As for End and Toggles I can't say I've had many problems since hitting SO's as I have always included some End Red into my slotting and AM really helps with recovery esp if there are 3 or more /Rads on board, since the Imps do most of the hard work debuffing the big bad and keeping the little fellas up is pretty easy.

I might have to resurrect my fire/kin after I'm done with Miss.

As a member of "Children of the Phoenix SG" from the outset I can say that yes the concept is great and its a lot of fun and furious action, however a lot of folks get bored with it very quickly.

I believe there are only three active members left in the SG now and we are all almost into our 40's. having 3 AM 9 Imps and all the debuffs you could want AV's and GM's do not last very long against us.

From 1 to 16 was really fast then members got bored and started leaving I had to take a forced hiatus from the game and it slowed us quite a bit I was still 26 when the other 2 members were 32 but with their help I was up to 32 in a week

The push from 32 to 38 for me has taken maybe a week of game play but we can now take on almost anything between us and TFs are a walk in the park.

In conclusion the idea is fantastic but definitely requires people to be patient get past the stage where hunting as a team is best XP and move to missions. Team with as many people as possible to keep the mix fresh as being uber team can get stale very fast. Finally let people have freedom with their builds everyone with the same powers speeds up the boredom factor too.

But if you feel like tagging along with 2 or 3 of us on Defiant send me a tell or look for Misstrix and Professor Radburn, we always welcome extra fire power on the team.

Hehe as I've said before Im useless at PvP but Im always tempted to build a stalker just for the Johnny English of Assassins Im here for fun and laughs and sure it can get annoying when you get focused on an objective and get stopped, plain blood boiling when you get repeatedly jumped for no better reason for the opponent to laugh at your non existent skills. Aside from this I know there are some great people out there and they just want to have fun too.

I have to say I wish I could be on tonight but my toothache is now so bad i feel like one side of my head needs ripped off to stop the pain and it seems if you want to see a dentist round here you need to be rich or extremely lucky to catch one willing to work outside banking hours If I could I would pull it out myself right now.

I will try to be on when I can with college evening classes and homework now taking up a bit of my time (They have condensed the courses this year so just started and 4 graded pieces of coursework due in November. )

main issue is not connecting fast enough to the server to even get on disconnects dont seem to be the issue loading times are. I will try to be on tonight but if not hope you guys find a good hunting place for when I can

Ok my ISP has decided to up me to an 8MB package and in doing so my connection has dropped to 110k down 300k up and I am having real issues getting on so hopefully this will fix itself after the teething period of 10 days (So they say).

Well the test with LR and Babbage was interesting we got him down almost halfway before his regen started getting back faster than I could keep him debuffed. Maybe next time with some SOs slotted in there.

The fight will be impossible without this remember Kraken us plus a bucnh of heroes couldnt even touch his regen till someone summoned a Shivan. Babbage not a good idea at this point.

Ok I am going to try and get this out in one go. I dont intend to offend anyone but this is how I am viewing things.

I dont argue with the numbers, but the expectation that everyone, is expected to bot along yes stack AM for the buffs, yes use hot feet when the situation calls for it but some of us do not work well in close quarters targeting etc, I for instance pick my targets to make best use of things like infection and Flashfire and cannot do that if i have to waste my time tabbing through every enemy in close quarters. When we hit the EB in the TF we did not all have hotfeet running but he was still owned just like every other mob in the TF, from what I saw running in ended up with the most faceplants.

The other point I was making was that "Listening" really did not have anything to do with some of the issues of timing, for instance AMs although we were not perma 5 or 6 stacked all the timed we still owned, I know for a fact some people are losing interest due to this attitude and the who should we follow confusion.
The tactics you describe also require us to be close at all times and having a single voice for the go command but hardly anyone waited it was look for the most interesting mob and aggro.
I will agree that the infect, flash, cage, hot foot tech works well on hunts but in a mish with closed quarters and tight maps there needs to be more organisation with ppl assigned tasks.
i.e, initial radiation droppers, Cagers and flash droppers to start the fight then use hot feet and char to clean up. This would allow all three to be dropped on the mob at once and prevent them from being able to initially respond to the attack.
I am not saying this should be the only way to do things but it is one way to save on the repetative rinse repeat and allows for people to still be comfortable with how they play.
Another thing is the harsh comments on how people play, in game there have been many comments about don't use thgat power cause I dont like it [blah] reason. This really doesnt help team synergy as long as we are going well (which we were) why complain about how someone has chosen to build their toon and which powers they use to achieve the goal. If its working it must be alright I could understand if it was causing team wipes but we owned .

Ok Ranting Done. I just want to see this SG succeed and it wont happen if we fall apart because of people being told how to play the game, its for fun if you cant have fun you wont play the game

From what I could tell for most of the time AMs where sync except for the odd occasion when someone was AFK or theirs had not recharged yet. However spamming the chat channels with "Everyone Turn On Hot Feet" is not necessary if everyone is not standing in the mob. I agree it was fun death was minimal but death should always be expected and makes it a challenge. Its just not right to expect everyone to do the same thing, the syncing of AM is easy to fix but shouldnt be expected to work all the time with so many individuals it doesnt always have to do with people "Listening" other things can get in the way too.

I dont want this to start into any kind of flame war I just think that things will never be perfect with so many seperate people and it should not be perfect anyway as it would be stagnant rinse and repeat all the way to 50

We should act as a team but allowance should be made for some variation, as I said before variation in playstyle and skills plus personalities cannot be dictated, and it makes a great test of "Making it work, when things don't always go to plan" sure everyone should be doing their bit but that should not be the same bit for everyone.

What you are forgetting here is that people have different playstyles, and common sense will tell you that if you arent running into a mob there is no need to have hot feet on (big waste). The mobs were dropping fast enough. Also as to AM some ppl were not slotted correctly for some reason or being just outside of others AM area so recharge times were messed up. Dont slam on how others choose to play as we are all individual and play at different levels of ability. If we are expected to just be bots to just AM and Hot Feet our way though this then it is going to get really boring really fast. It was fun how it was and a good test of teaming ability, if you cant work with other peoples play styles then I dont know what to say for ya

Remake said he would be there for the TF also.

Just go back to each of the markers you will still get the beacon even if you have the badges from before.

Carni that may well have been Me(Misstrix), Professor Radburn, and Remake. We were the first online yesterday evening and decided to have a little fun while waiting for others to log.

Once again a great night can't wait for the next full meet up.

I am looking forward to testing these toons out in some TF's with just 4 of us we were owning Boomtown at lvls 11-12.

But see you all again Thursday I am attending my twins first birthday tomorrow so wont be online.

I have to say last night was a lot of fun but in the interest of making sure we all get the most out of hammering mobs wherever we go that we progress as a group through the zone. Gradually making our way through the difficulties and as one group so as not to have people left behind or dying while trying to catch up until we get to our travel power where this wont be a problem anymore

We seemed to have a little difficulty with different people wanting to do different things and this may have caused some abrasion with the team. I think a good solution to this would be to set a zone and a goal for the evening and one person guiding the group in a direction and giving the orders.

As a single cohesive group we totally rocked but as we got seperated and people running in their own directions we saw quite a few faceplants and much difficulty catching back up to each other.

I look forward to much more burning fireworks next meet and if you need a hand helping new members level up give me a call.

It was good to meet ya and join up Cerberus I logged in as Misstrix tonight it was a lot of fun if I can make it monday night I will Looks to be a lot of fun.

I would love to join you but something always crops up to interupt any schedules I set maybe one day I will get things sorted out and be able to join in on the burny debuff fun.

I dont think you should give up on the server everyone has their point of view but you dont need to agree with it or follow any advise given, but don't take offense at it either.

Public forums are and always will be a place for people to post their thoughts and ideas (not always intending insult where it is taken). I always like to take any responses as friendly unless it is really obviously aimed as a flame.

This thread I do have to say has been a real source of information with people bouncing ideas back and forth even if it was originally only started as a join up and chat post.

Please let me know where you all meet up and what days if other than just monday and I will try to make it along it sounds like a lot of laughs.
