Just to put in my thoughts, some of us happen to play the game to team. As in, some of us enjoy the MMO part of the game. By taking that option away from trial accounts, which you do by not allowing them to form teams or respond to /tell invites, you run a high risk of losing quality players looking for that sort of game. I'm not advocating giving /tells back to trial accounts. I find the spams as annoying as the next person, but I do think they should be allowed to form teams. I don't know if you've ever tried it, but waiting for an invite for a team if you can't talk to anybody can be a while. And if you do get one ... well it's likely a filler invite or someone who can't get teammates any other way, neither of which is what we want to introduce potential new players to. While RMTs are a serious problem, I don't think our restrictions against them should go so far as to actually interfere with as central a part of the game as teaming. *sigh* Now, I only wish they'd do something about the chat issues.
