It's hard to fault new issue content when it's clearly so popular. The economy wreck was such a shock. I wish I could have predicted that coming before I decided to make a couple of solos. My bad. But that aside, the rest of the content is still there.
As for the new players, hey. If those of us "old-timers" have to spend some quality time teaching some new kids the ropes on team play out in the non-MA world, so be it. Maybe they'll teach us a thing or two. These guys won't stay in the MA world forever, and we might as well be ready to receive them and become the sensei's we all are capable of becoming. -
Agreed. no DOOM here, though I'd love to scream that just once
It just seems that no one anticipated the huge response, good and bad from this issue. And hey, this is the feedback forum after all! If folks want to PL their brains out, go for it. Since it's so much fun, let 'er rip. But since they started this ticket economy anyway, why not go all the way and have a separate market for tickets, and not drop inf at all?
Who knows. Maybe I and those who agree are now the unsilent minority. I suspect that Broomhilda is right and that it will stabilize. Just hoping it's soon -
Have there been any responses from the developers re: the concerns brought up? I'm sifting, but not finding anything so far. Just "thank yous" for the tons of stuff loaded onto MA so far.

PLover, actually, all prices have dropped significantly on Wentworth's, because of most recipes being sold at rock bottom prices for people to empty out their inventory and try their hand at another two dozen recipe rolls.
The prices are down on -everything- purchasable with tickets... and frankly, you can run a few arcs in the mission architect, story only, not even optimized farms, and be able to afford DOs, SOs, or random recipe rolls, for very cheap amounts of tickets. Don't have the 2 million in influence it'll take you to get the rare salvages for a recipe or two? team once or twice in the MA and buy them for a little over a thousand tickets.

Thank you for the advice, but I respectfully disagree. The price on certain recipies might be down, I honestly have failed to find an example but I'm sure you are speaking from experience, but a lot of even common salvage has gone up a tremendous amount. Your suggested solution is not very appealing: Once or twice in the MA team earning a thousand tickets? Really? So it's basically adapt and farm, or bust? I really don't want to go into the MA teams right now. Been there, kinda crowded and fast-food in there. If that's your thing, go right ahead. Have fun, get as many levels as you want. But no one is buying basic salvage with tickets. Instead they're buying them with massive amounts of influence in order to fill those recipies that are suddenly so quickly obtained. It's a real problem. Yes I can suddenly sell drops for more, but it's not making up the difference, it just isn't.
My point is that the infl awards could have been toned down and the ticket economy better supported so that the MA folks can do their thing without affecting the entire rest of the game. Just waiting for the situation to improve. It's only been a few weeks. Here's hoping that it does. -
Thank you all for commenting about the economy. It's nice to know I'm not alone in that frustration. I live in the hope that the farm nation will calm down, as will the economy.
It is very hard to find a non-MA team, and that's okay. I don't mind soloing. But it's becoming harder to build IO's for myself when everything is so amazingly expensive. And if I don't MA-farm, as the term goes, I simply cannot accumulate enough to get out of DO-ville, even using other lvl 50's who have memorized the recipies.
I14 has had an enormous impact on the game. Good for the developers if folks are enjoying it. I just hope soon I can get back to enjoying the rest of the game as well. -
Is there a thread to discuss what has happened with the economy all of a sudden? Ever since I14 release, Wentworth's prices have increased two to ten fold. I'm glad there are more uses, I really am. But can the rewards include a little less influence? For those of us not really into I14, it's getting very expensive.
