Jeez, I go away to Maine for a few days, and my thread ends up on page 5.
Anyway, I wasn't able to draw much while there, except for a couple nights after everyone was asleep. I did a couple quick sketches of kid raid (he was supposed to superspeed attacking foes then shadow maul the last guy) and dragonberry(with wings) , but I don't think they are good enough to trade.
Soooo, today, I made another Kid Raid which is a little more complete. I may try to clean up the sky raiders a bit, but I'm pretty happy with it. I hope you like it Greymist.
Next is the real Dragonberry sketch.

Another artist that I really like that hasn't been mentioned is Scarf_Girl. Her chibis and non-chibis have this cool, unique, kinda animation style thats very clean.
And lets not forget Atomic Knight. He can do a whole bunch of styles, but his own kicks the most [censored]. -
Did someone call?
Yaaaaaay Square Woot!!
Your Comic Rocks!!

Ok, I finished my Atomic Knight sketch. so now I have KidRaid, Dragonberry, and Hemily. Am I forgetting anyone?
I'm not sure when they'll be done. I'm going away to Maine with my parents, sisters, and 3 nephews from Saturday until Tuesday, so I'll be away from my computer. I'm gonna bring my sketchbook, but I'm not sure how much time I'll have to draw with my nephews attacking me.
Have a fun 4th of July everyone!

You forgot me!

Well, if nobody speaks up I guess it's just Kid, DB, and Hem, then.
You may have to wait for my "I'm looking for more subjects thread", TA, which may be awhile 'cuz I want to do some sketches of my SG mates after my trading is done, unless you want to cough up a sketch in trade.
And thanks all for the kind words, it makes all the hard work worth it. woot!! Gill Bates visited my thread!

Well, I finally finished my sketch of Atomic Knight which I owed AK for a while now. It's a picture of him after a big fight, and he's doing some repairs on his chassis.
I hope y'all like it especially AK.

Well Celsia, you can always use Pep for anything you draw. She loves having her picture taken. But, if you're up for something different, Seera Illumina is my peacebringer.
or any of the heroes in my sig for that matter.

I'll put Kidraid in the ol' noodle and see what comes out...

Very nice, Foo!! You should have him saying" Everyone out of the Pool!" Thats one of AK's sayings.
Also, you are very good at drawing guys being thrown large distances!
Although, I'm gonna have to think of something else for AK to be doing in my drawing of him, since hand clap was my first idea as well. But I have others... Mwahaha!

Thanks FooYes I'm still learning where and when to add thicker line weights. I have a general sense of how to do it, but it's the tiny little subtleties that might be escaping me. I imagine it is something that comes with practice. What I'd really like to do is take a pencils piece and ink it and then compare it to a "professional's" inking, and see what I do different and what they do different etc. Inking hair is really hard! :P
So, Jim? Pep? Jomaro? Your thoughts?I'm really eager for some good in depth feedback.
Maybe I can apprentice myself to an established artist or something :P hehe

Okay, I'm just going to enjoy being put in the same sentence as Jim and Jomaro for a sec.Even, if it's only because my drawing was only taken as a first come, first serve for Rowr's inking.
I'm really no expert, I haven't seen very many examples of how the progresion from pencil, to ink, to colors, but I think you did a very good job IMO, Rowr. Looking back now, I realize my penciling, especially in this pic, isn't so great for inking. It seems to have a lot of light, non definitive lines, and some shading instead of cross-hatching. I think it looks okay for a pencilling, but makes it hard for an inker. It could probably use some o' that cross-hatching stuff in the shaded areas, but it might look just as good if it was colored with those areas using a darker shade.
I did notice one line you missed on the top of Slate's left belt buckle.
I can see you have talent for this, and with some more practice( I have lots of pencil sketches), you'll be great.

is Jim around? I'll ask him if it would be ok if you inked the drawing he did of Apollon.

Jim is away visiting his grandfather who is ill. I think he said he'd be away a week or two. It was in here. -

Do you have any particular sketch in mind? -
You can ink any of the stuff in my Pep's Art Rally Link in my Sig. I'm not sure if they are high enough Res, but if they're not let me know if there is any particular one you'd like to do and I'll see if I can PM you a higher Res copy. Photobucket has a max 1 MB policy.

Well, it was a nip and tuck battle, but with the help of my trusty eraser, I think I got my pic of Lunar Lupun to come out all right. What a pain. I hope you like it Lupun

I love looking at tight pencil work and yours is some of the best. I stare at your pencils and deconstruct the linework, absorbing ideas and inspirations.
Someday, you and I will have to do a collaboration. I'm not sure when, or how... but someday...
