After the big blob of mucus passed through the pipe,Ryuji leapt into the sewer pipe behind Starfall and began launching spines from his hands like daggers at the Hydra surrounding him.
Each one they hit began to freeze, and in seconds were basically giant boogersicles. -
Meanwhile, Kara was busy caring for several spooked patients in her assigned ward. No easy task.
After helping clean up a rather messy case of 'so scared they crapped themselves,' she decided to check on Mina, when she heard gunshots and screams from the floor below. Kara quickened her pace.
"Mina?!" she called as she entered the room, "Are you okay?!"
"He's coming," she said calmly, "I don't think you should stay here."
"Why? What's he going to do?" Kara asked, panicked.
"He'll kill me," Mina morbidly replied, "Or something will happen. It was bound to happen. At least I get to face my enemy this time." -
"Perhaps," Ran began, "I should take a look at this new crop. Are the Mountain students undergoing the frigid bath again?"
"Yeah, and my student's with em," Reishi said.
"Ah splendid!" Ran exclaimed, standing up and moving towards the door, "Shall we go then?" -
Now that the building obstructing the view of the Trolls from El Guapo Grande had been...taken care of...El Guapo Grande finally noticed them jumping into a sewer grate.
If there's one thing that offended the senses of the glorious El Guapo Grande, it was Trolls.
"HALT VILLAINS!" El Guapo Grande shouted as he chased after them. -
The fleeing Hellions didn't stand much of a chance. Any that stepped on the ground within three feet of Ryuji froze solid, causing even more panic.
Then he saw the Hydra.
In a second nearly a dozen ice spikes surrounded Ryuji, seeming to protrude from him above his clothes. The spikes themselves weren't as frightening as what they really did: each one contained enough of Ryuji's frigid aura that anything that touched them would eventually freeze solid even after they ceased contact with the spines. The effect was even faster on things that had a higher concentration of water within their bodies. -
The heretic gone, Father McMahon turned to face the SWAT team, and replaced his swords.
In one motion he drew his most deadly weapon...
His identification.
"I hold in my hand the seal of a diplomat of Vatican City. Any attempt to fire upon or arrest me without official approval of your Federal Government will be deemed as an act of war," he announced. -
Father McMahon wasted no time.
"Their righteous sacrifice was not in vain," Father McMahon whispered into B.L.Z.'s ear, "Amen."
Father McMahon moved to plunge his short sword into B.L.Z.'s back. -
"Actually I'd worry more about pet squid..." Ryuji remarked.
-
Father McMahon silently sheathed his swords, and in the same gesture launched 26 cross-shaped daggers right at the heads of each and every clone.
-
"Reishi...my rival," Kagura said, a bit more determination in her voice, "I...want...stronger."
-
"That is...what she...told me," Kagura said quietly.
-
Father McMahon took the bullet to his chest. It was impossible to tell if he was just extraordinarily tough, or if he was wearing a bulletproof vest, or if he had a thick ol' bible conveniently placed in his coat exactly where the bullet had hit.
Not that it mattered, really, because in the next moment Father McMahon's left sword sliced the top off of B.L.Z.'s gun, and his right was aimed for the heretic's wrist... -
"Guess I will, she probably has my robes anyway..." Reishi said as she walked towards Xiao Ran's small hut.
The hut itself was empty, mostly, except for dozens and dozens of exotic plants from all over the world.
"Welcome," came a familiar voice.
From the back room came a shorter girl, about 5' 1", with her long, dark hair tied behind her with a jeweled clip shaped like an orchid. Her robes were the crimson red color of the school's poison masters. Xiao Ran's was much longer and more ornate than most, since she spent most of her time looking after plants. She didn't look it, but Ran probably had more than two hundred different needles positioned in various places around her robes, each coated with just as many poisons. Of course, few if any were lethal.
Despite her youth, Ran walked with an air of elegance. Even at a young age, she had proven to be popular amongst the other students not just for her looks, but her charming personality.
"Ah, Reishi! It's been too long!" she exclaimed, hugging her old friend.
"Heya Ran! Longtime no see!" Reishi returned.
"I hear there's a new batch of students. I have a feeling I'll be seeing them soon," Ran smiled, "By the way, you probably want your robes, correct?"
Ran looked Reishi up and down and smiled knowingly.
"Yup," was Reishi's reply.
"Very well," Ran began moving towards the back, "I had Weaver Jun make them just the way you wore your old ones."
She came back and produced a short black robe with dark blue trim and the kanji for "Heaven", the first kanji in "Tenryuu", printed on the back, as well as a long role of finely sewn wraps.
The robe was very short, it only came down to towards the top of Reishi's thigh, much like a mini skirt. Underneath the robe she wore a pair of bicycle shorts. The chest portion of the robe was left open, and she tied her breasts back with bandages.
Her gloves were unique as well: fingerless gloves common amongst street punks and workers, with the kanji for "Spirit" (Rei) on the right hand and "Air" (Shi) on the other. Her feet were covered with a type of footwear that exposed the toes and heel, allowing for easy use of her toes. For good measure she also wore a pair of work boots when not fighting.
"Thanks Ran!" Reishi said excitedly.
"My pleasure, old friend," Ran smiled warmly. -
"Hmph, further distractions," Father McMahon said as he drew a pair of short swords from under his coat, "As for disregarding commandments...I operate in the name of God, He has chosen me for this mission, to not exact punishment would be my most grievous sin. After all, there have been many within the bible who have slain sinners in His name."
McMahon faced B.L.Z. Bub and held his swords in such a way that they formed a cross and blocked his mouth with his right forearm.
"For your attempted assault on a man of God, despite his difference in affiliation, there can be only death and the Judgement of the Almighty," McMahon said, his face unwavering. -
"He used the name of our lord in vain, surely that is a sin in your sect as well, unless your order disregards the Ten Commandments. Worse yet, he did so in the presence of an ordained priest, an even higher sin," Father McMahon responded, still not facing the Reverend.
-
"El Guapo Grande gets that expression a lot!" he exclaimed.
-
"El Guapo Grande knows not of which you speak! He merely heard about a despicable clan of Hellions and decided to deal with them most hastily!" the large man exclaimed.

The unmistakable sound of a gun being cocked sounded behind Father McMahons back.
Now whats this? Reverend Christopher Ghost observed the fallen paramedic, his eyes settling on the cross-shaped dagger in his chest.
Reverend Christopher Ghost, a devout Protestant, wore a long, flowing white robe over his black shirt and white pants. He had short, black hair and piercing blue eyes, which were at the moment watching his opponent for any sudden movements. He held his dual Holy Pistols in his hands, the symbol of the Cross marked over the barrel of the gun, and aiming straight at the priests head.
I only came to this city because I had heard rumors that the Science Coalition was once again up to their usual blasphemous actions, trying to convert a local scientist into their fold, so that he could continue to commit sins against Gods Will. But... He narrowed his eyes at the priest. It seems that the Vatican has already sent one of their lap dogs to this city so that they can continue to extol the will of the Catholic Church rather than the Will of God. Now tell me... Ghosts voice grew even lower and deeper. Are you a member of the Children of God? If not, whats your business in this city? Did you come in search of the Science Coalition, as well?

(OOC: Wait so they're both named Christopher? This could be a theme...let's run with it)
"My business does not concern you, heathen, nor does it concern these scientists," Father McMahon said, not even turning around to face his accuser, "If you wish to visit your judgement upon the heretical scientists, that's your business. My business is with a witch who could very well be the anti-Christ. So says His Holiness and our Lord Jesus Christ. Squashing heretical scientists means nothing to us, as it would just serve to defame the name of Jesus Christ." -
The ensuing chaos saw fit to allow a new knight to enter this complex game of chess.
Father Christopher McMahon, a devout catholic 'Paladin' strode up to the hospital, forcing orderlies and nurses pushing gurneys to go around him, swearing all the way.
His objective had made itself known. The tall, dark haired man grinned behind a pair of spectacles.
Without warning, a careless paramedic's gurney slammed into him. He didn't flinch.
"MOVE IT YOU [censored] [censored]! THIS PATIENT-GURK!" the paramedic couldn't finish before he was impaled by a cross-shaped dagger.
"Thou shalt not take the lord's name in vain, child. Now thou must repent in hell," the priest said calmly, letting the paramedic's body flop to the ground.
"Mina Leslios," he said to himself, "Thou must repent as well." -
El Guapo Grande merely stared at the tiny man.
"El Guapo Grande NEVER removes his mask!" was all the massive tower of rippling muscles said. -
The building wasn't finished with it's magnificent movements!
From the rubble emerged the Incredible El Guapo Grande, covered in the dust of the fallen building! -
Ryuji smirked slightly, I guess these kids haven't figured out the secret behind the Lost yet...oh well...

People? Yuri quirked. Why is that? You dont seem like someone that would be shy. Training should build strength, health and self esteem. Why would you be shy? Or do you just not like meeting new people?

"Alone...always," Kagura said, "Master...teach, Reishi...teach. But...alone."
