I just saw this thread, am new to Bruting, and I have a question about softcapping and Fury. Does softcapping effect the amount and speed at which you can build Fury? So, does fewer attacks landing = less Fury generated, less quickly, or is it irrelevant?

Just a reminder that TTJ is only one week away! This TTJ will be on the 9th of November, 6pm PST\9pm EST, meet in King's Row by the IP Gate and we'll get teams formed from there. If you don't already have a Tank now is the time to roll one up! If you've already got one, come join the fun!

In addition to our usual teaming mayhem/fun, I'm thinking the Abandoned Sewers Trial would fun to do. It's a level 38+ gig, so get your Tanks in range, put on your boots and get ready to rock!

Agreed, I found that ememies vanished quickly on an all Brute team, not that that's a bad thing....

I had a great time, got to run a SF for the first time, had Philly leading the team, and had a great team to run with (so I wasn't running around lost, which I usually am Red side). So, it was a really fun experience for me. I will say that setting teams for both Blue and Red side was a bit of a challenge, but it all worked out, so it's all good.

We had a great turnout last night for our first Brutal Monday! We were able to field three teams, one Blue side missions team, one Red side missions team, and the team I was on ended up running the Virgil Tarikoss
Strike Force (my first Strike Force) which we completed, in 1:11 mins.

I'd like to thank everyone who showed up, you got some temp titles to prove you were there, and give a special thanks to everyone that stepped up and lead teams for us.

Our Next Brutal Monday will be December 6th, and we'll look to getting some TFs and SFs set to run. Please remember that TF/SF of the event are subject to turnout.

Thanks all for the great turnout, we'll see you in a month!

I know another server had tried to get a Brute day going about a year ago. I'm not really sure, but I think it was short lived and may have been on Champion ... Atm, I don't plan on touring with Brutal Mondays (TTs seem to take up enough of my time ), but if you want to try and get one going on another server, go for it (I'll help out if I can).

1) What levels?
2) It used to be certain builds/ATs were more effective at PvP than others, is this still the case?
3) Any room or chances for a "new to PvP" night?
4) What is a good starting PvP AT/power set

Although I'm usually running around the Tank forums, during the course of Tanker Tuesday's I've gotten many requests for the Brute equivalent to such and event. So here it is. Everyone is welcome to join us, as long as you're a Brute.

LSK, as Philly and Enri noted, Monday Hami's are on hold atm, although this would just be one Monday a month, so we could still raid on the ones.

You may know me from the my monthly hops across Justice announcing that Tanker Tuesday is once again here, or from Hami raids, or from teaming or perhaps from my mistells on JFA2010 and JU (intended for the Tanker channels…). In any case during the course of running Tanker Tuesdays I’ve received a volume of request for a Brute equivalent of the event. So, here it is.

BRUTAL MONDAYS!!!

Who:
You and your Brute

What:
BRUTAL MONDAYS (an all Brute AT teaming event)

When:
Starting November 1st, 6pm PDT\9pm EDT, Brutal Mondays will be held once a month on the first Monday of every month!

Where:
We'll meet in the Rikti War Zone get teams formed and go from there

How:
Super Jump, Fly, Super Speed, Teleport or Ninja Run your way to the Warzone, just make it there however you can

Why:
Because you asked for it!!

BRUTAL MONDAYS will run on the first Monday of every month. We’ll meet in RWZ and set up teams there. This will be an all Brute AT teaming event. We’ll run TF’s, Trials, missions and whatever else the game has to offer. All levels and power sets are welcome, as long as you’re a Brute!

We’ll set up teams according to alignment (so, Red teams for Villainous Brutes and Blue teams for Heroes) and mixed teams can run in the Warzone.

We’ll hold a “feeder event” Gold side at some future date to get folks from Gold to their chosen city in Paragon.

I'm looking for players to act as team leads as needed, so post here or shoot me a tell in game.
