opening presents that are around the zones gives candy canes, or little frostlings (100 for that badge)...the timer seems to be 3 minutes unless they aren't cleared and need to despawn on their own, then it's like 6 minutes. Teams of 5 or more can spawn a Winterlord giant monster from the presents. A watched present spot will never respawn a present...so if the Winterlord runs from the area...make sure someone stays at the present point to keep it from respawning and thus despawning the Winterlord. This is all observation of last years event. If timers and such have changed, we'll find out very soon. As I recall the frostlings drop tech enhancements and arcane salvage if you are hunting them experience as you work on Toy Collector (badge for opening 200 presents)...all info gathered while I was being OCD and getting Tot Collector on 42 of my alts...
