the Destroyer of Couches is named after my dog lily. she's a giant purplish spiney/regenerative scrapper. so very appropriate.

by 8 monthes of age she had eaten a hole in my cushions, chewed thru the legs of the couch causing it to collapse when my daughter jumped off it, and removed the covers from the other cushions. still don't know where the battery pak from my cell went....hoping she didn't eat it.

i'm now on antibiotics where she kept scratching my shin [and i didn't take proper care of wounds] for attention.

how could i not name a toon after her namesake; although i was notified that lilith the destroyer of couches or lily the destroyer of couches were invalid names for some reason.

note lily will be two in 4 days [may 18th] weighing in at a measly 56lbs and cujo the stray i found in march [will be a year old on august 14th] weighs 81lbs as of this week [minus a few naughty bits since he was neutered].

ps Cujo the Stray a dark melee/willpower brute is prowling mercy island at present. the result of experiments by a demented vet on a poor stray dog: cujo broke the chains securing him to his kennel. cujo now knows no master and thirsts. finally made a red side toon that i might keep around this time.

well they all went down this morning just as i logged on for something to be added. gonna go watch this week's 'bleach' and maybe further episodes of the old anime 'tactics'.

as the father of a 15yr old daughter who's started dating all i can add is: good luck.

been enjoying new talos contacts and the 2 arcs associated with them. did both parts of posi tf with new friends much fun had and got 6 badges out of it [was close to a few defeats admittedly]. sad no globals.

ran new toon in sewers with some new folks blast had by all. sad people don't like to go there much anymore [heh, i've only been on a year and say that...go figure].

Electron's Fury [science/elec/electric manipulation blaster]

The hero who became known as Electron's Fury started her new life by being in the wrong place at the wrong time. She and her parents were attending a high school basketball game when the Clockwork initiated a raid for spare parts. During the initial phase as power was cut the lights went out and she was separated from her parents. As they tried to find each other in the dark chaos she stepped in water from broken pipes, as well as, exposed wiring when the power came back on electrocuting the young 15yr old girl. Frantic to save her both parents were also electrocuted as first her mother grabbed the girl and then the father tried to save both his daughter and wife.

The EMTs were 'shocked' [sorry for bad pun] to discover that the burned girl was still alive; although, her parents were dead. Sadly, all three were burned beyond recognition and all id was apparently destroyed. With the many lives lost during the raid it was impossible to identify the girl. Artists drawings did the girl no justice and neighbors who might have recognized the girl's red hair drew blanks from the black and white drawing published: assuming that the family moved away as many did after the raid.

After a year she eventually regained consciousness as her body and skin regenerated. The hospital officials recognized a 'meta-event' occuring in the young girl's body and had contacted Crey BioTech for aid in caring for the girl. Crey was more then happy to provide assistance: first monitoring the girl and then moving her to a special facility as the body began generating mild electrical current.

Waking from the year long 'gestation' with no memories and strapped naked to an examination table the young girl panicked discharging the natural electricity in her body burning out all the instrumentation. Crey's scientist were esctatic. Here was a perfect opportunity to create a new type of their Paragon Protectors for the Revenant Hero Project. Unfortunately, they failed to recognized the difference between a young girl with no memories and a mindless clone.

The girl's horror grew as during an examination they discussed the pending vivisection and then cloning of a new product. Drawing power from the building's grid and then releasing most of it freed the girl and disengaged all security locks in the building. She fled naked thru the streets pursued by Crey Agents and Protectors until she was rescued by Silhouette's Shadow and taken to the nearby Headquarters of Heroes Unlimited for safety. Silhouette went back into the night's blackout [for the girl had drained not only Crey's power grid but most of the city's power as well] to lay false leads and mess with the Crey minions.

Eventually the girl took on the name Electron's Fury, Fury to her friends, and became an active member of Heroes Unlimited protecting Paragon City.

i was born in the 60's and got to listen to it all as well: rock, bubblegum, c&w, you name it,....

i've got a decent station in my area that plays mostly 80's and have corrupted my daughter and her friends with billy idol and heart. hah not only spent inheritance but got even for the spice girls.

admittedly i'm on at odd times between 7a-1p edt almost daily and 7p-10p on nights my daughter isn't staying with me [she has to facebook you see]. I have noticed more folks at times and i'm always open for a good sewer run or the occassional tf.

i'm not all that familiar with using the channels. i'm managing to get spammed with guardian chatter that's occassionally distracting me from tells i might get and haven't found level 50 [and me with a new 1st yr vet rewards too-shame on me].
