There you go. Though seems kinda late to me. And in truth, puppy really wasn't hyping it. In fact, pretty much said it was on the poor side of average for a standard action flick, with a lot of problems in it... So pretty much the opposite of hyping.

Well, one thing is... Don't chase the runners. I know it seems counter productive, but I've noticed that when chasing after early runners, a lot of time, they'll stop, turn around, see I'm still chasing them and start running again, leading me on a merry chase if I'm playing melee. I suspect that there is code in there that makes runners check to see if they are being pursued, and if they are, they keep on running. But if you don't go chasing after them, they tend to forget they're being chased and either slowly walk back to their point of origin, or just hang out where they wound up.

Well, the Egyptian headress is a lot different from a turban, and evokes a totally different style. I'd say replace that with either a do-rag hat for a more piratical Sinbad look, or just skip the hat entirely.

hmmm... most of the points I noticed were covered, but here's a couple I didn't see.... The right leg is all bendy, but someone mentioned that. It looks like her ankle is made of rubber. Adjusting the foot to a wider stance should cover that. Also, unless you're going for a Bruce Timm style, the ankles are way to narrow. Which could explain why her right leg seemed to have snapped...

The other thing I didn't see mentioned is that the gauntlet arm seems to small in comparison to the body and the other arm. I seem to remember a while back comments that the metal arm is an artifact she wears over her right arm, yes? It shouldn't actually be smaller than her arm itself then... A little photoshop cut/enlarge/paste should cover that though.

Hmmm.. maybe I should look at the art boards more than once a week... I wondered what had happened to Gamma.

I join in with the chorus of sorry it was taken down/glad it's back up. I'm a more recent discoverer of Gamma, but I always hate hearing when someone loses their work because of other people's actions. And totally understand not backing up your work as often as you should for cases like this... I do it myself sadly.

Well, from the stories, Loki was pretty open and free about where he sired his children. Fenrir is one of his after all. ^_^ Though how Loki and a giantess had a wolf child is still a mystery.. but hey, nobody said myths have to make sense.

And for the origin.. hey, magic is a wonderful deus ex machina when it comes to these things. Loki is a trickster god. If you want a pseudo-scientific-magical reasoning... He took a lock of Thor's hair and one of his own and used them like DNA to force grow Strome with his magic.

Mythology is a great source of material though, because it's something people have grown up hearing in one form or another. So it leads to pretty easily identifiable archetypes. That and the fact that Norse and Greek myths just rock. ^_^

I myself have a zombie mastermind who is a dark elf servant of Hel, sent back to Midgard. I'm not quite sure about the details as to why she was sent back yet... but the imagery and theme fit so nice.

They look really nice, Celsia. I love the pose you have Ashya in. The only real critique I can think off off the bat is, her feet look a little small for her body. Other than that, faboo. Nice thing about Ashya is, she's a shapeshifter, so there's no problem with mixing and matching things between her forms. I'd probably do it more myself, but the Icon fees would keep me broke.

I must admit, I saw this link at about 2am during a bout of insomnia while doing some work on my computer and didn't even think about it before watching.....

Heh... actually the choice of high heels was deliberate. As a full cyborg, it's not like she has to worry about balance or breaking her ankles. It's all a part of her legs. Add to that a martial arts style that emhasizes brutal, punishing and often fatal moves and a complete disregard for human life... Well, it's a good thing her legs clean off with a simple hose is all I can say.

We just got it,and it's really really good. The feel of the characters and the action is really nice, and the line work is wonderful. It will be treasure for a long long time. Now.. we've got some other characters we'd like Foo-ized... ^_^

Just a bit from looking at the picture, as best I can tell from their poses. She is a lot thinner (since she never got the overbody 'skin' applied to her cyborg body, so that's good. If it's a judge, Phoenix is about 5'8-9" and Molly is about 5'2" tall.

I'm really liking how it's turning out so far. Very nice action lines, and I think it does give a good feel of how we work and fight together. This is the player of Molly by the way, the kicking one. For those interested, both of us are full body cyborg MA stalkers (on Virtue). Molly is Phoenix's student, and we often do wind up fighting in close proximity like that. Which leads to some very fun cinematic moments since we both have almost identical move sets. I do think the poses show this off well.

The only nit I would pick here would be the already mentioned size. We should have given you a side by side comparasion of our two characters. Phee is not that tall really, Molly is only about half a head smaller than she is. Judging from their respective crouches, it looks like if both were standing at ease, Phoenix would be about a full head taller than Molly from those scales.

Excitedly looking forward to the finished picture!
