Well dived
I like both of the piecec wery much indeed.
Your action work from Pillar of War is very good and has a very good action -feeling to it.
Please post more -
Very well, Cancer research it is.
Snowman Frost by masterdx
Included your drawing in the thread as well -
And now for some friendly critism
Look into some guides on perspective and anatomy.
In your BAS piece you will find that the arms if outstretched are very long. standing in front of a mirror and watch how you would look in the same pose and then try to take taht to paper.
And as said before, keep practiceing cause we all want you to keep drawing.
cheers Poul -
DAMN that is a good one. Not entirely worksafe, but very cool.
-
That looks pretty cool.
Actually I think i´ll print it and laminate it for use as a mousepad.

Thanks dx. I allready commented on it in the other thread
Please tell what charity you prefer me to donate to.
Cheers Poul -
Thanks a million dx
I love the grumpy face you have given him -

Is there any sort of restriction on quality? 'Cause I'm not artist, but I'll bang out a picture for a good cause.
[/ QUOTE ]
I´d prefer it to be above stickman quality, but otherwise no.
So bang it out
-
Thanks.
I dont exspect a major turnout on it, just thought it would be a fun idea.
I am allso aware that 15$ for a piece of art isnt very much, but I guess taht some will just post a sketch and others might go overboard.

Well maybe not, byt perhaps you feel like drawing me
The idea is that I am planning on donating some money for charity, and this way I thought that some of the artist wanted in on it.
So here is the deal. For every drawing I receive of Snowman Frost (Pic in sig) I´ll donate 15$ to one of the 3 causes (artists choice).
1. Research in cancer.
2. Education for children in third world contries.
3. Research into a cure/vacine for HIV
If anyone bites I´d be thrilled
If I run out of money because this becomes to populair I´ll let you know
Cheers and hugs
Poul
p.s.
If anyone feel like drawing my villain as well or instead of my hero, I guess I could learn to live with that to. -
Keep up the good work and practice, its a great start and far superseeds what I can do
I´ll keep my eyes on your work in the future, so keep drawing heroes for us to see.

Everything about this group piece is inspired by existing characters Static's son likes (X-Force Life and the X logo is definitely reminiscent of the X-Men, the red uniforms are similar to The Incredibles, and the concept of a boy turning into all these heroic characters is inspired from Ben10). For a 9... err now 10 yr. old though, I'd say he did a good job overall trying to turn the familiar into a new idea of his own.

I´ll retract my critique then. Awesome tribute from a 9 year old
And I do like the picture -
Great homage to the old comic.
I especially like the cyberlynx detail in the background -
A quick one you say :O
Damn I wish I had skills to do that.

Its a really great piece.
But I have to say it, I really really wish that they didnt have matching costumes as well as the X all over. It simply reeks of teh x-men.
Still the piece is great. -

I like how you included yourself in the background, there.

Damn I didnt even noticed that it was Alex. Ahh well at least i found Waldo. -
Its immensly cool.
And a very interesting way to see CoH charachters made.
Only problem is that now I cant wait to see the next one you are doing. -
Its a great and very cartoonish style. I like it
-
WOW
Simply awesome, I wish I had money to throw after you to have Frosty drawn. -

And Osiris? What? I'm not even sure what point you're trying to communicate in that post...

No matter what he meant, he managed to sound like a jerk.
The guide has absolutely no use for me, but its a great and cheap idea for those taht wish to use a controller.
Thumbs up from me
