  1. Flaming Earth just sood there, staring blankly as Poe left. "Well.....That was....Interesting." He shook his head slightly, shaking off the nervous feeling he had. "Bah, I was never scared! He wouldn't have done a damn thing anyways."

Twilight sighed, some darkness escaping his ventilator instead of normal breath.
"Of course. That's why you called us here, right?"

Flaming darted his eyes around. "Err...No it's just--"

"Regardless, there's nothing left for us now. We'll be going if you don't mind. The emotions here sicken us." Twilight began to float to the red side when Flaming jumped in front of him.

"Aw come on now, enjoy your self! Have a drin--Wait you can't taste the drinks... Well there're a lot of ladies here! Actually you're not much of a looker... Just stay for a bit, I'm bored and killing small time cultists like that probably doesn't do it for you that much now anyways."

Twilight just facepalmed and looked around. "Fine...We suppose there wasn't much to do now anyways."

The two went and sat down at the bar, waiting for the waitor to see them. Flaming looked back to Jake and waved. "Ay, Jake! C'mere I got someone for you to see!"

Twilight stared at Flaming a stare that seemed to pierce through him; well he would if he had eyes. "Must you be so aggravating, we 'need to see' no-one and we doubt he even knows who you are..."
  2. (Gah...you all type fast. We'll just say my post takes place before the temptuous woman entered.))

Flaming Earth noted the increasing hostility here and laughed. "Well, aren't things here just getting a little too tense..." He stood up from his stool and began to walk towards the group. He may have seemed like an arrogant twit here but that was only half true; he also was proceeding cautiously. Though he couldn't sense power normally like most here even he could feel this guy was dangerous. "However, if that wasn't alcohol in the drink there I have to assume it was something a bit more sinister in nature, and naturally, put by you. Now I know that a simple man in a tech suit like me could barely hope to even hurt you, but I'm fairly certain strength comes in numbers, no?" He grabbed a small communicator-esque object from his breastplate and began to speak into it.
    --------

Elsewhere in the Rogue Isles, a man in green and black chaos leather finished his slaughter in Primeva when he began to hear a voice in the back of his subconscious, and not the usual one. "What do you want..." Yeah, trouble at the D, was wondering if you would mind doing me a favor and dropping by. "Fine...Give me a moment. It takes a bit of concentration to travel cross-dimension." After wiping the blood off of his costume he tensed and began to scower the various pocket dimensions.
    -------

Back in Pocket D a strange form began to materialize out of Flaming's shadow. "What did you need us for--" He was interrupted by a voice in his mind. Must we really waste our time here? If Flaming wishes to be killed let him. It's not as though we could hurt anything here wiithout drawing the ire of DJ Zero. His attention was drawn the man surrounded in the corner. "This could prove to be interesting. We suppose you called us because you knew you were too weak to handle him?"
"Thanks Twilight....That last comment was really necessary wasn't it?"
"But of course." Twilight Radiation directed his attention to the man once more and looked around. "Well, you don't appear to be well recieved." Dark tendrils seeped from his eyes and disappeared mid-air. Twilight laughed for a second and turned to Flaming "If he wanted to he could kill most of you this minute. Of course retaliation from Zero would be a bit more than fierce."

Flaming looked to the bar and back again. Is he serious? "In any case I just asked you here for reasons you already said. You're more of the magical-killy-slaughter-type than I."
  3. Flaming Earth casually walked into the bar, once he had learned of this place there wasn't much more of a need to search for places that would tolerate him...That was of course unless he was in a bad mood.

"Hey Jake!" He shouted while waving. Sitting down next to him he picked up Jake's drink and essentially downed the entire thing. There was a bit of a smirk behind his mask. "The villain-to-hero ratio seemed a little weak so I thought I'd drop in." There were a series of humms and beeps through his suit after he drank.
*BBZZZTT* HARMFUL SOLUTION DETECTED. CHEMICAL DETOX COMPLETE.

His smirk chamged to a frown. He had mistaken the 'harmful chemical' to be alcohol, as that often happened. "Damn machine never lets me get drunk...Wait Jake, you ordered an actual beer?" After sitting down he took a look at the new bartender. "Nope, can't say I've heard of him before. Say could you get me a scotch on the rocks?"
  4. This time Twilight meerly nodded. "We suppose you are right. That may not have been entirely appropriate. Not to say it wasn't refreshing to feel more anger, though we suppose we apolog-" Before he could finish the sentence a surprised look came over him. "Well....It would appear we've lost one of our own now. Yes; I can feel the sorrow emenating from the one known as Obsidian Arrow. It is--intoxicating. This power ended feels familiar, like the one who was hauled into my temporary home Perez." He began flying in a northbound direction. "Follow if you wish!"
  5. Twilight arrived in time to merely see a man in Souls' armour get shot off of the roof. "Hm, we missed the battle then?" Looking at Soul Strikers' face however, he knew this wasn't just one of their ordinary fights. "We sense; what's the word...Anger? No. We sense...Sadness."

He hovered next to Soul. "He looks familiar. You knew him I take it?" This was followed by a small chuckle and a sort of shrug. "Such is the way in times so foul, a wonderful moment of gloom such as this should not be wasted. Let us find the one known as Steve, we should seek our next move."

As he floated towards Jake to ask about the situation he once more turned towards Soul and began to speak, the ancient malevolence in his voice taking dominance once more.
" Come now, no use in crying over spoiled meat." He always was one to agitate the wound.
  6. "Hahah...Yes he is still alive, this is better than we thought..."
Twilight stared at the man laying next to him, seemingly gazing not just at him, but inside of him. A cloak of darkness became visible around Twilight, and proceeded to slowly melt off onto the ground. The low hanging fog swept over the near dead mayhem soldier and a barely audible scream was the last noise that the man would ever make. As the fog slid off, the amn became visible once more, a grisly sight he was. The skin had been stripped of his muscles and bones and he layed in a pool of his own blood. Whe the darkness reached Twilight it melded over the form of his body, filling any bullet holes and closing the gaps in his suit.
"Exquisite catch there Psycho. His pain and horror were simply delectable. Now, do we have any--" Twilight was stopped mid-sentence by the sound of an explosion and the tell-tale signs of laser-fire.

"We think we have found a lead. Jojn us if you wish, we've seen our necessary carnage here." Twilight took off, flying in the direction of the sound of Jake's robots.
  7. (Sorry about the late responses, have some stuff to catch up on in real life as well.)

Since the battle was nearly over and the machine was without a pilot, Twilight felt he could release it now. With one more violent thrust of the tendrils the machine was forcefully shoved to the ground, Twilight dropping from the sky on top of it with a thud. While ultimately it was a minor victory it had taken it's toll on him; as was visible by the trail of blood he left rolling down the side of the flyer onto the pavement.

His voice now was pained, as he could not simply regenerate his body at will like Psycho. "We're very happy you two could have this little get together....unfortunately hovering back up is not much of an option for me right now." His costume was riddle with bullet holes from the turrets atop the flyer, blood seeping slowly down from each. The Masters obviously modified their bullets so that users of the arcane would not simply shrug them off. "You slit the throat of the pilot did you not? He also was in a great deal of pain from his wrist it would seem."

The ancient half of his voice suddenly sounded as though it had greater malevolence behind it. "Would you mind laying his body near me..."
  8. Immediatly after Twilight had said his remark he held his hand outstretched with five digits extended. 5...4...3...2--
    [ QUOTE ]
Psycho13 came running around the corner.

"I found a bunch of Resistance soldiers holed up in... in..."

    [/ QUOTE ]
[/i]Hm, sooner than expected. Fast Hero.[/i] While they had their little conversation and Kip distracted the machine, Twilight was floating above it, preparing. He held his hands outstretched to the side as a light glow came about him. Near transparent white tendils leaked from his eye sockets and onto the machine, growing as they slipped off the sides and onto the ground. The flyer began angling its propulsion system down as it tried to escape their supernatural grasp. The remaining guns targeted Twilight and let loose; forgetting about Kip altogether. And this is where they make their mistake. Various bottom guns and cannons were crushed as the mechanical monstrosity was dragged onto the street...Though the top half was still firing. The opportunity for Kip and Psycho to take this thing out was now while it was held and busy.

"You really are willing to put yourself through this for these heroes?!" The voice in Twilight's head said increduously
"For all your 'ancient wisdom' it is apperant you do not understand their potential..."

Bullets tore through the chaos leather surrounding Twilight; a black and red liquid falling out. Not to say this won't be a problem... He could only keep this massive flyer held so long before he would succomb to the injuries. "It would really be nice...if you two took care of this now..." At this point the blood was even seeping through his ventillator
  9. ((*Twilight walks in to see Mutant doing homework then playing bioshock* ....*SLAP* "YOU FOOL GREY WAS WAITING!" "Oh........crap."))

"Ah, reckless endangerment. A signal to be off then."
Twilight let the shadows envelop him and his nearby companions and floated by Kip.
"Hm you should feel proud, that man brutally executed at least 3 squadrons of mayhem soldiers in a fit of rage over the supposed loss of you and his companions." Too him something along those lines was the most serious form of flattery, must explain why he didn't have many partners.

At that moment Twlight noticed a disturbing presence in the air around them. He tapped Kipland on the shoulder. "Oh, and not to spoil your fun...but if you value your life you should hold very still." He directed Kip's attention to the mayhem flyer flying close to the ground, not much more than 25 yards to their right. "I'll leave the decision as to whether or not we take this opportunity of surprise up to you." He paused for a moment and thought. "Say...When was Psycho coming back again? Now would not exactlybe a good moment."
  10. "Ah, threates of violence...We love it." He said with a bit of a refreshed tone. "Now where are our manners. We are Twilight radiation and we came here to provide aid to your friend Psycho should he run across more Mayhem soldiers than he can handle."

He took a look a Psycho. "Let's just say we have some compassion for a well-honed killing machine such as yourself." The space above the area where his right eye would be arched. "You don't honestly believe we would attack our teammate after the first day do you?"

His attention focused back to Kip. "In short; you could say we are also a friendly. So stop charging that laser eye will you..." Both eyesockets began to glow green "...Or we'll have to use ours as well."
  11. Beneath Psycho13 black tendrils began crawling from the edges of his shadow on the ground. As they tensed, a void opened from the shadow and Twilight arose in his usual manner; standing erect with arms crossed. He almost enjoyed the near treacherous atmosphere this place carried with it and the gloom of seeing old friends fight.

"Well, it appears we followed the right person after all." he stated in his normal two toned voice.

He looked at Psycho for a moment. "Oh, and before you ask; if I had in fact assisted you in subduing him he never would've believed you."
  12. Twilight looked around, glad to be in a less lit area. While at the same time noting the relentless and rather irritating questioning emenating from Psycho.
"Maybe if you would allow a response before unleashing your barrage of questions they would be able to tell you something..." He said this remark with a bit of annoyance.
His gaze went to the one who had teleported them into the base, "Now...Are you at liberty to say who exactly is the one she is interrogating?"
  13. ((Sorry, would've posted sooner but I obtained a bit of a hectic schedule. Catching up.)
Twilight grumbled as the explosion grew closer, he didn't feel like being trapped again for god knows how long. Though as suddenly as his doubts had him; they vanished with the coming of the strange wind.

After regaining composure in the brutal sunlight, Twilight noticed the one missing. He knew he wasn't dead because there was still a life force, but the man must be under a cave full of rocks by now.

"We would help with these rocks with the gloom but because of this wretched brightness out here we aren't at our most capable--Unless you wish for me to attempt blasting it with bomb-force radiation; though that may not be beneficial to your friend..."

He watched Steve teleport back to the base. "Well, we don't suppose you could have an extra one those for us do you?"
  14. Twilight held his hands out once more and let netherworldly engery envelop him and his allies, providing them all with stealth and a small defense barrier as he followed the 'fellow in the funny hat'. He flew directly above him, so he could anticipate any more fast manuevers. "Let us be quick, We'd really rather not be entombed again."
  15. Twilight was actually almost pleased by Apex's death. Far too often had that man killed off prospective...food for lack of a better word. He watched the one he had originally been following, Soul Striker, take a hit and charge headfirst into the androids.

"Now now, no need to go killing yourself while you're still needed hero." After that comment he stuck out both o his hands, intensly focusing on the center between the androids. A black void started to appear, pulling at the enemies as they stood, taking aim. When the eventually were moved into it they were not sent out of this existence; merely phased into another plane of existence (Black Hole). "We should hurry, they won't be able to touch us like that; though it is only temporary."
  16. ((Sorry, been out for 3 days))

Twilight Radiation took slow and deliberate steps around the area, casting irradiated glances towards the mayhem guards around him. When he spotted Apex he took aim with his right arm. Darkness surrounded his fist as he tensed up, his concentration narrowing to Apex so that he wouldn't hit Combat Toy. A green neon glow pierced the blackness and grew in brightness as he shot a look to Steve "Give us the order to fire and Apex will die."
  17. Twilight took note of the Spine scrapper's fall to the assassin in the room, however short her time down may have been. He also took delight in seeing the possibly insane man let loose so much blood, it was refreshing...

Twilight noticed 3 or 4 men, Mayhem Elite, running towards him; where they got the notion that would be a good idea is unknown.

Twilight dropped his hands to the side and brought them up in a sort of arc motion, a cloud of concentrated radiated energy following, smashing into at least two and sending them flying back. He sent a cosmic burst of radiation directly at one more of the charging men, causing him to fall next to Twilight...A bad move.

Tendrils of darkness reached out from under him, slowly clawing their way towards the guards dazed body. The other side of Twilight used this opportunity to feed itself, Twilight's human side had learned that their flesh and some of their soul kept him content. When the darkness over the man lifted, his flesh was no more, only bones and armour were left.

The other soldier, in fright had slammed his club into the back of Twilight. He felt the pain, but didn't show it, he only turned around. Twilight just stared a petrifying gaze at the man and he was still. The villain placed both of his hands on the man's head and just pumped radiation into it. The fear was visible in the guards eyes, but he had to just stand and watch as the bright green light was transferred from Twilight's arm into the man's head. The villain had just enough time to turn and walk away before the guards head exploded from thousands of radiation induced tumors.

    "Always so messy..."
  18. Twilight Radiation let out what resembled a laugh as the Mayhem Elite started dropping from the ceiling. "Hah, this just became much more fun..."

Twilight quickly flew to near the ceiling, where the Elite were dropping from ther ropes, and began quickly spining in a circle, standing straight with his arms crossed in the air. As he spun faster his eyes began to radiate a green glow. When he reached top speed, searing beams of radiation shot from his eyes as he spun, the beams slicing through all the ropes and causing several to fall to the floor from fairly high up.

Twilights hands emitted a green glow. "Nowhere to run..."
  19. The new man had guessed the group's intentions the moment they came to see the door with AT imprinted on it. He contemplated if continuing with them was really the best course of action. He asked the soul he shared this body with.

You sensed the power the combined group has, you know the potential here. The Masters forced us into Paragon, decimated your artifacts and eliminated the chance for revenge I would get on the Circle....
True; alone we can barely dent their organization, hiding in this forest will not be our eternal fate. We shall watch the outcome of the attack on Aphex Twin. If this group falls, we flee back into the shadows and await our next opportunity. Oh, and tell them how to address you, the fool in the power suit is making me agitated with his nicknames.

The man looked at Soul Striker after being referred to as 'Skull head'. "Our name is Twilight Radiation, address us as such." He held his hands out to the sides, a dark energy seething out of them and enveloping him and all nearby allies; it seemed to give them added stealth for when they moved through the room ((Shadowfall)). Twilight looked at Steve "We can move at your command."
  20. The man just stood, or floated rather, in the cage, never moving, never speaking, only watching. Despite the seeming threat to him from the Resistance it seemed as though he was focused only on the Mayhem soldiers in front of them. As two approached him, weapons at the ready a flood of darkness escaped his ventilator and the void where his eyes used to be, seeping slowly through the detention field which held him, engulfing the heads of the two soldiers. When it passed the two men were left cowering on their knees.

The voice he spoke in had two tones in it, one with the sound of a normal man, and another sounding almost ancient. "......Friend."
  21. The moment the metas stepped into Perez they were not alone. A presence within the forest felt their life, their motives, their power. This thing flew swiftly through the shadows of the forest until the group of unlikely partners were in sight. One, a boy between 16-18 by the looks of it, was closest and so the presence moved into the shadow he cast, keeping pace to see their plans.

Unfortunatley the boy was a martial artists and as such twisted and weaved so much that the man couldn't keep form with his shadow. When Striker performed a sweep kick, someone seemed to materialize from the ground, standing straight with his arms crossed. It was a man fully adorned in black and green Chaos Leather, a black 'bonehead' mask with green warpaint, and a black cape with a green ornate design. He had large black skulls with green eye sockets and the respective hosts' ribcage on his shoulders along with a fanged black skull on his belt. Where his eyes should have been there was nothing but dark tendrils emerging from the blackness and a ventilator covering the lower half of his face.

He spoke in a voice that seemed to have to seperate entities in it. "Not the best time to appear I suppose...."
  22. With the giant black portal gone Flaming's main concern was over; so he could now get back to robbing the.....

He turned to where the bank was, remembering he had dropped the money at the site of the vortex, undoubtably it must have been sucked in during the hellstorm. Son of a...Wait a minute! He clearly remembered a giant cannon vaporizing the portal. I'm sure those people wouldn't mind if I just grabbed that and went on my merry way. No way I'm leaving empty handed.... He could care less about the hydra; this was Paragon after all. With that, with the same motions as before, he was pulled underground by roots to his destination.
  23. Flaming couldn't hear Penny, or anyone for that matter, over the now raging portal. With the fading glimpses of ghosts and ghoulies on the other side there, Flaming was just trying to do what he did best: Control. He gave it all he had, considering his plants couldn't do **** here.....Or could they? Hmmm...I wonder... He aimed his hands at the ground, spraying a fine green mist on the ground, various debris around the area and arced the spray to the portal. A cracking was heard.... Think I got somethin'.. Several monstrous green tentacles burst from the ground and rapped around the debri. The tentacles followed the arc, tossing the rock and steel at the tail.
    "Hahah! It worked!"
  24. (well, Ramare is ut of the picture and Kaolin is soon to be; so it's pretty much in its dieing breath unless Ramare gets back.)
  25. Flaming's eyes grew wide as he saw the tentacle emerge from the stuff inside the vortex. She didn't say anything about giant-****ing-space-tentacles! He slapped his hand against his face Mikey is gonna have to pay double for this time.... As the tail swung by again he shot a ball of flame towards tail, watching the ball explode as it hit.
