El Guapo Grande couldn't believe the utter PANDAEMONIUM present in this building! Since the little fellas were scurrying all over the place, the best option would be to eliminate the places they could scurry around in!
With that thought it mind, El Guapo Grande began charging at support beams for the building. -
El Guapo Grande was quite surprised by the sudden tumult of activity.
Not as surprised as the Damned was when he realized the flames surrounding El Guapo Grande were not his puny flames, but the flames of El Guapo Grande's magnificent soul!
Flames empowered by El Guapo Grande's raging sense of self worth.
To the poor pathetic Fallen Gunners, it was like being hit by a semi-truck going full speed down a freeway towing dangerous flammable gases. But NO! It was not such a clumsy thing! What they felt was instead the GLORIOUS power of El Guapo Grande's magnificent, masculine arms! -

((A conversation to amuse you all:
Me on the phone with my boyfriend -
Me: "I don't know what powers to give Penny. *explain RP*"
Him: "Do they have to be in-game powers?"
Me: "Well, not really I guess, but..."
Him: "How about she turns into a ball of kinetic energy and can bounce off walls?"
Me: "...What?"
Him: "You know, like....her body turns into energy, and she just...zips around, bouncing off the walls."
Me: "...Her power would be bouncing off walls?"
Him: "Yeah!"
Me: "...................And what else?"
Him: "Isn't that enough?"))

"Funny I was going to ask the same thing," a short, spiky haired 'kid' in a grey fur coat said as he walked up behind the two offworlders.
Ryuji was just a bit perturbed, given his locater talismans had all simultaneously shorted out. -

"Them Capes are idiots anyway. We busted in, did our thing, and ran back out laughing our heads off..."

Sometimes it takes an idiot to catch an idiot.
With a loud *CRASH* the glorious, magnificent El Guapo Grande, champion of goats and pigs everywhere, smashed into the Hellion's base.
He used the front door this time...though there wasn't anything left of it now. -
Kagura moved away from the Mountain Master and began to undress.
Reishi and her companions knew little about the girl, she spoke little and apparently didn't even have a name until Reishi herself gave her one just a few hours ago. What they did know was the girl had little shame.
And the other students would learn this too, as the young girl dove, naked, into the cold water of the waterfall basin. -
Kagura, still in her bathing suit, walked up to Halven and tugged on his robe.
"Need clothes..." she said. -
(OOC: Bunny hop up the temple stairs with two water buckets balanced on your back while humming Beethoven's fifth symphony!)
-
Reishi turned and grinned at Jake, "You can try, but you'll fail. Try an' figure it out for yourself, goat boy."
With that, Reishi leapt away from the Tempest group. -
"Yes, as I explained earlier, you have to grow your own food. Don't assume the guys herding sheep and farming crops are pushovers either, there's a reason they're allowed metal tools," Reishi said.
-
Reishi grumbled slightly, "Yes there are outdoor hotsprings. However, the male and female baths are located at opposite ends of the temple grounds. And those weren't real geisha."
(OOC: It's true, there's only about 200 actual geisha in Japan and very few if any are under age 30) -
"Well unless they moved em, the baths are located under each of the temples. There's six total, if you include the outdoor baths," Reishi explained.

Kara's morning commute could have gone better. Starting her car was a chore, given the cold.
But, she figured, it would be worth it to see Mina's happy face.
She found herself almost skipping down the hall to room 2-14, with the bear in her hand. After the customary knock, Kara opened the door to Mina's room.
"Good morning Mina!" she said happily, concealing the bear behind her back.
Mina merely nodded, with a tiny smile across her face.
"I brought you something! Something I'm sure you'll remember," Kara said, moving the doll in front of her, "TA-DA!"
Mina didn't display a look of happiness.
She expressed fear. Not of the toy, which she grabbed and hugged as tight as she could burying her face in it. Her fear was of Kara. Or rather....
"You saw it, didn't you?" came Mina's voice, for the first time in years. It was as clear as a bell, like a harmonious choir of angels. Her voice carried in the room, it was quiet, subtle, yet powerful. It echoed, yet was clear as day.
It was...perfect.
"S-saw w-what?" Kara studdered.
"The house, you saw the house, right?" Mina asked, still scared, but her voice still beautiful.
"Y-yes...what happened? Do you know?" Kara asked, completely shocked.
"I do. But..." Mina trailed off, "If I tell you, you'll become involved in something you may regret. You'll be entangled in a web of lies and deceit, and dark truths you may regret ever knowing. So I ask you: Are you ready? Do you have what it takes to be involved?"
Kara was in disbelief. Here was a girl who had apparently never spoken in YEARS opening her mouth and spouting something about lies and dark truths...she didn't know what was going on, but she couldn't leave things half done.
"I do," Kara said resolutely.
"Very well," Mina said, closing her eyes, "Come back after lunch, and I'll tell you the whole story." -

(OOC: The gates already opened...it's how the masters got to the students.)
Reishi smirked as she noticed Jake's bamboo stick was just as withered as her tiny stick.
And he'd only swung it once.
"Just because it glows, doesn't mean it's more powerful," she whispered to herself cheerfully.
This was going to be fun. -

OOC: Wait, what? I thought it had to be open so that the Masters could get out to the students. The Masters definitely live in the Temples. The teachers may have the time to take sabbaticals, but the administrators definitely have to remain in there. Or is there some facet of our entrance I'm missing? Did we teleport out?

(OOC: Indeed there's no physical wall or barrier between either of the schools. The only thing between them is the mess hall and the central courtyard. And the walls of the actual temple structures, but that's a given) -
On the other side of the massive gate stood two temples separated by a large courtyard. School colors flew high on each temple, and students were training en masse in the courtyard, with sparring competitions taking place in the central courtyard.
The gardens were unlike anything the students had seen. Orchids were extremely prominant, the flower of the current Groundskeeper, Xiao Ran (OOC: 'Ran' can mean 'orchid'). Also prominant, of course, were the standard lotus flowers and bamboo forests. Several parts of both temples were also set aside for farming. The Tempest side, it seemed, had more livestock while the Mountain side had more fruits and vegetables. What the students didn't know was that food was mutually exclusive: Raising plants and animals was a joint effort by both schools in an (sometimes vain) effort to get both schools to cooperate on something other than tournaments.
The only thing between the two temples other than the courtyard was a small structure with a plethora of picnic benches in front of it, some raised to allow seating and some closer to the ground with mats instead of -
Reishi looked Jake in the eye.
"There's more to choosing a weapon than your strength or the weapon's strength. In the hands of a good master, a bamboo stick like that can be a lethal force, but by no means is it unbreakable. Allow me to demonstrate."
She walked over and plucked a branch from a nearby tree. It was about the size of Reishi's forearm and very thin. She held the branch up to her forehead and closed her eyes. A moment later she swung the branch at a larger branch, severing it from the tree, then she slammed it on the ground, creating a tiny crater. By this time the branch appeared to be withering.
"Just a normal branch channeling my energy, I can get three strikes out of it against objects that offer little resistance. But it's still merely a branch. It's mosly protected by my own power, though it has a bit of strength itself," she explained. -
"A weapon is only as sturdy as the hand that holds it," Reishi imparted.
She turned to face Kagura.
"Kagura, which school do you wanna enter?"
"...Mountain," she said quietly, and moved to stand with Yin. -
Reishi scratched her head, "It's not just about skills, kiddo, it's about personality. My advice would be the Mountain school. I tackled the Tempest school first myself, but that was in a very literal sense. My first training job as a member of the Mountain school was to personally fix all the damage I did to the Tempest school.
"So for you I'd advise the Mountain school, it just fits ya better I think," she finished. -
