Yea, but I somehow doubt there will be a fiant swirly portal effect where the Preates will pour out of.

I expect them to spawn ontop of us Rikti/Zombie style, which means we won't see the portal, which means all the ideas regarding sending things through it won't work.

The issue is, everyones assuming the portal will remain open.

Remember Rikti Raids? Remember how they port in but don't leave thier portals open?

It was at this point a certain black armoured woman who apparently had a bit of a talent for stressing out the Outsider returned to the main room, a collection of CCTV Cameras dangling from their torn out wires in her hand, which with a clattering sound, were dropped on a nearby table.

“There we go, no one watching now, we can talk in peace” She said with a stretch of her arms out as she made her way towards a free couch, “Oh, drinks is it? Let’s see what the wine is like here”

As Mirel waited for her drink, she took the opportunity to dive onto a free couch, causing it to creak a fair bit under the weight of her armour, but not breaking just yet. The Dynast sprawled herself over the whole thing, clearly getting comfy despite what would be expected in armour like that.

“Introductions again too? Well for the sake of anyone who wasn’t here last time, I’m Mirel of Great House Cathak of the Scarlet Dynasty, Dragonlord of the third Cathak Legion, Hero of Two Rivers and betrothed to V’Neef Ryn”

There was a pause as she stretched out on the couch, smiling over at the group.

“Saying my full title out loud reminds me why I just go by ‘Cathak Mirel’ or just ‘Mirel’ if you like”

As long as no one makes her Anima flare, you'll all live.

So I guess Mirel either didn't find any stuff spying on them, or found all of it by now then maybe?

Ahem, just to clarify here, she's using a charm that lets her know if she's being observed, from where and how, it's quite a handy one!

The rather grumpy Dyanst strode through the teleported to the safe house, grumbling the whole way about ‘Untrustworthy Sorcery’ and ‘Unstable Magitech’.

This promptly stopped once she arrived in the corridor outside the secure door, which she surveyed for a second before striding forwards towards it, boots making heavy thudding footsteps against the floor. Her hand was placed upon the scanner, which while her glover covered up the palm of her hands to help support the claw sprouting gauntlet section of her armour, the fingers were quite free for scanning.

After a few seconds the door opened and Mirel rather more cautiously strode through, wearily eyeing up the whole place, and not speaking a word to anyone until she had gone through the whole place, Charm enhanced senses rippling out to point to any hidden observation equipment or observes, which the armoured Dynast seemed to want to quite thoroughly destroy.

Meanwhile, the DNA scanner results for Mirel were… more or less nonsensical, near impossible to make heads nor tails of, with the only thing clearly obvious being that she was obviously a pretty damn powerful magical being, and that it was somehow genetic.

Remember RP can supercede in game effects sometimes, especially if it's more fun. if Rebel wants the emergancy engery form to have very painful side effects I say go for it!

Well we don't know yet if we're having the meeting take palce before the invasion, during the full brunt of streamign Warworks or during a quiet lul when there's no Preat actvity.

Plus using the AE Studio B is a lot easier to get to, to turn up late to and to take characters outside the level range of the SF/TF to.

Well, considering nearly everyone there is a member of/has worked with Vanguard, there doesn't really need to be a Vangaurd representative at all, the NPCs just directed us to the conferance room and told us to get working on defensive arrangments.

The dissagreemnts and disputesbetween equals here is part of what should make it interesting RP!

Because statues and monumants to people who are dead/died arn't used for social gathering points at all.

I mean, imagine if there were a column in the heart of london dedicated to someone who died that was used as one of the go to spots for meeting up/hanging out there!

I mean, clearly such a thing would never happen.

I still like the big get together idea mind, just with the whole by vanguard, we're all on equal footing and we can have unaligned and independants there too.

I agree, moving it to be a Vanguard organised meeting of groups (And individuals, as we don't want to exclude anyone from the plot after all) in one of thier confereance facilties (Fudging the AE here), would make things a lot better.

It puts us all on an even playing field plotwise, that way no ones arguing about whos the figurehead/incharge of organising/has undue influence on the plot.

Plus, this way we get to work independants, and potentially even Kornys idea of Moles into it. So all it takes is a little tweaking and we've got a much more fun for everyone sounding plot, and perhaps pushing the date back a bit as we do seem to be getting some clashes with Satruday.

Also added to the fact that the Gonarov Crew are investigating it, I mean they went through the trouble to retreive the SWATs comm units and bring in Silver hostage.

But yea, it's just a case of recruiting the other people who don't know this is out of the ordinary!

(Or in Mirels case no more out of the ordinary then this entire dragons forsaken city)

We could go with my idea of having a little plot break to give our characters R+R and have a chance to share stories until we kick in with the next arc? What do people think?

Might give us an oppertunity for sweet sweet character development.

Mirel watched the officer depart, still glaring at him, before turning to face the Outsider.

“You know, if they did take the guy alive, I know a few charms that can help us answer those questions, even if you turn up nothing here with this, assuming you’d accept my help that is.”

She sighed before looking out at everyone else.

“I don’t suppose anyone else has a nice place we could go to until then? I need some rest and relaxation after all that”

Surprisingly no one trusted the insane super criminal mad scientist :P

It might however lead us to a breif pause in the action that'll let us do some character exposition/development/backstory stuff though.

At least if Mirel gets her way at booking them into an expensive hotel.

Though not the most visible through her narrowed eyes, Mirel’s eyes were miniature storm oceans as she glared at the officer.

“Because clearly everything that’s transpired today has been our fault hasn’t it? It’s not like we’ve done our best to fight this endless cavalcade of strange opponents that seem to have decided to throw themselves at us.”

She started to pace back and forth, arms folded to her chest, as she sloshed angrily through the water logged roof.

“And the last time I helped you people I wound up being attempted to be arrested for some reason! Are you going to be doing that again? This has to be the worst city I have ever been to, you beat a metal behemoth, they try to attack you, you stop madmen and demons, they try to arrest you”

The angry Dynast changed her course to march right up to the officer.

“Now, since I for one have had enough of playing by your cities stupidly contradictory rules, we’re going to do things my way, you are going to call your people, arrange for your finest diplomatic suites, and then all of us are going to relax in them while you bring us a trained diplomat for us to talk to, we clear on that?”
