An Addendum:
1) Pulling already covered here.
2) Herding already covered here.
3) Nuking: After lvl 32 most blasters and PB (WS?) get a PBoE nuke. Too many times I have seen a blaster utter those famous last words, "watch this". He then proceeds to run into the middle of a mob and 50% of the time gets eaten alive in the alpha before he can nuke them. Either way nuking a group that hasn't been softened up or otherwise impaired will get the nuker a quick dirt nap.
I was on with my PB last night and a stone tanker, we ALWAYS coordinated my nuking with his herding (to great effect I might add). He would herd and give me the go ahead, I would run into the herd that was completely focused on the tank, and BU+Pulsar+Dawn Strike. Any mobs not dead would still be stunned by the pulsar. I pop 2 blues and help with the mop up. IMPORTANT: Immediatly after my nuke the tanker would release his own AoE and taunt the survivors back to him. Not only did I not face plant even once, my health never even went into the orange.
Strategy FTW! -
Nice stuff!
I would add Endoplasm (acc/mez) to Incandescent Strike. It does bigtime damage and leaves the mob stunned also. -
Neato...
All thats missing is the "crazy tanker" that actually knows how to herd on every team...
Otherwise you are pulling (when the situation calls for it), faceplanting or setting the difficulty to wimpy. -

I going to have to make some binds explaining that, I'm tired of typing the same thing over and over...
Even after explaining it, some noodles refuse to get out of LOS. They are usually first to faceplant, unless the team rushes in to rescue, risking multi-group aggro and a team wipe.
Typically I'm out of sight with one or two team members, all saying at the same time, "that's not how you are supposed to pull...". -
The Robot Heavies seem to (sometimes) have a mind of their own? I had one last night and it proceeded to trudge across the zone (towards what I don't know) and I was giving it commands to 1) Stay, 2) Follow and 3) attack my target.
It seemed to ignore all of those commands. Perhaps some indication of what the heavy is up to might be needed. Such as, going to point bravo, or attacking $target.
They still look cool even though mine was dumb as a stump. -
The most telling feature of a good PUG is, taking care of 1-3 mobs in a group and realizing there are no more left to target.

Good thing I got my Ice/Storm to L50 last nite. I had already noticed that blocking a door or corridor was not working very well. Mobs would run right past me, through the hurricane, to the squishies in the rear ranks and lay into the healers and blasters like I wasnt there. Several players noted that I could no longer effectively block doorways/corridors.
Good thing Ice/Storm has an abundance of controls and slows because I sure had to change tactics to protect the squishies yesterday.
Unfortunately that prevented me from helping the melee front ranks by locking down mobs they managed to aggro...
All in all, the spawns took longer to dispatch than before the latest change.
Que bono?
