  1. Oh... Well, this IS when Meryl dies, and Sniper Fox, in Metal Gear Solid...

Like, a monk type of choir you are talking about?
  2. [ QUOTE ]
Ya know, I can never seem to decide on a song for my characters.

Although, when Essex was going all darky in Final Fight, I couldn't get the deep choir voices out of my head. You kind of get what I mean? You might find em near the end of video games at big boss fights, or in certain movies where something big and/or dramatic is about to happen.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Oh! Oh! I know! I will put a Putfile here...

Sorta like this, except more angsty?
  3. ...

    <.<
    >.>

*Kills Hal in his dreams, smirking all the time, before he suddenly wakes up in the forum, still in full red armour.*

"....Stop looking at me like that."

Now, all you have to figure out, is whether people are looking at him funny because he smiled in his sleep killing his ally, or because he sleeps in his full suit of armour.
  4. Experiment looked at his arm where the spine had fired from, to the hose, noting that most of the material his spines were made from was still on there, as the things had not become FULLY solid yet.

He knew his incrimination was obvious, but the hose-holder's wasn't, yet.

"...I sorta bribed her to use the hose... I was, uh... Trying to see if my latest invention would work... I thought I had created a water-blocking forcefield, but apparently I had failed... Uh... Yeah."

((Heh, youthful 2.0 is not only naive, but he also tries to get the blame off of others! What the hell happened?))
  5. "Don't worry, Miss Essex!" Experiment said, running from the kitchen to the back door quickly. He ejected a small spine from his right arm, and fired right at the hose-line...

...He really didn't think ahead for the whole 'Out-of-control-water' thing that would undoubtedly happen if the spike struck its mark.
  6. Now that I think about it, I think I need to go out at some point...

    ...Oh well.

Someday by... Well, why don'tcha guess? When I listen to this, I kind of imagine everyone in battle, aiding each other. Not mainly from the words, but the tune itself.
  7. ((Radweatwor? Don't the W's replace the R's, and sometimes the L's? For instance, Bewieve is sometimes used for this kind of speech pattern... I know I am a dork, what of it?))
  8. ((Pfft, Experiment is three! Granted, he has the I.Q. of a Harvard college student, but that is beside the point...))
  9. ((Heh... Or a Pyrochist!

...Okay, I know that was lame, but be honest, what else do you expect from me? Humor? C'mon!))
  10. ((Wow... Is it just me, or is Mini-Burning a slow learner?))
  11. ((Well, that was the point. Kinda hard to build a long tunnel when a huge forcefield that vaporizes equipment gets in the way.))

The Mark I Alpha Prototype scanned the area over and over, attempting to lock onto the incoming enemies. However, it had not been programmed to identify maneuvers or any such intelligence.

However, it HAD been programmed for mass killage.

Its arms transformed into what appeared to be mini-miniguns. It crossed the weapons, and started firing around and around, more for suppression than for actual damage.
  12. Experiment was already halfway up the stairs when his ears suddenly caught one of his favourite words.

"Pizza?!" he called down, pretty much jumping from the step he was on, and rolling on the ground, landing face first. He stood, coughing, and dusting himself off, as he ran into the kitchen. "Plain cheese for me!:
  13. Experiment, seeing the distressed Burning run back inside, hit a switch on his confetti blaster.

    "Super-High power, activated."

He looked around, trying to find the source of the tentacle he had barely spotted.

He accidently glanced upward at the window, and growled, granted, in a rather high-pitched voice, "Oh, dat is it."

He ran inside, toward the stairs, planning to confettify those who had made the poor mini-pyromaniac cry.
  14. ((...SPY!))

2.0 observed the shielding, took a deep breath, and stepped through. The shield hummed over him as he took the step, and he let out his breath after the second.

He turned to the others. "Okay, people. Let's get moving. No time to waste, what with the 'very far from island' thing we got goin' on. The FF Generator should let those of you who need it to walk or run through. The rest of us should fly or carry the others."

He turned to the trolls, frowning. "...Uh... You guys might want to let people carry you... Don't need anyone drowning JUST yet."

((Haha! I not only got us through the shield, I managed to beat Devious' obstacle of the whole 'water' thing! Haha!...

    ...I feel hollow.))
  15. Frowning, the mastermind stood. He silently yet quickly walked over to a control panel, hitting a few buttons. "I tire of this game," he spoke, the transmission still going out, "I will allow my defenses to continue their blockade of my facility, but until you get here... Why don't I show you a prototype of the prototype I am sending to Paragon City in a while? Perhaps you will see why I have this base."

A suit of armour rose from a shrubbery, apparently a secret doorway into wherever it was held. It was black, with blood-red colouring. It went from the kneeling position to a standing, battle-ready position. Scanners initiated as he began flying over the trees and plants.

"That Mark I Alpha Android was my first destructive force. It is MUCH weaker than the Mark II..." The bot aimed at a large area of plantation, a blast incinerating the area, as odd calls of mutated animals cried out, "But then, that doesn't mean it is actually WEAK..."
  16. Experiment nodded, the Force Field Genrator becoming fully active.

    "Okay guys... Let's go."

With that, the generator floated forward, coating everyone with a shield that created a path through the shield itself.

((Next 2.0 post, this RP will become closeded!))
  17. ((Well, as far as I know, the heroes are stopping at the edge of the Field, and a distraction of sorts is already happening, though unplanned, meaning we have the ability to get on the island unnoticed while the mastermind is occupied with Allen, and Kaos.))
  18. "I doubt it." Came the reply, as much more rustling was heard.

    The creature got more friends.
  19. Because I was bored...

Now, you people MAY notice a pattern in my music-likingness, but still...

I found songs that seemed to fit some of the RPs!

If Everyone Cared by Nickelback for 24 Hour Virus.

How You Remind Me by Nickelback for Crown of Thorns.

Photograph by... Uh, backNickel for mainly the end of Meeting of the Minds... j00 will see.
  20. "Now that the annoying ship is out of the way..." came the mastermind's voice, speaking to the fast-approaching intruders, "Why don't you tell me why you are here? Obviously, it is not to help me destroy Experiment 2.0 and his friends... You seem to be after something."
  21. Experiment looked up at the incoming chopper, and grunted in reply. "You know, this could have been a hell of a lot easier. People could have NOT been attacking the same place we were. People COULD have waited for us to destroy whatever that guy has, but NO! Whoever they are just HAD to try and attack at the SAME time we were! You know, sometimes I wonder--"

He remembered where he was, and grunted again. "Uh... Everyone, get in the forcefield, and fly like a huge ship is about to crush you."
  22. An animilistic grunt was made, before an odd, slightly large sort of creature jumped out of the bushes at Kaos and the others. However, it didn't even seem to match up to the fading noises in the distance. Still, this thing was easily super-human size.

Claws with bloodied tips swiped directly at Kaos quickly, attempting to keep distance more than slice him. At a distance, it was easy to tell the animal was like a mix of a tiger, a bear, and some sort of large dog, much like a wolf.

It then turned tail and ran into the bushes at a frightening speed, much like a cheetah.
  23. 2.0 stepped out into the playground eagerly, nothing in hand. He simply started observing the area, before tapping a small button on his plastic armour.

His left arm started firing off confetti in bursts, as he laughed. "Hahaha! Who is the idiot now?!" he called out, as if making a confetti-creator from pieces of shrapnel from an old battle that he waddled into was intelligent.
  24. Experiment, entirely forgetting his own advice at Essex's whip-lash, stopped right before the shield, hearing the hum of it next to his face. He had closed his eyes, not wanting to see his face be split apart roughly. He flew back, landing quickly.

"Okay, once everyone is ready, we should fly in slowly inside the Force Field. That way, it will be harder for motion sensors to find us, and we should be flying low enough to keep radar from getting us. Now, all we need is some way to keep the turrets offa us, and we are home free."

*PSHHHHH....* came a hiss, as doors opened on the facility, missiles and blasts firing off at the Osprey eagerly. "Hahaha! Take that! Die, birdy, die!"

The flying osprey, that had somehow got into the shield, puffed away. "Damn birds. Now, back to the enemy ship!" With that, the turrets turned toward THE Osprey, firing at the ship with all their might.
  25. A massive rumble signified the noises coming closer, before another smash sent a handful (for a giant) of trees heading up the 'cliffside' of the island. However, the rumbling stopped, as the noises receeded. Apparently, the creature did not want to get any closer.

"Hmm..." the dark voice spoke, nothing happening anymore.

"So, you avoided the creature... Good enough, I suppose, to avoid such a thing, I guess you are tougher than I thought... Although now I have a pesky insect above my base. Excuse me if I pay less attention to you, but the flyer is slightly annoying."

Blasts of red plasma started heading for the ship, causing a nice cover fire for about 8 protector drones to head toward the ship. If any got close, they would drill through the hull, and enter the ship. Because of the Protector's programming, once inside, they would attempt to disable the ship from the inside with hacking.

"Aah... The joys of electronics, don't you think so? Amazing what technology can do. For instance, if I thought there was anyone in-coming from some random tunnel, I could spread the shield about 30 more feet, and destroy them all unprepared!"

He lingered over the button, before chuckling. "Heh, but of course, that is entirely impossible."
