Four day warning! Only four days until TTJ's Spring Smash! Get your smashing theme Tank ready to roll and join us in King's Row on the 13th. We meet near IP Gate (please line up on the wall) at 6pm PT\9pm ET. We'll form teams and get rolling from there. Don't forget this month we'll be handing out Gabriel's Hammer or the St. Louis Slammer recipes in honor of the event.

As always, all Tanks are welcome any power set or level.

July will be the Summer Freeze event highlighting Ice Power Sets
October we'll deal with Fall and have a harvesting theme (Bladed/Reaping Power Sets and themes).

I'd be up for it. However work and RL have been pretty hectic lately, but I'll do my best to make it.

Gah! Too bad my Storm/Ill is on another server...otherwise I'd join the fun. Have a good one and let us know now it goes.

I hear ya' Papa Slade, I'm busy this week as well. Hopefully I'll make TT, not only because it's TT, but because I like running Citadel's TF.

For April's TTJ we'll be doing the "Spring Smash", April 13th, in King's Row by IP Gate 6pm PT\ 9pm ET.

So, what does this mean? Well, we'll be celebrating Tanks with a Smashing theme, could be the name, power set, effects, or weapon type. To help keep things in theme I'll hand out recipes for either Gabriel's Hammer or the St. Louis Slammer (I have a total of 30 recipes, so only one per player please). For the Hammer you'll need to bring a Thorn Tree Vine and Steel, for the Slammer you'll need a Thorn Tree Vine and a Luck Charm.

Hopefully we'll have some Tanks there with smashing theme missions, Freaks come to mind...and Dreck would be awesome (of course all the Freak missions are fun).

If you think of any other Smashy theme missions, TFs, Trials, or ideas please post them here or let me know in game.

As always all power sets and levels are welcome as long as you're a Tank!

Happy Birthday LSK!

Mother Mayhem can be a tough, I was able to get in just before the end of TT, due to some RL issues. I'd like to thank all who showed up and Heraclea and Witty for organizing the event in my absence.

We'll run on Victory again soon. Hopefully RL will calm down by then.

In the mean time Classic Tanker Tuesday is on Champion on April 6th and Justice on on the 13th.

On Justice we'll run "The Spring Bash" theme. So, bring Tanks with a Smashing theme (but as always, all power sets and levels are welcome, as long as you're a tank). Faust will hand out Bat or Sledge Hammer recipes prior to the event. I'll post more info on the Justice TT thread.

On March 30th Tanker Tuesday reloads to Victory!

For players who are unfamiliar with TTs, Tanker Tuesdays are player run events consisting of all Tank teams. We run Task Forces, Trials, missions and whatever else the game has to offer. It's a time to take a break from protecting the squishies (TT's usually last about 2 hours) and let loose with havoc Tank style. It's a great place to see power sets and play styles in action, ask questions, offer advice or just hang around and pound goons!

We'll meet in King's Row by IP Gate at 6pm PT\9pm ET. All power sets and levels welcome, as long as you're a Tank!

Tonight's the night! Tanker Tuesday reloads to Triumph! Be in King's Row by IP Gate (please line up on the wall) at 6pm PT\9pm ET to participate in the raw Tanker glory that is TT. See you all there!

All Power Sets and Levels are welcome, as long as you're a Tank!

Tanker Tuesday, the 23rd, here on Triumph, 6pm PT\9pm ET by IP Gate in King's Row (line up on the wall), be there or be squishie!!

You might also check out rolling an Elect/Fire/EM or Pyre, not only are they stacked with AoEs but also get an additional +20% Recharge if you take Lightning Reflexes. You also get a great End Drain/End Refill power that recharges quickly, and the Taunt Aura helps keep the goon's End low whilst you finish them off. It's a very flexible set and allows a great deal of room to customize as you see fit.

Yeah, we did good for the mix we had. In reviewing the mission settings I think I should have dropped the Diff from +1 to 0. But we had bashed our way through the previous mission so quickly I was reluctant to lower it. That last Freak mission we ran was at 7 +1 and ramped up. There were mobs that were purple and red to me, so I know you all were seeing the color of XP (purple)! I think some AoEs would have changed the speed of the team quite a bit, but as is we did great and once again proved how tough Tanks are. And I must say I was impressed with the level of skill and Tanking Knowledge on the team. It was indeed an honor to have run with you all. I look forward to our next TT on Guardian.
