  1. Hey all,

    I recently had to make a third server my home (altitis kills) and decided to go with Justice as it frequently experiences medium server loads so I thought it would be a good choice for teaming purposes (which is what I like to do the most). After creating multiple characters to begin playing, I was sad to see that the low level teaming, as opposed to Freedom or Virtue, is almost nonexistent. In fact, every time I tried to start some DFB runs, it took 20+ minutes to get a team together (and sometimes it wasn't even full... I just had to start out of boredom). This has been my experience from 6pm-12am (PST)

    Note: At 10pm (PST) tonight Justice showed a medium server load and I waited 25 minutes to get a team of 7 together for DFB...

    Anyways, I guess what I'm trying to ask is, are there peak times that people get together on this server? The 'looking for group' and 'help' channels were dead tonight and all I kept doing was trying to justify spending money to get more server slots on Freedom and Virtue...

  2. Hey all,

    I know there was a post from Bill Z Bubba a while ago (2 years to be exact) stating the DPS/EPS for Scrappers and Brutes, by primary, but I cannot seem to find a more recent one that factors in Street Justice, Titan Weapons, and Staff Fighting. Have I just not been looking in the right places or has it just not come out... yet?

    Any help is appreciated!

  3. Hey all,

    So I was thinking about making a Super Reflexes brute and am getting stuck on what might synergize the best with it. I have around 25 characters right now but none have a strong defense set so I thought I'd give it a try.

    I'm looking at Katana, Broadsword, or Titan Weapons as my primary so I was hoping some people with experience could shed some light on my dilemma and make my choice a little easier. I know all sets have their pros and cons but maybe one pairing stands out better than the others?..

  5. Hey all,

    So, after about a 4 year hiatus, I have decided to come back. I played several AT's and decided that I wanted to return as a support class. I like "lending a hand" more than "leading the charge" and an empathy defender was something that caught my attention over the other powersets (although, if someone wants to give ideas as to why another set might be more "team-oriented" I would be open to listening as I have not created the character yet).

    I was thinking about empathy/dark for the -tohit on the dark side as I feel it would be very team friendly. My original idea was to go empathy/rad for the -def but I trashed that idea because I felt that the -tohit would be more beneficial in the long run. Anyone have any experience with a high level empathy/dark defender?

    Just a reminder, I'm open to listening to any ideas on team friendly powersets. I don't think something like force fields or sonic is my play style because they do not have any heals and personally, if I play a team-oriented defender, I will want at least 1 heal.

  12. Well wouldn't you agree that if you need to use PP on a regular basis you're doing something wrong?

    I mean how many times do you actually NEED to knockback a foe? Only when they get to close. If you are pulling them close to you ALL the time then you should be working on a new strategy.

    I'm just trying to understand PP better. Don't take my post as an argument

    Edit : Noticed I've been saying that Energy has knockUP when I should have been saying knockDOWN... sorry 'bout that

    I put off Range and Power Push until the late 40s...and was VERY sorry I hadn't taken them sooner. Once you get into the habit of using them, you'll wonder how you did without. VERY great powers for a blaster, they are.

    Not to be an [censored] or anything but I did spend 2-3 hours on test trying to find some use for Power Push but never really understood why it's there in the 1st place.

    The Energy primary has so many knockdowns/backs that PP is just a weaker version of everything else. Ya you can knock anything back A LONG way but so what? You have 4-5 powers that do just that -the distance

    Once again, Just my thoughts on it

    Edit : If you think PP is good why didn't you take Power Boost? ( seeing this from your slots in your sig )

  15. Why is it that EVERYONE besides Blasters gets the "Conserve Power" EPP?

    What about the Blasters that don't have NRG as a secondary? It's kinda messed up
  16. I want to be able to color our weapons.

    I mean, I have an AR/Dev blaster with the colorings of White/Black/Blue and whenever he pops out his Riffle ( sounds wrong, I know ) it's an eyesore to see some brownish thing come out.

    When we are creating heroes it should be TOTALLY up to us to make it what we want. It would be nice to actually have a weapon that fits the costume design
