  1. I can do some additional shots and then PS them all together using a dual 22" monitor setup off of a 460gtx for cumulative 3360x1050.
  2. Fantastic! It's good to hear another success story. Anyone else?
  3. Thanks all. A note - the fuzziness in the pics is my fault, I had one of the settings - "render percentage" i think it's called - set lower than the resolution. i set it to 100% after i took the screenshots (and posted by then) and all was sharp and clear with AA goodness. Alt-enter will fullscreen and again to windowed mode.

Also this was a fresh install - no tweaking to the OS.
  4. I have seen many posts regarding linux and trying to get CoX to run. I have succeeded, and here is my setup.

    1: System: Core i5 2500k. 8 gig ddr3 1866, 1 WD tera drive, EVGA 260 gtx Twin FrozrOC
2: Pinguy Linux 11.04, Kernel Linux 2.6.38-9-generic, gnome 2.32.1. Installed on 200 gig partition on the tera drive. full updates.
    3. Wine 1.3.29. Windows version 7. vertex shader support hardware. Allow pixel shader checked.
    4. This PERL script http://www.carnildo.com/cohlaunch/index.html
    5. a Shellscipt that only contains| ./cohlaunch.pl -renderthread 0

I chose Pinguy, since it had a nice version of WINE installed. it also has PlayOnLinux. I can't say which one helped, but at least the WINE works.
All files are in the same directory. I'm running it all out of a folder on my desktop. Links don't seem to work if created, the perl script attempts to install it where the link was clicked.
The first time I ran the shellscript, I had to "run in terminal" and i could watch the action as it dl'ed the files and patched. After that, it launches right to game. I still run it in terminal mode, so I can see what it's doing. Verified on the new Freedom engine. No costume bug.
