I believe a new and fun concept would be dual powerset classification, where as you take one power and it is both your primary set and secondary set. Polearms would be a good choice for this.

Polearms in reality are good at attack and defense, and the costume characterization would be amazing!

Really anything/shield is a good combo, lots of pbaoe damage I have found is the way to go. Build-up + Shield Scharg + Whirling axe = lots of damage!! I would recomend not taking taunt from your primary powerset as Against All Odds in your secondary set is an auto-taunt that up's your damage per baddie around you!

Does anybody know if you have achilles heel slotted in multiple powers does the proc stack?

I run a storm/elec defender on freedom, it is a pretty solid toon, it's major draw back, however, is being ganged up on by stealthed stalkers. You will have to learn to stay in constant motion with this build, so as to try to prevent this from happening.

As far as the corruptotor build goes if you don't mind playing the end drain game I would recommend playing an elec/thermal. Combining heat exhaustion with all of the other end drain effects will make you almost unbeatable.

The thing I would like to see most of all in base construction is the abilty to build bases up instead of out....... I know this probably won't happen but I can dream can't I?
