Thanks Shadowe I have tried what you say but still nothing.

I've been deleting the .checksum file(s) and nothing it seems to either loop, freeze or just genrally play up.

after delteing the files, reinstalling several times I keeping messages about checksumming and then it says fixing files city of heroes.exe or it loops thought that and checksumming and verifying files, is there anything I can do?

It just seems to keep looping, I delete the checsumming file and as soon as I try to update it brings back the chechsumming file.

Hi I'm having a few problems with the updater, for some reason it keeps flashing on and off screen every so often showing some very odd times till it updates, something like 1:32:17 for example. It then flashes off and comes back for a few seconds before vanishing, is there anything I can do?
