did as they were told placing out four items, a mask with a feather, a locket, a half-burnt diary, and a pair of vials each sucking the light around them.
The objects as soon as they were placed started to float and like magnets stuck to the floating stone that encased Cry. The objects sunk in leaving a ripple where they were placed. "Brother and Sister, dead but still in conflict, how I enjoyed taking your lifes. Now as scions of my will, you are my servants!
Runes and symbols wavered in the air, voices and whispers chanting and chanting, the Fortuna fell to the ground scratching at her face mask. "Make the voices stop!" The runes started to pile on each other, stacking and stacking until a mold of a human formed.
Several black blots shot out of the stone into the mass of runes, shadows stuck to both covering each. Then the shadows receded and there stood two human-beings. "You will find your body and mind, but your souls are mine. As soon as the task is complete you two shall be lifted from my curse."
One of the figures lifted its head and spoke its voice of a young man. "You bring us back to fight, why do you not leave us alone, we were at love when we fought you, but you keep that feeling and I only remember hate. The torture my master, what is it that makes you want us to sorrow?" The man stood six foot and wore faded colors of blue and white, his uniform torn and still intact from some battle.
"He brings us back, because he knows we are capable. He brings us back to make us pay, and to reward us." The woman then knelt, she wore a dark pink suit, her blazing orange hair hiding her face as she knelt at the stone.
"To reward of course, I made sure you two would be apart for a lost amount of time and I promised your love would return, did I not?"
They both mumbled yes. "You were both masters at your art, chi masters, it will now come down to you fighting your friends." Cry explained that they both were to interfere with the efforts of the heroes who sought the meteor in Mercy.
"You are cruel Cry, yet we now know that your not immortal, since you hide in that shell."
Cry was angered at the assumption. "Even gods must lick their wounds." The two both stood wiping dust of their shoulders and placing capes on.
"Its not in our will but we have no choice my love." The man got up.
"We were once star-crossed lovers, and look at the tragedy that was brought upon us." The girl pondered.
"Our fate should of been left alone long ago." The man spoke.
"Yet he the one who holds fates, decides to let the stars cross again..." The girl flipped her hair back.
"We will fight again, but not as heroes we once were. Fallen Stars are we, no longer celebrities, but infamous." The man once known as the Blue Starlet with his lover the Ruby walked out of the room vanishing to their tasks before scanners of their existence hit Arachnos scanners.
"What happened?" The Fortuna got up and the Captain just stood there.
"Please remove the Captain to the infirmary, he is suffering amnesia." -
Cry processed the new found data, and yet he couldn't figure it out. Where is it? The exact location, none to matter he only had a flux of memories and names all of which Arachnos should have on file. It disturbed him that this place held more then two hundred heroes, all of which half of them were capable of deploying a full scale war with the right support.
Arachnos greatly under measured the might of the Resistance, and then they didn't think America had anyone left to fight, much were assimilated and those who didn't have the psychic defenses brain washed, by Cry personally.
Cry was firmly stationed in the nether dimension plummeting to reality to his make shift office. Five Fortunas waited in the room receiving the call from Cry of his return. The baby popped out of a vortex and became omnipotent with the area. His energy levels waned, and his shield vaporized itself. He felt a tinge at his back.
"Master Cry, you are injured, how is that possible?"
"My body is too damaged to speak, I fought with a hero known as Energon-X, truly a battle agaisnt an enemy, not agaisnt a known ally."
Cry shifted in air and a bubble formed, encasing the baby in a shell that hardened and became a glowing stone. One of the Fortunas suddenly stood erect and stood in front of the ball. "I speak on behalf of Cry, his injuries will be healed within weeks time, he has set forth a task. He requires the idols and runes to call forth the Shades, they will insure that the task is finished."
[u]Minutes later-[u]
Word around the fortress spread quickly that Cry was injured, and quite severely. The energies in Energon-X had messed with the ethereal bound that kept Cry whole, and Cry was desperately trying to fix this, putting himself in a bubble of temporal suspension. His division worried, he spoke through the Fortuna, at which when free she would worry that Cry wasn't going to come out the same.
Cry was brewing something much worse, a new beginning... -
The monster vaporized the sound of the beam humming was enough to shatter anyone's ears. Cry couldn't be heard laughing, laughing, and laughing. An echo roared in the area, gripping those who knew what to fear.
"You won't be needing that, there is a simple way to fix this." Cry faintly came back into the world, Bladewing's spells broken.
"Normally I would just banish this monster to mists, but I can't get a target. But I think you provided a nice construct from which I can funnel his energies into a more proper place." Cry wasn't going to risk being in front of Energon-X's beam, even he would have a hard time reconstructing his soul after that.
"Your out there somewhere Energon-X, now its time!"
Cry drove the hammer, penetrating the bubble that kept the zone in shadows for nearly a decade. Cry touched every mind, learned dozens of secrets, retrieved the identity of any living being with a mind and then the memories of those who did not.
That split second, and the shield went up and Cry was once again not able to see under the ground. "I would drain myself if I were you, you were such a fun toy to play with, I don't want to lose you so early. And then if you explode, that leaves nearly a handful of Arbiters left, a thorn in my side that Malak is gone, and a clear path to victory with that fortress below you gone."
This was but the beginning, now everything was going to fall into place. Cry gained a guardian, a powerful warrior and psychic who hungered for power. Cry fought a won agaisnt the strongest known hero Energon-X, not by power but by manipulation forcing him to overload and possibly take himself out. And then a twinkle in the distance, something that Cry would use to purge the fortress.
Cry was going to keep the secrets of the Bastion to himself, Scriocco, and Scarlet Eye. And when the time came he would unleash Scarlet Eye upon that hive and tear them all apart.
But now, something of greater importance came up. Somehow Daos had gotten to the mystic star charts and learned of the meteor known as the Calamity. Arbiter Daos knew what it was and already brought in someone to take it down, someone who had the skill and knowledge of destroying the mind. A threat to Cry and the Calamity.
The Calamity itself was a sentient being, but a weak one who knew how to feed upon it. To think this thing was a cousin to Cry, a much older and frailer cousin to Cry. Cry liked the idea, this thing was going to be eaten whole. -
"You are an annoyance beyond sufferable doubt. There are mothers more formidable here at the moment." Cry laughed at the charms until the hexes came forth and then did the baby cringe as his body started to be forced into transperancy.
"I will leave something before I return!" The face of the baby melted into shadows of a laughing shade of terrors. The voice booming and dark, unwordly and godly.
The symbols swirled within the bubble, had Cry... shown his true apperance a muck of spirits and demons? The bubble still stayed in spot, nothing in it or surrounding it.
The ground shock and the terraforming monster reappeared, its body littered with rubble and broken down cars and stones. But now the monster pulsated thrumming with energy.
"My body is gone, but the mind is always present my dear toys!" -
The baby laughed and pointed at his head, *Your human aren't you, I see all.* The shield collapsed and the baby disappeared inside. A small wisp was left, the faint giggle hissed like a TNT fuse going off. The sword reached the center when all this had come to happen and the bomb of ethereal energy exploded.
Cry was standing erect farther up with a grin on his hand. "That wasn't nearly enough to kill you know is it?" A new bubble formed and Cry prepared himself to shapeshift. -

This is the latest recording with the battle with this robotic being. Ever since we took on the task of hunting down a dominator known as Biorage, did this thing show up. Digging up files from previous years we were able to conclude that in fact Biorage was acting as a delivery boy for V.1.
What was interesting is that this V.1 closely resembles our future Titan designs.
We did a hard felt search and destroy and recover ops for several years in the 90s before we gave up, this V.1 never showed up on any occasion and its activities seemed to cease.
Before the year was up in 2005, when the Arachnos sought the Destined Ones did we find something very familiar. It was taken down when we ambushed it. When we got it back to the facility, it was marked with a V and then either another V or number. We recovered about 20 of these machines each being different then the last, and each increasingly difficult to capture.
The most frequent design was either a high capacity magnetic flux core that produced quantities of energy by swirling a gyro magnetic around a lead core. We figured that the stability of the gyrosphere was reached with frequent discharges to a battery that kept the machine running and employed other magnets to keep the sphere in check.
We started to capture more of these things with magnetic weapons, until one day during a operation they didn't work. A bulkier version of the Vs was accompanied and left a message to a lone wounded Gunslinger, "... you have figured out the flaws in my army, I thank you Malta."
More research later, but in retrospect we believe this V.1 has created a hive mind in its creations allowing itself to communicate with or being with all at any moment. We haven't been able to reverse-engineer any of programming so far on any captured robots. -
The buildings cracked and fell, giving enough time for Cry to figure out what happened before the War Wall came into view. The air shimmered and the forcefield part of the Wall fell. The concrete structure became a ooze and caught the spinning bubble Cry was in.
The monster now reformed suddenly boomed from the energy Cry transferred it from the punches of Energon-X and the kinetic flight to the War Wall. The monster roared and then returned to rock where every crack pulsated a pink. The monster tumbled piece by piece each falling half-way then shotting at Energon-X in the distance.
"I can't see the moves in your head but now I know to look elsewhere." He crept into his foresight seeing the next moves Energon-X would make, that gave him a 95% chance of knowing the next 3 moves and from there a 40% of knowing the next 3. Though this battle was starting to drain Cry the tipping point of critical mass was about to be reached and if Energon-X could starre into the pupils of the baby he could see the plan and the energy built up, a red dot of anger.
The carcass of the monster fell apart as the bubble zipped in a shockwave across the landscape vaporizing the rocks still in flight from the last volley. Cry was so caught up in the fun that he didn't even realize that he had in fact taken damage to his body he was neglecting to answer for a call to heal.
Where this damage was on his body the psionic dimensional shield was weakest, giving a hint to Cry's own biography, that his body was but a manifestation of his mind...
((I want to be more specific on Cry's abilities and weaknesses I felt I wasn't so clear in my last description of them))
His fist raised, the air wavered and an astral projection of the Hand, a minion of Cry. It truly was tool of two in creating balance in the world, but in Cry's hands it was a hammer that shattered any laws it came across. The hand came into the physical word, something it rarely did in Cry's use, and came in a uppercut into the armor of Energon-X. The contact popped an explosin and Cry quickly brought up his defenses awaiting to change to drain the bi-fold attack Energon-X would bring about to equalize. -
The scope zoomed in and pictures were taken of the two before they left. The hum of the laser barrel started, *WARNING! Supporter in cross-fire!* The humming stopped and a file of the man named Ygnacio Larwin popped up with a total support of over 6 figures.
"XD-101, stop make sure supporter is away from target to make the kill. The antennae shot up receiving the message from base.
"Roger master, persueing target." The body shoke and then disassembled itself into its disk shaped head which floated. The eye swerved around the perimeter of the disk and the compact assassin moved. -
"...I really hope you can pull this one off, he knows to much is the scene good?"
Bzzt! "The convoy was destroyed as plan and imitation message sent to Kalinda. Process bill?"
"... yes yes XD-101, your programmer has proven his worth to Arachnos plenty of times, may I talk to.. Circuit?"
"Statement: No, access denied, Circuit must keep identity secret. Circuit leave note that you must understand issue, Circuit wanted by many. I am sorry client but the target has arrived."
The robot with its glowing one eye started to crutch and performed a leap to the next building. Its arm opening and modifying to a weapon with a large opening pointing at the blazing scene bellow. "Scanners activated." -
The rocket lobbed itself into the monster and ticked once into an explosion that nearly doubled the size of the amorphous mass and shattering the ice that covered its chest. "I didn't feel that but the people below are going to." The monster became a uniform mass and splattered to the streets below in an acid that at through at a gradual place down.
Just keep going down and he will nearly double his efforts I know it, I just know it. Cry was saddened though, he had heard Energon-X was a ruthless patriot driving forward but maybe Cry had given him to much of a impossible challange and the only way Cry was going to succeed is if Energon-X kept using his own energy to power Cry's own dimensional battery.
The glob waned and formed at a point where it hardened to stone covering a spherical object. The shell cracked and the villain incarnate of the mind and dead floated behind a bubble of shields and wards. Cry returned his mind and spirit to his body as he reached back to full power. He smirked at the result of the acid bath in the crator had fallen on a residence that helped the poor.
"So many bodies... dead bodies." Cry clenched his fist and a burst or explosion in the distance cracked the sky. Cry put forth his finger pointing at Energon-X who was probably wondering who the hell this thing was. Husks, and skeletons of the dead residence lifted and then fell as a fluff of pink and ambiance shot to the end of the finger of Cry. "Boom." The shock wave down in a "matrix style" motion, cut through the landscape and Cry was recoiled into the ground his shield forming a perfect cup.
The beam of the soul energy and psychic charged particles moved across the horizon at its target. -
((maybe he is covered in a silicate compound or corundum-based covering? Those two materials are highly, highly resistant to plasma.))
-
"Use Cry's own personal weaponry to detain Cynic so he doesn't intrude farther." The Fortuna nodded at the command of the shaded figure. Holding a gold vase intertwined with serpents eating each other the Fortuna opened the cap to the vase and a flicker in the base's electricity grid stuttered.
"Anchor set." Outside the base, another shield popped up around Cynic grounding itself and then lifting. When you can't destroy you simply move it elsewhere. It wasn't a detention bubble at all, Cynic was free to leave it of course he would find himself in trouble when he left since he could only leave it in body, leaving his mind and soul behind.
Cynic was not ready to see what was behind the door, no one in Arachnos was. It was to be kept secret, if Cynic had chosen another door things would be alright but this door was a straight head away to Cry's own worries. -
The monster reared and started to shift again. "Come on I am only a fifth there at the moment." The mass of the monster started to change again at the spot forming into ice. The hydrogon freon mixture at supercold temperatures provided yet another catalyst for energy harvesting.
At the otherside of the battlefield hiding in the pocket dimension opened by a pea-sized hole, Cry busily started to decrypt the fuzz that surrounded. "Those old vanguard medals may be able to resist psychic energies but not all of them." Cry giggled, giggled, and giggled containing his laughter of evil.
Thoughts of other things where creeping in his mind. "I can use Energon-X as a personal super battery at time of needs, there is a universe of space in my mind and just constant pressure will juice him like an orange... no betrayal I cannot do. I am a sustaining part of Arachnos, Lord Recluse will be back soon and I will tell him all about the Bastion that I single handly took them all out, yes, yes."
Due to Energon-X's efforts, the monster was now harboring a mini-reaction of quatom energies terribly... stabilizing the structure of framework that held it together. It seemed that the more harm that was done to the creature, the more its purpose was fullfilled. -
The backflow did something unusual the monster became ambient and changed color. "And so it begins." The monster became a battery sucking in the energy that Energon-X sent back and in a paradox feeding it to the psychic energies of Cry.
"I expected your energy to be much more plentiful, but who knows the conversion process is inefficent to say. I want you to guess what your fate of others will be." Energon-X couldn't see what Cry wanted. The Bastion was covered in layers of psionic barriers that made Steel Canyon seemly full of activity and Cry in the past felt the suttleness and lashed out to find what it was hidding. The barrier had reared up and defended itself from the psychic survey, impossible for Cry if he couldn't find the source.
Energon-X was to become the hammer and Cry to be the spike to drive into the barriers and hopefully the spike of energy would erase any mental mind in the base.
The monster reared up for another blast spewing globs of protoplam mass that acted like homing seekers reaching the greatest energy source that Energon-X kept matching.
"It's so dreadful that your fighting a battle of your own will, you only know how to fight others and yet your true enemy is yourself!" -
The monster stubbled as part of its shoulder and arm started to slide until more rock filled its place repairing it. "You Energon-X, have fought infinite powers and energies only because you could match them! Now lets see how things work the other way when your powers betray you."
The creature hulked and brought its hand forward twisting and changing into frost and ice meant to cover the landscape and Energon-X. The spray of cold would only melt on the armor of Energon-X, but the battleground was becoming a mere playground for a game Cry was setting up.
Cry loved to study the greatest of heroes and most favorably the weaknesses of each. Even Lord Recluse's weaknesses were known to him a secret he would take a lifetime to tell.
The static did little to interupt his mind, vacant from his body, subconsciously and dimensionally warded in a bubble someplace in the battlefield.
Cry messed with the elemental structure of the monster, it dragging a piece of pure diamond and then its body not being able to support itself being fire. Then as it stumbled it erupted into a freon of energies constantly being eaten and exhaled formulating fromt he ground into its internal energies.
"It begins now Energon-X, lets see that battle pride I hear that can break civilizations apart." The monster now of energy opened its mouth to a ray of kinetic energies that swept the landscape toward Energon-X. -

((He's not talking about THE Arachnos base, he's talking about the one that Cry was in, which was attacked by sky raiders, torn to shreds, and now Cynic is in it and planning to Air Strike it. I think.))

((occ: Cry was in the Fortress in his office that was ambushed and destoryed, his office overlooked the Training Grounds which I presume a good amount of the battle took place and Jake and Tamesis are surveying the damage along with Scirocco.)) -

Neither base can be attacked. The hero base is hidden, even if you switch sides; the villain base is too well defended
No leading either side, or any huge armies
Just because your character is a hero or a villain, doesnt necessarily mean they are required to pick a side. I will let your imagination come up with reasons for that.

((occ: To Blightlord, attacking from the outside of the Arachnos base was suicide enough, walking into it you are risking annihilation and if not that temporal banishment from the creatures within that instead of destroying would like to toy with you forever. It would be noticed by now that something as amiss by the Fortunas and Mu Mystics who feel the unbalance and taint of Blightlord.)) -
((occ: Sorry, chameleon, thought you didn't regonize the first post and then I tried to refit the second post to make up for it! Sry about my grammar once again lol))
It was there, then there, then it moved at a blazing speed that could pass former Paragon City in five minutes if he didn't keep attention at it. Until it became a full blare of energy. Screens popped up images of a armor clad hero rang yelling alerts of all sorts. "This is the famed and heroic Energon-X." He weighed the consquences of leaving the base again and if Scirocco needed him he wouldn't be around to respond.
"This is the best for Arachnos, Scirocco has his head in to much policies and procedures." Cry started to waver until the glow of his eyes were left, the eyes popped at the sound of a giggle.

"DIE........!" The scream of a thousand voices echoed the ground just under the city shook and perfect cyndrical slabs of earth nearly a quater mile in length shot from the Earth. "Your time has come Energon-X, it is time that Bastion will fall." The pillars now fell from the Earth aiming at Energon-X their structure falling apart into a mass of stone, the sky was changing in the area the smokey sky now turning pitch black with waves of celestial purple.
"With the fall of the East their psychic network is completely down, finnally news will spread evenly between my seers." Cry rarely did spells of arcane nature in combat. Energon X would be surprised as what came out of a invisible phase shift, an anomaly created of stone and will.
The air wavered and before the city nearly a building high was a creation of Cry. Its hulking mass of stone and steel roared through the city. At the center of it,protected in a bubble of energy was Cry controlling the gaint monster.
"Alas a hero comes out of the shadows in these lands. None like you have shown themselves since the death of the Phalanx. Unlike certain heroes, your mental security is well... lacking." -

Mere mentions of his name in this state caught his attention, the entire scope of reality was at his fingers. He eagerly pryed on all conversations that would interest him. He puffed at the remarks of Jake and Tamesis. Saving their lifes wasn't enough to garner them loyalty to him.
Scriocco and his Mu bloodline were useful vessels of physic magnification but like this world they... dried up easily making them easy targets. Cry had prepared a vessel for Scarlet Eye, an entire incarnation if needed when the time came.
The emptiness melted into the office where Cry hovered. A knock at the door and a Fortuna entered silently knowing it was safe. "Scirocco must be informed that Lord Recluse... is severly injured and that the victory in the East is won." -
The office covered in a thick frost steamed from the internal heating of the Fortress. Cry was mumbling under his breath, and shivering not from the cold but the severe mental strain of opening his own Gate. "They all... think... this is my room... my room! The Bastion the Bastion, where is it!" Cry's own frustration unlocked the Gate.
The room expanded every peice covered in ice became a void like the galaxy where universes and stars ran. The darkness enveloped Dead Aim and broke him down atom by atom, nothing except the Keeper could be within the pocket dimension.
It was the creation of everything that had gone. Cry willingly pushed the emptiness to create something for him. Crumpling into an amorphous mass the shape of a bear formed with one eye. -
Office #320
Little specks of ice collected along the figure of Dead Aim. Cry was giggling under his breaths feeling the rush of uprising. "They forget that I can hear every single one of them." Daddy would come back, success at hand that the heroes were once and for all defeated in years time.
Cry's intelligence about the hero presence here grew into fruitation once he was able to pinpoint the name of operations, Bastion. Even now the sight of strong heroes, gave word that there was a presence and it was not as organized as he thought. Scarlet Eye would be needed, the focused precison of Scarlet's own mental aptitude and the strength of Cry's own domain to push it would finnally unveil the presence.
---------------------------------------------------
Former United Kingdom: England
A nuclear winter settled upon the plains of the highlands, attempts of erradicating the footholds of Arachnos failed and in doing so decreased the national temperatures by 20 degrees. She wore earmuffs and gaint goggles, her blonde flowing hair whipped from the icing winds.
"Are the scans holding up?"
"Nothing, but the wind." The man beside her wore the uniformed guard of blue and black, the elite group that kept Arachnos largely at bay, their name simple yet powerful, Sentinels. The woman got up and poked her head at the war machine ahead puffing black smoke.
"This is as far as we go, that thing hasn't moved for the month. I think its safe to say to go on the offensive." *Wrrrr* The man yelled hearing the sound, the air withered, fading, from it a crouched figure bearing a large spider symbol on its head shot out its arm.
The hillside exploded from the transfer of energy. The bot, a gift from Black Scorpion to Captain Mako was a new breed of stalking technology. It picked up the scanner from the floor wiping the bloody snow from the screen. It crushed it and beeped dropping the scanner and dissappearing.
For moments the black smoke stopped and then like a gaint predator it moved its legs lifting it off the ground. Within a worn spider still shivering with lust of what he held in his fist, a metal face plate mask. The thought of victory, was now in reach. -
Cry felt the link accomplish, he wiggled in Dead Aim's arms gathering up the whole essence of Scarlet. "Such power in these heroes is rare in these areas, find what you can from them."
Cry felt the rapid uprising among the Arbiters, enough to cause concern. "They all best stay away... daddy will not tolerate this," Cry mumbled under his breath condensation coming from it as the room instantly started to chill.
"I will not be made a mockery and be degraded. If I am to be challanged the Arbiters shall understand they are under the law of me!"
