But.. but.. I wanted candy....

So I made up my character. The name is Rachel Rapture, and I took Burke as her first contact. I just did the first mission and got to second level then stopped. I didn't do much for the costume, it's really not even a costume. Just the open blazer and pants, so I can change it to whatever team costume we decide later. Right now she's in pre-team civvies. My plan is to skip the first pet, the tree thugs. I'll focus more on the Pain Domination aspects at first and rely on the team to keep me from getting pasted. Later on I'll get the Enforcers and Bruiser (a couple of ex-mob guys and a former prize streetfighter she keeps under her thumb by keeping juiced up)

A bored, criminally minded thrill seeker with an interest in raiding tech storehouses and research facilities for new toys to play with? if Mister can't find a way to manipulate her into working for him, then he's not very good at this Master Villain thing.
It wasn't my intention that Mister gave her the body control device, but something she found. But how's this for an alteration to the background:
The tech that she stole was from a company that Mister secretly owns. It's a prototype device, meant for military applications for obvious reasons. However, nobody could ever get the darned thing to work quite right. However, this girl shows up, takes it and it's actually working for her. So he's interested in her and wants to keep her close where he can watch and manipulate her.
There is a downside to the device however, one she wasn't aware of when she first put it on. It's mentally controlled you see, digging it's probes deep into the user's body and regulating their biochemistry. So if it starts to fail, or is say.. turned off by remote control... the user quickly starts suffering debilitating withdrawl symptoms, eventually possibly sending them into shock, coma or death. So Mister has the carrot to control her by offering her new challenges and new toys. And the stick to punish her by withholding repair work and upgrades to her bio-manipulator, or turning it off altogether and causing her extreme pain without touching or even being near her. -
I'd be interested in a static team. I prefer those to just pugging away by far, and the times listed are perfect for me, as I'm on the east coast. It would highly depend on which days though, as I'm committed to another team on Tuesdays right now, and I play in a static group in another game Thursdays and Sundays, though Sunday is in the afternoon/early evening. I couldn't promise not to be late that day though.
I actually have been thinking of a somewhat niche MM concept of a Thugs/Pain Domination that is somewhat light on the pets, though not abandoning them entirely. After doing MMs with armies of pets doing all the work though, I was hoping for something a bit more active and dual-pistoly.
The concept is a spoiled rich kid thrill seeker used to getting her way. Her father is in the mob and works with Arachnos (doesn't everyone on the Isles, ultimately?) so she's no stranger to crime. She uses her wiles, money and her control over pain to manipulate a group of thugs to work for her. Her special device is an experimental device that allows the user to manipulate the body chemistry of those that have been implanted with it's probes, sending out soothing endorphins to deaden pain or ramping up adrenaline and the like. -
*wakes up to drag Tiger over to the healing hot tub and pushes him in, then curls up on his back and goes back to important napping*
-
*graps Fedor in her paws and rolls over in sleep*
mmm... teddy bear.....zzzzz -
*flails around in a panic before being lulled into a peaceful sleepiness by warm hugs*
AAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaa......... zzzzzz -
*eeks and hides from the Abominable Snow Yuri*

Interesting, interesting. Most of it looked good, the MA animations seemed kind of lackluster to me. Have to see it in person before I pass a final judgement.

*slides into the room and over to the chefbots*
Food, fast and hot. Don't care what it is.
Hi everyone. Been so very busy today with work. How's everyone doing?
*sprints off to work again, sandwich of something clenched in a paw* -
Fill a bathtub with water, sprinkle with oatmeal and raisins, roll in mixture, bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.. oh wait...
Nope, sorry. Dunno. -
Don't worry Black, you'll fit in just fine here with that outfit.

Hiya Fedor. *holds up a vote card labeled 8.7*
The last minute pull out was a nice touch, but I would have liked to see more mid air acrobatics. -
*views the security footage*
Wow.. I didn't know a person could bend that way? And wait.. is that a duck? Oh no no, just the way she's holding the watermelon... -

Is there any way I can find out what happened to me last night?

Sometimes you're better off not knowing... -
Definitely a rough one there, Pogo.
*offers a chocolate chip cookie* -
Short answer: no it hasn't.
Longer answer: People that used to farm missions for power levelling or badges or whatever are now doing it through custom AE missions. Paragon is working on getting rid of that. You will still find plenty of people doing regular missions though, just not as many as you used to find. And there are good AE story missions in there, but you won't find them by teaming up with farmers. -
*wibbles about cookie like and forms a mouth of chocolate chips*
Don't eat me! Even if I am delicious! -
*returns from the movie theater*
Well, Harry Potter was pretty darned good, I liked it a lot. I was especially shocked in the scene when GAH!
*gets hit by the ray and turns into a pile of dark chocolate chip cookies* -
*continues with the tussling a bit*
Okay, just just a little longer. I'm finally off to see Harry Potter this afternoon in a little bit. -
*walks back on mid air to the cliff again*
Yeah, I know I'm breaking the law of gravity here. But then again, I never studied law. -
*stops the tussling and points down at the open air and yawning chasm beneath us*
Say Doc... Ya ever get that sinking feeling? -
*tussles with Fedor in a traditional cartoon cloud, leading him over the edge of the cliff, stage right*
