Your dedication to keeping this guide up to date is, and this is an understatement, greatly appreciated. I'm about to ditch my 5 year old self built dinosaur that has served me so well and go the way of SATA and PCI Express - two things that would be completely foreign to me were it not for your guide.

That being said, I hope to never see a New Year's Eve party again in my life. I'm an old man and haven't been to one in ages and forgot why I haven't been to one in ages. They are insane! And not always in a good way. LOL

My apologies to all as Skrunger will have to bow out and miss these TFs.
A friend of mine is real sick and has asked me to cover for him as a DJ at a fancy New Year's Eve bash. I say to him it can't be that fancy if they don't have live music!! LOL But he needs the $$$ and I can't leave him hanging.
So will have to just wish you all the Happiest (and safest) of New Year's and hope you leave some bad guys around for next Thursday night. -
Skrunger will be there for all 3 and expects to have a blast (as always).

Thanks much for organizing this. As always, Skrunger had a blast and can't wait to do it again. Hopefully, next time he'll be more of a contributor. And it was nice that it wasn't a superspeed run. It gave this first-timer a chance to get some grasp of what was going on. Much appreciated.

I have a solo SG and use my base vault to hold all rare salvage for enhancement crafting on all my alts. When I need a particular piece of salvage and the toon with the recipe doesn't have it, I log the appropriate toon, take it out of the vault, put it in a salvage rack, log the recipe holding toon, take it out of the salvage rack, craft recipe, and voila! I've saved some influence (usually quite a bit).
There's not a rare piece of salvage that I don't have stored somewhere on some toon. I used to use AE tickets for purchasing them but 540 tickets each was a little steep IMO. Now I just use tickets for uncommon salvage when necessary and I can't find it dirt cheap in Wentworth's. -

Thanks to Jeet for organizing a quick 40-minute ITF. Only had a couple of deaths surprisingly. Ended up with 3 fire/rads, 2 defenders, 2 scrappers, and a blaster. Was a lot of fun.
Hope we can get some more fire/rads next Friday. -
We still on for tonight at 8pm Eastern/5pm Pacific? If so, where do we meet? Skrunger is looking forward to seeing how to really play a fire/rad.

Going to be building a new computer in the next month or so and also thinking about getting a 2nd account. Don't want to play two computers side-by-side so will be using 2 widescreen monitors. Will be installing Windows 7 64-bit with as much memory as I can afford so shouldn't be any memory issues. I'm not comfortable, however, with understanding the best video card(s) setup.
Any pointers at all would be greatly appreciated. -

Fridays at 8pm EST is fine with me. We starting tonight? If so, this might be the only Friday that won't work. Got the remnants of out of town guests stinking up my house. They may aggro me this evening and prevent me having any fun.
