I noticed at times that I hit +9 the guards that spawn during the Tyrant fight were green to me. The UI says to make sure they do not reach Tyrant during the fight. Maybe take those out ASAP?

Thanks to Amygdala and the fine folks of Champion, I've managed to knock three off of my to-do list. I'm down to the hard ones now. lol

I hoped over to Champion from elsewhere two or three days ago and I've had more fun than I've had in a very, very long time. I was in an iTrial minutes after touching down and I've been running as many as I can handle every night since. I'm loving every second of it. I just couldn't believe the atmosphere on Champion! Very awesome!

I had just about given up on CoH but Champion is making the game fun for me again. I'm not very chatty or talkative but I am friendly and will help anyone with anything at any time.

I might actually get badges I never thought I'd get now.

Thank you all for your kindess and the fun. I think my wife and I have found the place we were meant to be.

I joined BMT and Champions United, but ChampioNexus seems to be private.

I really enjoy running trials, but haven't gotten a chance to run Underground or MoM much.

I'm fairly quiet and keep to myself more often than not, but I always help when the call goes out. It really annoys me when someone asks for help in channels and is met with crickets.

Looking forward to trying out Champion for a while. I have three accounts nearly full of toons as does my wife, so it would take a while to move everyone to a new home.

I'm thinking of moving my badger from Guardian to Champion after all of the amazing things I've heard about the community. Here's what I need if you all would be willing to help out a stranger:

I logged in for the first time - of course back then we didn't have the benefit of "builds" - and just chose an AT and "oh that sounds like fun" took over. I didn't put much thought into because all I really wanted to do was get a character who could fly. That was the goal.

Then all of those first "oops" moments; turning off fly when soaring close to the ceiling of a zone or running right into Kraken and not understanding I couldn't take him out myself... an encounter that took seconds. Let's not mention thinking that taking Whirlwind was a good idea.

Having melee powers on a blaster doesn't mean you're a tank but in those early days, when a tank or scrapper wasn't handy, I got to be the meat shield with the plethora of Defenders that were available for teams franticly healing me.

The infamous exchange of: "Hey blaster, use your taunt", "The only 'taunt' I have is 'Fireball!"

Six years later, I've had pretty much the same things happen to me a time or two recently.

I've been pretty anti-social and quiet but Guardian and its community has been very good to me and my wife. It's time we returned the favor.

Has it really been that long? It only seems like yesterday that it was Issue 16.

I never said Guardian or anyone else has a problem. We have the problem. I do admit, we're pretty anti-social because we're in the same room. I take the blame for not being more active in chats. We don't announce anything because we're of the mind that we don't want to bother people. It's a habit we're tying to get out of.

The ITFs I was on with Armeros and Granite Girl were a lot of fun. I didn't mean to imply they weren't. Most of the teams we join are great.

We don't take this game as serious as some people do. There have been cases where people just go off on their own thing and then get bent when the whole thing fails. We do not and have not gotten mad at anyone. We wanted to do some trial runs with people before we started something up on a regular basis. Real life got in the way.

I've actually gotten a lot of great messages in the game from people who have asked us to do a better job getting to know the server population and not base anything off a few bad apples (something I will admit we have done).

We've had bad expriences but we've had a lot of really greats ones as well. We live and let live for the most part.

I think our issue has been/is/was is that we play together, sitting right next to each other and we can be very anti-social. Not because we're snobs or stuck up, we just tend to talk to each other. I'm also usually running three or four accounts at once, so I don't have time to chat. lol

We play Villains mostly and it is dead on redside. We just want a more active villains to play with.

RSF isn't as hard as it used to be. I just sleep the Heroes with my Mind/Psi and pick them off one by one. Does it always go as planned? No. Usually? Yes indeed.

We're still here. It's hard finding good players redside to run semi-static teams with on Guardian so (reluctantly) we're slowly moving toons elsewhere.

I've ran a few ITFs on Guardian over the past few days with various people; one was with Armeros and I couldn't tell you who else was on that team. On a couple of others it was with someone named Granite Girl (?).

Getting the Master of badges for us is insanely easy to get redside (we can do it with four toons). The main thing is that people don't listen to instruction and the take this game waaaay too serious.

We usually don't seek out people or announce in the channels when we're running anything. We like getting badges and we have enough accounts between us that we no longer need outside help for any badges. That's not to say that we won't drop what we're doing to help others. Sad thing is, we don't see a lot of that on Guardian when we did need help.

My wife and I are extremely easy going, friendly, helpful people who avoid ego and cliques. The community here has pretty much forced us to keep to ourselves. We're good folks if people would take the time to get to know us.
