Please tell me it'll be a police scanner. Totally hero activity right there. -
I'm sorry if this has already been mentioned, but how does this apply to Defense-based characters? If a character normally has a .9 percent to hit chance, and is attacking someone with a .6 defense percentage, does the streak breaker still only allow them one miss in a row? Or does the defense directly affect the atacker's to hit number, in turn increasing the amount of misses allowed before a streakbreaker trigger? If it's the first option, then that's definitely a problem for all defense-based builds.

it's a trick question! That monster! "Killer Mimes" is not a statement at all, but an arbitrary phrase. There's no predjucate (sp? right word, even?), only a subject. there's nothing there to quantify the Killer Mimes, so it is at once impossible for it to be true or false. It's an artificial statement that has no meaning beyond describing a subject. that is the untrue statement, but it doesn't MEAN anything! AAAGH!

I'm sending a big thank you for three people. Me, my best friend, and my cousin, all three of us have had the most fun on City of Heroes than we have on any other MMORPG to date. I'm the forum junkie of the three, and I relay most of the information about updates and Statesman posts to them, and The very fact that there ARE Stateman posts to relay to them says volumes in my book. I love the Update 3 changes, making runners simple for melee to take out, making fear a viable power, making Tanks that much better at Aggro management, the war itself this first week, the evidence of the Armor sets being worked on at long last, the acknowledgment of Controller issues for the next update, the Ancillary powers and Kheldian Epic ATs, and all the other minor tweaks that escape me at this moment. Long live the City of Heroes!

A Scrapper in Steel Canyon will level faster solo than in a team, as long as you're not a crazy suicidal scrapper.
Any kind of defender is an asset to any team.
DON'T TEAM WITH STUPID PEOPLE! Nothing ruins a game experience more than a Blaster who thinks he's a tank, a Defender who thinks they're a blaster, a Scrapper who thinks he's invincible. or ANYBODY who doesn't listen to the plan. Learn to read the names and descriptions of the characters inviting you to a team, or those on a search list before inviting them yourself, and recognizing the warning signs. Air Superiority is one of them, along with Teleport Foe and Flurry, when owned by Controllers and Defenders (note, these are just common warning signs. 'There are exceptions to the rule, as there always will be).
A forcefield Defender cannot constantly refresh both Deflection Shield, Insulation Shield, and run Dispersion Bubble constantly in a six-man team or larger, and still expect to help with damage. Slot your defenses, not your attacks, if that's what your goal is with the character.
Combat Jumping is awesome. Unless you have no room for it whatsoever in your build for a scrap or tank, it's worth grabbing.
Fly is expensive. Plan accordingly.
Superspeed is FUN. Get Hurdle to make it better.
Teleport is not for everyone. It takes creativity to use well, and end reductions to make it efficient for travel.
Mezzing kills. This applies to heroes and villains equally, so love your fellow Controllers.
Controllers CAN solo, Illusion and Mind Controllers in particular. Grab Concealment if you plan to do so at any length.
You don't NEED any archetype for a team. Not even defenders. All you need is intelligence and strategy.
High-end gaming is fun, even if you're only sidekicked into it artificially.
There's more, but I'm tired. COH FOREVAH!!!
