Wow..Hi all..late entrance I know...busy day..my fantasy football league had our draft today..so ive been busy inputing the info into the laptop..then learned vicodin and beers make you REEEAAALLYY sleepy..just getting out of the fog now.
For thos fantasy footballers, out of a 12-team league I had the 8th pick, in order my picks:

I stretched on picking some RB's I'm sure...and forgot Avery has an injured foot, but where I picked him I'm not worried. We play 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 K, and one flex- RB/WR/TE. -

been afk all day..went back to the fr..got the stitches removed..gave me a better knee brace for a few weeks...start pt next week, take it easy otherwise til I see the dr in 2 weeks..He said he cleaned a LOT of scar tissue out and repaired a cartilege (sp?) tear. wean off the crutches and only wear the brace if I go out of the house

Geoff Johns has become my favorite of the 'new' comic book writers, if ya want to consider him new..His work on Teen Titans and his rebirth of GL- my 2nd favorite behind Batman and now his 'rebirth' of the the Flash- my 3rd favorite btw...I approve of his work whole-heartedly. HOWEVER, Im dissappointed that I havent read Darkest Night yet..Somehow I missed Gl #43 and even though I have th other issues in the storyline to date I wont read them out of order. call me quirky like that but Ill hit the comic book store tomorrrow and hope they got the copy of it in for me.
For the record, my all-time favorite writer of comics is Chris Claremont. LOVED his X-Men stuff..It was a sad day when I read his last issue back in the 90's and didnt know it was his last til I read it.
Peter David's stuff is great too. And it has nothing to do with the fact that he lives on Long Island also and I see him almost once a year at I-Con.

Im looking for a Muat Thai dojo. But I want to LEARN MUAY THAI.. get in shape, discipline, philosophy, the whole bit. There is a place up the road from me that has it and there is also a sign that says MMA..I have been told by people that know the person running it that it is two different classes altogehter and that his knowledge of Muay Thai is very very good. SO I will check that out in a month or two when my knee is better and my financial situation, hopefully, is better as well.

Maybe it's a modern invention that didn't come around until the 70s and the first Superman movie, but Superman's reasons have never seemed nebulous in my memory. They made him from outer space to quickly explain how he got his powers!!! There is NO reading into his character!!!!
