After being away from drawing on a regular basis for almost 20 years, some of the old skills are beginning to come back. I managed to get several decent pictures drawn - I was pleasantly surprised.

Mixed in there are scenes from the various roleplaying threads I write in, including one of my all-time favorite scenes I call 'Less Filling.' We had a group of trolls attack a Frat party, and Zeta comes up behind a troll with two full kegs and smashes them on him.
Also, if anyone has some decent screenies of Tub Ci (leader of the Tsoo), I could really use those; I need some good reference pics of him. -

You guys are very inspiring, I have to admit. I'm out of practice, but I thought I'd give this a shot.
The first piece is my main character, Mithril Zeta. He is also featured in the Roleplaying Forum in the Paragon University thread and Blood Wolffe's Pillar of War story.

Your main Hero...Mithril Zeta
1) Discovers that a teenager with no combat training and a few low-level powers is attempting to follow in their footsteps with a similar outfit and name.
1b: You throw a huge curve into your life and career to mentor the kid. sigh. Hes a teacher. Its what he does, even if it is a pain in the butt sometimes.
2) A villain confronts you in the middle of a large crowd of civilians.
2a: You try to defeat him so quick he has no time to endanger anyone Taunt is an excellent skill to have.
3) You are on patrol when you hear what sounds like a domestic disturbance from a nearby residence. Screams, crying children, physical combat.
1: You walk on. Can't stop for what might be a loud tv every time you go down the street. This one is really hard, but its probably true. Seeing is one thing, hearing is another.
Your main villain...Aqualos
1) Has just gotten his hands on a live nuclear weapon. The problems are the fact that the weapon is literally in his hands, and a veritable horde of good guys are seconds from arriving and beating him down. Most importantly, no quick easy means of escape are available.
c) Give it up. Next time, Gadget! Aqualos has no wish to destroy the world but to save it from those who would destroy it. He also thinks that he would be the best choice to rule it.
2) You arrive at your latest caper ready to obtain something useful to your purposes. But a hero and villain are already clashing over the goods!
1: Wait for the fight to wind down, then risk trying to eliminate them both. Might as well deal with two pains now than later.
3) The Rikti offer you governorship of earth if you help them complete their master plan. Their plan seems likely to work with your help.
2: You sign up although it makes you a servant of the Rikti. You can always betray them later. And hed believes hed do a good job of both ruling earth and betraying the Rikti. -
The Emerald Claymore's Emerald Claymore
The sword itself dates at least 800 years (Im trying to remember my Scots history). The metal is not a natural metal and has been imbued by a combination of druidic magic, early Christian blessings, and faerie seelie magic. It is semi-intelligent and chooses its own master. It likes the MacBain blood (the early Christian priest who blessed it was THE first MacBain the MacBains descended from priests. The first wielder was his son.)
Over the years, many different members of the MacBain family has been chosen by the Emerald Claymore. One fought beside Robert the Bruce; another by Bonnie Prince Charlie. The most recent fought against Germany in World War II.
The Current wielder is Ross MacBain. Normal high school student from Zamata, MN. Went to Scotland during junior year. Went to where the MacBains come from. In the crypt of an old church, a door opens for him, and there he finds the ancient clan claymore the Emerald Claymore. Gifted him with various auras, armor, instinctive fighting abilities, and the ability to leap long distances. It is a magical transformation: he stores the sword in his spine merely touching it to the back of his neck. When he draws it out, he can choose when his costume looks like/or mend it, and when he replaces it, he can choose what civilian clothes he is wearing.
He's now a Junior at Paragon University. -
