  1. I don't normally actively seek a group/guild/clan etc. but this may be different.

I have returned from an extremely long break about 1300-1600 days long. So far I am enjoying the game as much if not more than I did back then. My problem is I am very lost on my old main. I only have a 24 right now, but I am looking for a good group to help me get used to the new things. He is Illusion/Empathy and his name is Trickery. Oh and I'm Hero side.

    -Thanks

    New Vs. Old

The only reason I can think to keep the new account right now is if it has special stuff my old one wont. Such as this Tech booster pack (I think that's what it's called) or anything else I may not get with my old one.

@CodeJunkie. It was a spur of the moment purchase, and then I was talking about how I started playing again with a friend. We were talking about our old guys we used to play together. Then I missed my old guys but couldn't remember my accounts name which my friend just happened to remember, and that night I reactivated it.

    New Vs. Old

I just recently came back to Coh/Cov from a 1350 day leave, yeah that's a long time! Things have changed a lot... though I'm not sure if they are greatly for the better. Anyway I did a new account, then missed my old guys and reactivated my old account and I was wondering which you would recommend I keep. I only really like my main on my old account so if it's possible to switch a character between accounts I'd pick the new one. Just want to see what you guys think I should do. Thanks!
  4. Well Windows 7 shouldn't have anything to do with the graphics and the fact that one account differs from another. As for the other suggestions I did turn on the settings in CCC but have not been able to do the game settings since I have not been able to get on the game just yet.

The multiple customer supports I have files were all separate. One in game about my new account and 2 through the support page about two different things.

My main concern at this point is why does one account work better than the other.
  5. Yeah there is that option.

Sorry about not posting the Helper and Hijack I was at work, but here they are.

  6. I recently started a new account to play with my girlfriend. I have a Radeon 4850x2 and so I expected some problems here and there after reading a bit in the forums about ATI cards. She has an Nvidia 9800 GTX+ and runs great.

When I load anything the loading screen is extremely white. My in game is very, very dark, and I can't change any graphics options but the resolution.

Here is where the main problem comes in. After a few days of playing I missed my old characters from way back in beta and the first year of COH. I remembered my username thanks to a friend, and reactivated that account. When I log in the old one and go to options I noticed I can change all of the graphical setting. I put them all on high and even fsaa just to see if it will work and it runs great for a while. I then log out and onto another character from my old account, random object skins start to cycle through other object skins.

Example: I was in a small park like area between some buildings, the grass instead of grass was what looks to be a wall, then it changed to some sort of sign, then to what might have been a tree.
Every time I log out then back in it gets worse and worse until I quit to windows and start the game fresh.

At this point I am still happy just because the game doesn't look like garbage anymore so I log back into my new account and I still cannot change any of the graphical settings and it's still extremely dark in game and loading screens are very bright.
This is all on one computer so I'm kind of confused how just because they are different accounts they can act so differently on the same PC.

Also I have written customer support a few times and have not received anything from them except a customer satisfaction survey.
